Been coming here for a while now. Glad to see that they are now open on Sunday’s as well. This is a great place to come for a coffee date or even to study and get some work done. However this little gem was so jam packed today I couldn’t imagine staying for a while. The price of the drinks are pretty high but once you taste them you do feel pretty convinced that you are getting your money’s worth. The flavor of the vanilla latte is sweet but not overly sweet and the frothyness of the milk is just the right amount of creamy. I haven’t had the affogato in a while but when I used to them they were amazing~~~ Valet parking. It’s free if you’re just taking out coffee though. Friendly, fantastic service! Definitely will be back to try the seasonal horchata latte!

I don’t give coffee shops 5 stars lightly, but this place truly deserves each and every star. I have searched far and wide for the perfect mocha, and Bourbon Street gets pretty close. Drink sizes are generous(unlike what you’ll get from Intelligentsia, etc. for the same price), there is plenty of space to study, and free Wifi. The staff is also friendly and the valet is cheap with validation(although they aren’t always there so you can just park for free sometimes). * My ONLY qualm is I wish they would bring back the check-in deals, because it can get pricey.

I really like coming here for my coffee breaks when I want to stick it to Starbucks and get a CUTE latte by the friendly staff! Love that they use Intelligensia coffee… it’s so strong and tasty! Also happy that they serve affogatos(my fave) and affogato shakes here! They used to serve Anima sandwiches, but now that they’re gone, they’ve figured out a way to make their own. Kudos! They give you a good serving of salad w/each sandwich and they use/make(?) one of the best blueberry dressings I’ve ever tasted!(Plus a tiny cup of bb compote.) I don’t even think I’ve ever had blueberry salad dressing before! Who knew it could be so good! They have a big space for the seating area, which gets pretty packed at times, but you’ll still find a seat. Don’t forget to get a loyalty card and start racking up those stamps!

The atmosphere here is amazing. Very relaxing when I was there probably because it was during the morning. The café has a warm welcome to it especially with the jazz feel. I’d love to go back!

Good coffee, free wifi, plenty of tables, few outlets, but valet parking which can be a good and bad thing in dtla. It’s a spot I’ve visited a couple times to get work done. I recommend their cold brew.

This is a really good coffee shop option in the area, but it is super hard to find parking. Do valet and it’ll make your life way easier — it’s only $ 1.50 too! The lattes are well made. The coffee isn’t overly burnt like other places and has just the perfect amount of milk vs coffee. They have several different brewing options for your cup of coffee, such as a pour-over or chemex. The pastries and little desserts are way too expensive for what they are. $ 5 for a muffin?! It was also super dry and kind of bland.

3.5 stars. I like that this café is large and spacious with plenty of seats and tables whether you’re there to socialize or get some work/studying done. The drinks are reasonably priced and of good quality, especially for K-Town where overpriced seems to be the norm for low quality coffee. They brew Intelligentsia coffee here but during the week I came they were serving Copa Vida coffee. Personally I’ve yet to try Intelligentsia(the shame, I know) so that didn’t affect me. I even got a free sample bag of Copa Vida Grace Espresso coffee beans, yay. I had a caramel latte and it was delicious, no complaints. Atmosphere-wise, I thought it was a bit dimly lit for getting work done seriously. Maybe I was just there during the late afternoon, before they really turn the house lights on. Also the wifi didn’t work for me, even though my laptop showed it as connected. Needless to say I didn’t get much work done, but I did enjoy the time I spent there chatting with my company(and eavesdropping on what sounded like a first blind date nearby). I found the parking situation to be odd — I parked my own car in the lot around 2:15 p.m. and then the valet came to me for a tip. I PARKEDMYOWNCAR and had to pay a tip? Then while I was inside the café, a valet came in at 5:45 p.m. asking people if they had valet parked. He told me if I wanted to stay I’d have to pay for dinner parking… for my already parked car, haha. Talk about typical LA parking bs. Overall, I really wanted to like this place but my experience didn’t blow me away. Perhaps I need to come back at night when they have live entertainment. I wouldn’t mind giving it another try when I’m in the area.

Valet parking is $ 1.50. Since parking is so atrocious there, I would suggest doing valet unless you get really lucky lol. The ambiance is really nice and such a calm and peaceful area to study. There are plenty of tables and the music is nice and mellow. I got the Spanish Latte which was really good! There was tons of cinnamon towards the end of my drink which was great because I love cinnamon haha. They currently have Winter Special drinks and Horchata Latte is one of them which is one my next list of drinks to try! There are a lot of other options such as milk tea, tea, and food, which I need to try!

