As far as boba goes, this place is my favorite. I usually get carrot juice with boba because I’m cutting calories. It’s still creamy and sweet though so don’t knock it until you try it. Anyways, this location always has a line out the door and parking sucks because it’s k-town.

Hot lavender milk tea. About a million calories. However. It’s my drink and it’s not that easy to find. Well, maybe I just don’t look hard enough.

Boba time on vermont is the best! my favorite is their pistachio. Dont be disincouraged by the long lines. Just chill!!! they are making drinks not food. before you know it your number will be called. Ive the other locations as well but this one is the best one #1

Too packed and hectic at night! Soooooo many people every time I come here. I always order the same thing at boba time which is … Strawberry peach smoothie(reg — $ 4.95, large — $ 5.95): w/or w/o boba depending on my mood. I don’t think you can really go wrong with the smoothies at boba time, but definitely try the fruity ones! It’s super fresh and not too sweet. Only reason I give this place 3⁄5 is because the location is a bit small, way too hectic and crowded, and parking is a pain in the butt!

This place is great! I really enjoy grabbing a boba drink here(friendly service, awesome drink options), but omg… Avoid the after school crowds if at all possible. The table and bar seating is nice if there’s some available, but parking is limited and the line for the order counter goes way out the door during the mid-late afternoons. Nevertheless, I especially enjoy the almond and soy milk options! The coconut frappé w boba was super sweet and delish, AND the pistachio frappé with boba and coffee jelly was to die for. I will definitely be coming back here just for that.

Every time I come back to LA, this is one of the first places I have to go. I just crave this places boba and I realized how much I took it for granted once I moved. I used to play it safe and get standard flavored(green tea, black milk tea) but my friend introduced me to their peanut butter+banana smoothie and now I can’t go back. This location usually has crazy lines and parking is awful though so you might want to come with a friend so they can run in and get the drinks while you wait in your car or something.

Pretty decent boba spot! My boyfriend and I like going here since its within walking distant to where we live. They are fast and the drinks are pretty good, compared to the other nearby boba shops! And best of all there tapioca pearls are always fresh, soft, and chewy! P. S. First topping is FREE!!! Definitely can’t complain about free tapioca balls! Parking– We usually walk here, so we don’t have to deal with the valet parking situation. They share parking lot with Stone Grill, sometime they have valet parking $ 2, if you come here they validate for $ 1!

Apparently It’s Boba Time is a pretty popular boba joint in the LA area. I honestly don’t think it can compare to the plethora of boba shops littered around SGV … at all. I would say It’s Boba Time is a mix of Quickly’s and Tapioca Express on a slightly higher level. They specialize in pretty much everything and anything. If you are craving it, they probably have it. This extensive menu is probably why they have a ton of workers in the kitchen, pushing out drinks like there’s no tomorrow. I feel like they should condense their menu and just stick to what they’re more known for … but of course, my opinion doesn’t matter. This location is also pretty hard to find parking. The lot is tiny, it’s hard to get in and out when traffic is super busy, and if there’s a line out the door … I don’t know if it’s worth it to stop for boba — and this is coming from me, a boba fanatic. It’s quite interesting to see the many different people coming in to enjoy boba. In the SGV, these shops are typically crowded with Asians, but it’s really nice to see all kinds of people at It’s Boba Time. Made me curious as I wanted to see what they ordered, but their drinks were way fancier than I had expected. I ordered a simple green tea with boba. I believe boba was a free add-on … and who can turn down free boba?! Price was not too bad. I think it was a tad bit more than what I would probably pay for the drink, but overall the tea was pretty expected, and also pretty standard of a drink I’d get at Quickly’s. Tea tasted good, but did not taste like premium tea; rather, it was a bit on the artificial side. The boba was cooked pretty well. Super chewy, which I liked. Even with the long line, I had to commend the workers on how quickly they pushed the orders out. Will I be returning here for boba? Ha, no — especially not when I can go to one of the many places in 626 and get tastier drinks. But if I was ever in the neighborhood and the parking lot was empty and there isn’t a ton of traffic on Vermont, I could see myself coming back.

