I read On Unilocal this place had a drive-​thru so decided to give it a try. The menu board lettering was small. Wasn’t sure what I was reading so I simply ordered a chili burger. As I drove thru to pay, it looked dark, scary, & sketchy. The nice man opened the window took the money and let the window close. I couldn’t see anything inside the window as a distraction so the 5 minutes for the burger seemed like an eternity. Perhaps next time I’ll park and try going inside. Definitely not taking the drive thru again. The chiliburger was average. Nothing bad but nothing that made it stand out from others. However I did like the checkered wrapping on the burger. It gave it a classic look. I would give Betty’s Diner 3.5 stars

This place is a little hidden gem in Lincoln Heights. The menu is pretty basic but everything is always really good and you can’t beat the price. The place is always clean, the employees are nice and my favorite part is the drive through window. The woman will usually have me pull up to the window so she can hand me an actually menu but most days I like to call ahead of time so when I pull up to the window my food is already ready to go. for Betty’s diner.

We found this spot in need of a low cost non fast food breakfast on Sunday. The menu is extensive, they even have soyrizo! No line, they take cards, and the service was so sweet and attentive. The crowd is a mix between elderly locals and hipsters starting to stake their claim in Lincoln Heights. The food didn’t take long to come out. We each had breakfast burritos and the we’re not greasy and weren’t overly big, which I like. Fresh and delicious They played classic soul and oldies from the 50s music. We’ll be back.

Friendly fast service! We go almost every Sunday. My boyfriend gets one of the delicious omelettes and I always get the machaca with a side of the french toast. I’m normally not a french toast person but theirs is awesome!

I was running errands and remembered seeing this place near Little Tokyo. I went through the drive-​thru and ordered hamburger special. It is about $ 5. The hamburger is not the usual flat thing you get from Tams, Toms etc, it does have some thickness to it. One odd thing is they do not have pickles. What place that serves hamburgers doesn’t have pickles? The fries were meh, ditto onion rings. I think they need to check their soda machine because something was off. There is a sign when you drive up that says no public restrooms which actually means restrooms for customers only since the lady informed they do have them. It was a good place if you need a quick bite, definitely better than a McDonalds or Burger KIng and if you do not want to pay Umami prices which is just a few blocks further down.

of course breakfast is yummy here too (the omelettes are pretty good).
but most of all the service is attentive and often times Betty herself will ring you up. :)

Wonderful place! So happy Betty has taken this place and turned it into a clean, happy, yummy food making spot. Everything is good here but my FAVORITE is the Huevos Rancheros. It’s my go to breakfast item and I’m picky about it everywhere I go. Betty’s got it down PERFECT! A little spicy, crispy tortilla, so yummy. Coffee is great diner coffee, place is bright and clean. It’s a wonderful place to have a relaxing meal. I am a regular here now for sure…

This place is awesome! The food is absolutely delicious. The burgers and breakfast sandwiches are my favorite. I’m regular customer of theirs and they are so nice. I hope they will continue to get a lot more customers. I’m so glad we have them in Lincoln Heights it’s so good. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Best new breakfast spot that has a solid dinner program as well; they serve up classics without prevention at best value price points. The space is clean and the mom and pop owners’ love comes across in the fresh food!!! They let me order my own breakfast sandwhich that isn’t even on the menu! Love this place/​you guys; thanks Betty and Osker!

Walking in you hardly notice it’s not Dino Jr’s anymore. No remodeling was done. It even has mostly the same menu with some omissions and changes taped over. I was hoping for a complete re-​vamp with the new name and retro/​diner logo but it feels more like an «Under new management» kind of deal.
The staff was friendly and the food was cheap. Everything was fine, the Huevos ala Mexicana were solid.

Mr. Osker guess what? I did place an order for 2 chili fries I just didn’t have time on my initial review to give every detail assuming logically at the time that anyone would figure this out. Does this being my first review on Unilocal make it invalid? No I don’t think so. Your employee dropped the ball she should admit her mistake and move on Sincerely Victor M. former patron.

Great new ownership, delicious breakfast food. The Lincoln omelette was right on! The chili cheese fries are to die for and there’s a drive thru to fast service to go. The new owners are just starting. They are nice and very helpful and welcoming.