The coffee is great, full of caffeine. I’ve had the following: Matcha Tea Latte Cold Brew Espresso Mocha Latte However, outlets are very scarce; one powerstrip on the side closest to the walls at the tables and some near the bar. Either bring an extra power strip or have a fully charged laptop. However, the ambiance is nice to study with and the wifi is great as long as you’re not trying to podcast.

Love the jazz music. Plenty of tables with outlets and the area is, simply said, «clean». The baristas are nice and the wifi is fast. Food is not half-bad either. Overall, a perfect place for the study types from morning to late evening(10pm closing). A few sockets are available here and there along the walls. Just beware that occasionally the place typically fills with lunch-goers around noon. Of note, I parking is valet in the small lot surrounding this corner building. The deets: — cold brew — strong and good ~$ 4 — chicken caesar wrap — chicken plus lettuce salad wrapped in spinach tortilla served with a side of fresh fruit for ~$ 7. Not bad, not amazing. Overall, I’ll be back for some coffee to get my study-on.

Features: –We came here yesterday and ordered the oolong tea in a pot, royal milk tea, this sweet toast pastry, and the curry chicken sandwich. The oolong tea was good, nothing too special about it in my opinion. However, the royal milk tea was so scrumptious! It was not too sweet and it tasted like a million bucks. It was so delicious that I can go back for more today. The sweet toast pastry was okay, a little too sweet in my opinion. The chicken curry sandwich was also okay. The bread was too toasted and hard. –This place is perfect for students who want to study. The environment was really quiet and perfectly dimmed to aid in that. –Good customer service. Improvement: –I thought the chicken curry sandwich coud use a little more taste to it, and the salad that came with it was a bit on the dry side. Tips: –If you want to refill your hot tea, bring your pot to them so they can give you more hot water. –Trust me and try the royal milk tea! Love the tea art!

This is some quality coffee! Nice little café with terrible parking. We got lucky and found parking on the street… There’s valet on the lot itself or paid public parking lot near by. Ambiance: Modern café vibe with tables and chairs. There were mostly students occupying the tables with their laptops. It looks like a nice quiet space to sponge up some knowledge. All the chairs were taken so we had to stand around while waiting for our drinks. Baristas were friendly. Quality of the drinks were excellent! The flavor of their coffee is complimented well by their syrups. Belgian mocha on ice was uhmmazing!

What a cute café! I really liked how spacious the café felt and the décor was very simple but perfect. It seems like it would be a great place to study or read. To my surprise, the pricing here is incredibly reasonable. I got the Bourbon Iced Latte and it was delicious! Just the right amount of sweetness and the coffee had great flavor. I will definitely be coming back here again and will need to try the desserts. :) For parking, we got pretty lucky since it was a Sunday and there were some street parking down the block. Unfortunately the parking lot in the plaza has only valet parking(but of course since it’s Ktown).

When my days are low & I need the perfect pick me up, crossing off one of my bookmarks would most likely do the trick.(Side note: Unilocal should definitely consider making a checklist option!) COFFEE: Got an affogato(vanilla ice cream drowned in espresso). Delicious ice cream, not too sweet and very creamy. Espresso, bitter & strong as it should be. Still training my tastebuds to enjoy the bitterness of espresso more. Simple and clean presentation. I aim to come back for a pastry and a latte! ATMOSPHERE: You walk to the store front with the door already telling you, «Just About Coffee» which exactly depicts the café itself. The place has dark colored walls reminding you of coffee beans, the smell is of fresh coffee, & almost every table has either a laptop or a novel. Jazz music playing that suites the mural of its main wall. It’s a very appealing café. And there’s a lot of cafes in ktown! But this place could stir up some good productivity. However, the spot’s main downfall? It’s parking lot when it turns into valet after 5:30 or so. The guy doing valet hassles everyone to move if they parked in the lot. Customers, myself included, felt rushed and disturbed. When I was about to leave, the valet guy parked a car by my side which WASN’T even a spot & boxed me in. That left a bitter note to a new café visit. Heads up: — There may be a parking lot but park earlier in the day or don’t expect to stay long if it’s much later. Valet will ask you to move.