Boba Time has always been my boba place to go to for many years. The company has expanded so much, there are more drinks to choose from, dessert and some pastries are also sold and this location is exceptionally busy. With that said, the quality of boba has of late hasn’t been the Boba Time I came to love. The boba drink is watered-down and the quality isn’t the same anymore. With so much business they get in a day it seems like they don’t care anymore about the outcome of their product. In my heart of hearts do love Boba Time, but I won’t be frequenting here as much anymore.

When I want boba, I head over to boba time! They always make their boba perfectly(chewy and perfect texture). Some places make their boba balls to soft. I love their Thai tea, Taro Milk tea, Coffee and the Half coffee and Half milk tea with boba and sometimes lychee jelly. In their summer; the greentea icecream cup and shaved ice keeps me cool.

I like my boba in shakes as opposed to milk teas. Which I realize is kinda weird. So when I saw through the window that one of their most popular drinks was a cookies and cream shake with boba, I knew I had to go try it. The line was pretty thick which is always a good sign. Regardless the service was rather fast with a lot of employees working behind the counter. Almost looked like in n out with all of the hustle and bustle. I got a large because at the end of the day it was only another 50 cents, so I could share it with some friends. The shake was actually quite good. The boba was a little above average. One of my favorite boba shakes I have ever had, so It’s hard to really have any critique. The one down side is by far the parking situation. Vallet in a super small lot with minimal street parking near by makes it a headache to get to.

Perfect for our pre-roadtrip back to San Diego drinks! I got the peach smoothie with rainbow jelly. Love the selection and the quality. Definitely drank it quickly because melted boba/smoothie is never a good thing… Would I go back? YES. YES. Definitely YES.

One of the best boba’s I have EVER tried. It is perfectly prepared and super soft. It’s Boba Time has raised my standards on how a boba’s texture should be. I usually try different drinks each time I go, but my favorites are Pistachio and Peach Green Tea. The staff is friendly and helpful so if you have any questions or need suggestions they will help you. Also, don’t forget to ask for their stamp card!

Randomly walked in to get boba and found a Hokkaido milk tea that tastes almost like chocolate milk. I’ve been meaning to get other items but I always end up getting a hokkaido milk tea. Boba is also free in your drinks but it also makes your drink much sweeter. I guess it’s a pretty popular spot because I’ve never had to wait for a boba as long I have waited here. There was a line of 6 people waiting to order this last time I went.

Reason for being in la: first vacation with bae ! Drinks : Large milk tea with boba: taste like any other milk teas Regular mango smoothie with boba: definitely wasn’t made with fresh mangos. It had this artificial taste to it that I didn’t like cause I expected better considering that it was on the top picks. Overall: disappointed but not the worst boba place I’ve ever been too! Only came cause we wanted(me) boba and it was something new we haven’t tried in SF!

Had a hard time deciding what to get but thankfully they provided a top ten favorite list. I of course got the milk tea and my husband got the Thai slush. I definitely liked the Thai slush better than the milk tea. The milk tea was alright but I definitely wouldn’t come back for it. The café is small and there was a homeless person asking for money. There is a small parking lot located in the plaza.

Didn’t get to try many boba places while I was in town, but I know I can depend on this one. I usually just get the drinks, I’m not such a big fan of tapioca balls due to the starch and did you know they make your teeth yellow?! –Milk Tea Slush –Thai Milk Tea Slush Both of the drinks were delicious, I could taste the tea in it unlike many other places. Great refreshing drink after a heavy meal in the heart of k-town!

Service is great! You get to try out the different flavors of milk tea before you get it. Never seen this anywhere else so was pretty different in a great way Tried the tapioca tea and it was amazing Eventually got the taro and it was stellar Probably my new favorite boba place Tapioca is just right not too mushy and just the right amount of chewiness. Medium sized tapioca balls Love it Is a must try

4 start boba joint? You kidding me? With horrible parking and subpar drinks, this place is 2 starts to me. My sidekick ordered a iced green milk tea with boba and I ordered a peach green tea with lychee jellies. Both drinks lacked sweetness. My drink was on the tarty side. The place itself is loud with college and high school kids not to mention filthy dirty. Tables had trash left behind with ample workers inside. This place is next to an ayce kbbq in plaza so parking is crowded and tight. Won’t return with better places around.
