Denny’s

Raw chicken on my salad and sent it back and they gave me the same salad back with raw chicken Again… Sad story hopes not to get sick…

Denny’s food is Denny’s food. So I’m not here to complain about that.
I’m here to complain about how TERRIBLE the service was. Took us 10 minutes to get cups of coffee and waters, another 10 for someone to take our order. Then around 20 minutes to actually get our food to us. In their defense, there was only one cook, but I have a feeling that’s the norm.
Didn’t have wifi, which they said they did. When asked, the waiter just pointed and said its in the front (rude). No smile, hello, goodbye, just straight to business.
I went to use the bathroom and there was also a GIANT turd in the toilet which Wouldn’t flush. And there was no toilet paper. And it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned all day.
Needless to say, worst Denny’s I’ve ever been to. I’ll go somewhere else from now on.

Definitely not recommend this location I got there there was no one that helped me when I walk in waited for 10minutes and never got a greeting or even someone to help me left and it seems like no one eve noticed.

You’ve earned the dubious distinction of serving me the Worst Steak I’ve ever consumed in my XX years of living on this planet.
No words can describe the horror and utter disbelief I felt observing this culinary travesty.
I was going to take a picture of this steak as a momento of my culinary travels but ultimately decided not to because I was afraid it was going to break my camera.
Oh my Lord, please forgive the chef that night who created that monster and admit him inside the Gates of Heaven for he not know what he do.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This place is disappointing, the food wasn’t all that and service really sucked. I’ve been there before and it was never this bad until today. Never coming back here again. Our waitress Lizz looked like she wrote down our order, but still got it wrong. We had to keep asking her for what we ordered. I never had a bad experience at Denny’s before and most are OK places, but not this location. Don’t ever go there. If you do, make sure you NEVER get Lizz as your waitress and you get someone else.

Horrible Horrible Horrible.
Dirty, messy, service sucks. On a regular day we wouldn’t even stop here, but we were heading to downtown and I was starving.
My son had to get up and ask for a straw the waiter would just leave. He then came back and while listening to us, left a random drink on our table, a drink that wasn’t ours and was already half way finished.
Plus he got our order wrong. Just BAD!

Service was slow food wasn’t all that so many people working here but slow we ask for boxs to go but no bags to go not good

Not the worst Denny’s in the world… that’s the one in Lebec… but this one is pretty weak, especially considering what a delight it was back in the ‘80s and ‘90s, the perfect place to end a night of dancing. Usually a place like Denny’s is consistent, but there are a few that make an effort (Agoura) and then a few that don’t give a damn. The infamous Downtown Denny’s, right across from Union Station and the city archives, has fallen into the latter category. I’ve been by a few times and tried to give them the benefit of a doubt, but overall the service is indifferent, the food is often cold, and the coffee could compete for the worst in LA. At least they don’t waste food… most restaurants would throw out those fries that were sitting in unheated oil for hours. Well, eventually there’ll be a skyscraper sitting here with an unaffordable 5-​star restaurant, so enjoy it while you can.

This restaurant is literally almost underneath the freeway. Some kind of construction machinery is taking up half of the parking lot. Inside, the restaurant looks, dated and unkept. However, if you are in the mood for a standard toast-​egg-​bacon-​hashbrowns breakfast, this is the place. It was so perfect in the simplicity, I just about inhaled it. We sat at the counter so there wasn’t a wait to be seated. I was dropping off a friend at the Flyaway which is located just across the street, and we had a spare 20 minutes so it was perfect for breakfast. Friendly staff too.

This location will never disappoint. It’s bad food and bad service ²⁴⁄₇. I give them 2 stars because I was hungry but this place is an excellent appetite suppressant. And I can’t be bribed with a pancake puppy sundae.

First time at this location:
I’m not going to describe the food because, frankly, it’s Dennys. You know the food. But the service is horrible when server would rather listen to some girl complain about the new guy she’s seeing that begged her to give him a chance and things are already turning sour. Yes I heard the story. And yes, the server is still there even though I’m ready to pay the check. So I guess I’ll go to the front and do it myself.

Horrible I needed to charge my phone and was told no even though I pled my situation of just needing to be charged for a few minutes so I could board the amtrack to take me back to my home in Reno. Even offered to pay explained that I was not from LA and just had to take a lyft from Anaheim to make it home to Reno Nevada. I understand now that this Denny’s is crack head central or thugs who just got out of jail but damn should help out every now a then. Soda was good so one star

Normally, i come in the day time. But surprisingly this place was clean service was average. Server was nice and communicated well with us.

I live 5 min away from here so sometimes it seems like a good idea for a late breakfast. I have had good service ¹⁄₁₀ times I’ve been here. I regret coming here every time I do. They usually have a lot of more customers than employees at a time. which explains the bad service. They take forever to take your order, to bring your drinks, and food. They usually always bring out our food in separate times, were someone finishes their meal before someone else even gets their meal. I need to warn you on the less than average type of service they offer. Other than the service the food is edible. I’ve only had burned waffles once and a hair in my food once. All the other times though the food was like any other Denny’s.

Walked in with 2 friends and weren’t greeted at all to be seated. So we took the liberty to seat ourselves. After a 10 minute wait (and the server saw us seat ourselves) we proceeded to go and grab our own menus. We started to engage in conversation with neighboring tables and they had been waiting for 20 minutes themselves. I personally waved to the waitress and she looked at us and walked away towards the back. At that point we got up and walked out. Poor service all around.

This is your average Denny’s, food was good and customer service was nice. Food took a while to get to us but that was because this location gets VERY packed.

This is a horrible Denny’s, the service is horrible, the food either comes out fast and it’s old, or slow and its cold. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Such rude servers and the manager doesn’t care about feedback at all. He looked annoyed at my complaints.
Server never brought anything we ordered right or at all

Very quick service food came out in less than 10min. 2 grand slam breakfast and ½ order of nachos. Out server Nang nice Asian lady but rude comments. «Op so much food for two people big check»

Hadn’t been to this location in a few years and not much has changed. It’s convenient to Union Station so you get to see a lot of people comin’ through. On the day of my visit there were hardly customers in the place and it was a long wait to get waited on and even then the waitress did not come back to our table to refill our coffee. I like being left alone to enjoy my meal but this was ridiculous! Also, we asked for more napkins and the guy at the front who could have just handed them to us, turned around and shouted to the waitress, Table 1 wants napkins! Are you serious?! Also, the ladies bathroom was an absolute disgusting mess, and one of the stalls was out of service leaving it to just one «working» stall.
At least my burger sort of made up for the other stuff. It was cooked to perfection!