I like that this place opens early. I do not understand cafes that open around 11A. It has its own parking lot that usually requires valet, but when you go to the café in the early AM, you can self park :). There are not many options for pastries or sandwiches though(if you are looking for a snack/meal with your beverage). The café is a good size and doesn’t feel claustrophobic. It’s not as quiet as a library but everyone is respectful of each other, whatever they may be doing. It’s a great place to work, study, or enjoy a nice cup of tea /coffee.

Yikes — how is this place four solid stars? The pros: — EXTREMELY friendly staff, sort of refreshing since it doesn’t feel like the norm these days — Plenty of tables and they have power strips to offer plenty of outlets — I had to set up shop here for a few hours and there were plenty of other people who stayed as long with still plenty of tables for newcomers and they didn’t rush me at all. The cons: — The almond milk latte here is TERRIBLE! It just gives me a better appreciation for how well they do it at Alfred coffee. or even Starbucks is better than this! It was bitter and had a weird taste to it. — The parking lot situation is so strange. I pulled in around 8am and asked if it was truly«1 hour or you get towed» and they said the valet guys come at 10am and would come into the shop and ask if anyone had a car in the lot and to handover your keys. What? Seriously? This is new. the«valet guys» showed up around 11am and didn’t come in. then I saw a tow truck pull into the lot and rushed my butt outside to ask if they needed my keys — yes — OK. Strange, since my car is already parked in a spot, why would you need to move it? Luckily it’s only $ 1.50(they just take your $ 2 and don’t give you change) but seriously. strange!

How did I end up sitting on the only high table with everyone staring at me? Lemme tell you a story. Getting off of work, I wanted a refreshing cup of cold brew so I pulled up my trusty Unilocal app. Nearest coffee shop came out as Bourbon St Café so off I went. You’ll find this gem on the corner of 7th and Vermont. Parking area is very small and your only hope is to get valet for a small fee of $ 1.50 Not bad at all. Ambiance(5 stars) — smooth jazz/lounge music playing, decors that managed to look modern yet cozy, and free WiFi. Perfect for hanging out with friends, studying, or a date. Service(5 stars) — very friendly and moderately paced considering there’s only two people manning the counter. Green tea latte(5 stars) — this was what got my attention. I originally wanted cold brew but when I saw a pic of this, I knew I gotta try it. Not sweet nor bland, it was a perfect cup of hot, green, silky drink. I couldn’t help but take little sips in between taking pics of it. I was sweating a bit considering it was too warm of a day for a hot drink but I didn’t mind. Macarons(5 stars) Blueberry Lemon Carribean Chocolate — amazingly decadent. $ 2.25/piece but so worth it. Crisp on the outside but melts in your mouth once you bite in. I love the chocolate more than the blueberry lemon but both are good, regardless. Cold brew(2 stars) — I was excited to try this but unfortunately it did not deliver. Bad news, it just didn’t live up to the cold brew I had in NY. Good news, they have more coffee options to try. Anyway, so here I was at the corner, taking pics of my drinks and people watching, right? 3 to 4 tables of people studying, 2 tables with couples on a date… I pick up my green tea latte and the saucer rises with it. Before I could catch it, the saucer falls with a loud clatter onto the table. Everybody turns to look at me. Oh, haaaai! *blush*

I started to come to this place since when it first opened. Even though there are a lot of coffee/café in Korea town, this is one of my favorite places to go. It used to be smaller place, but they have expended it, and you can easily find a place to sit and enjoy your cup of coffee. Staff are nice and I like the variety and different brewing methods that they provide. I like their lattes and their almond croissant, and affogato. You have to try their almond croissant and affogato if you haven’t tried them! They have free wifi, so if you’re looking for a place to study/work, this is great. The only downside is that I don’t think there are a lot of outlets. Depending on the time of the day you go, the parking can be valet. However, if you’re here for a pick up, you can just let the valet know and they will let you park while you get your coffee. Food: 4 stars Atmosphere: 4 stars Service: 4 stars Overall Experience: 4 stars

We came here in search of Affogatos. Aside from the fact that the parking situation is literally the worst(valet parking for what basically amounts to a strip mall? Nah, never, no thanks!) this is a nice little coffee shop. It’s pretty quiet in here so if you’re looking to get some work done you probably could accomplish that. Our Affogatos were really good though. Not all vanilla ice cream is created equal when judged on its ability to balance out the sourness and acidity of espresso but whatever ice cream they use here does so perfectly. Bonus points to this fine establishment for brewing Intelligentsia coffee here! If you’re lucky enough to find parking around here, or enough of a sucker to pay for valet, I’d say this is as good a coffee shop as anywhere else in K-town.
