Delicious food. The severs are kind and attentive. We got the yellow curry and combination fried rice. Thai ice tea is refreshing. We ask them to change the channel on the tv and they were cool about it.

DONOTEATHERE! We ordered the cream cheese Ragu wontons and calamari. Three of us that ate the items got stomachache. The cream cheese did not even taste or look like cream cheese. Do you not eat here unless you want stomachache for food poisoning

3.5 stars. I’ve been to Thai Thai, the former place, and while I waited in the truck, ready for the quick getaway, as my more attractive conterpart went in… all I really have to base this particular review on is the food itself and the ease of ordering. We ordered on line… No difficultly with understanding accents, or worrying we ordered the wrong thing. The food were portions we expected, and we both thought the flavors were spot on tasty. I liked Thai Thai alright, and would have given it 3 stars… I thought the food was better, and ordering was easier… So there you go.

I ate there for the first time today since the new management took over and I give it a very positive rating. Since I was dining alone I only had a bowl of soup, the Tae Chew Noodle soup. The soup came in a large bowl chock full of al dente rice noodle, bbq pork, fish ball, ground pork, and shrimp. The broth was really tasty. I just added a bit of chili in vinegar and some chili in fish sauce and I was more than satisfied with the whole deal. Good stuff.

We really like this place and the employees/owners but we may have to start looking elsewhere going forward because it takes far too long for delivery. We are not far away and we don’t order a lot of items, nor do we order items that take long to make… But every time we order delivery it takes forever and this last time we ordered was the worst. I called to inquire when it had been an hour since our food was placed. When I called the first time there was no answer. They finally answered on the second call and when I mentioned my name and order they said«oh yea! Ummm… 20 minutes!» Sounded like they forgot all about us. So, basically it took over an hour and a half to get Fried rice, pad se ew and soup. We order Thai delivery not just because we like the food, but because it’s typically quick to make and get to your door… But not here sadly :(

Great prices, good food. Nice servers. Clean place, alittle dull but it’s still great! I love the pad Thai, pad see ew with tofu, seafood soup, and fried rice!

It’s great! They use really high quality meat and ingredients. Everything tastes like you’re at an expensive restaurant, but the prices are amazing. Even the orange chicken(a dish I don’t usually order because it’s usually really fatty and taste like chemicals to me) is made with real orange zest you can taste in every bite. My favorites are the Tom Ka Kai soup and the Prig King. Give this place a shot. It’s really a hidden gem!

Sooooo much delicious food. The egg rolls are so crisp and tender, and the Kua Kia lasts me for days. They give you a ridiculous amount of food for the price you pay and the staff is so sweet and nice. I always leave stuffed with leftovers. Parking is not bad either. There’s a couple of places in their lot, and always a few good spots on the street. Definitely will be back! Yuuum!

Ordered delivery. Had the Pad Thai with Shrimp(extra $ 2), got 2 shrimp in the whole dish. Really? Also had the broccoli with beef, supposed to have a sauce(no sauce). Sorry very bland and chewy. Will not be a repeat customer.

Loved the food last nite! Authentic, not sweet syrupy Americanized Thai food. Even the kids loved it Panang Curry — Asked for hot, It was fabulous. Green Curry — Really good and light with chicken Calamari — crispy even though it came home. Very impressed. Fried Catfish — Lovely flavors Brown rice — which was reddish, great flavor Pad kee Mau — Loved the veges and noodles. Beef was a little dry Thai Tea — Sweet, cold and refreshing Ginger Shrimp — Only thing so-so Great portions, great price, on time delivery. So far the best in NELA.

Ordered from Bangkok Grill Saturday night and thought the food was great. We ordered our favorites, Green Curry, Pad Woon Sen, and Pad See Ew and thought it all tasted great. Even better than some food we’ve had in Thai Town! Good portion size and fast delivery. Will order again!

We tried this place for the first time this evening and ordered delivery. This spot use to be called Thai Thai, and it was gross and dirty, so we had our fingers crossed that Bangkok Grill was totally new management, chef, etc.(turns out they are! Thank heavens) The man over the phone had a very hard time taking down my address(language barrier I’m sure) I spent quite awhile saying it over and over and over. Anyway the food showed up 20 minutes later so that was cool. I ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice which had chicken, shrimp, egg, raisins(or some variation of it), green onions, and cucumber. It was ok, kinda tasty. but didn’t knock my socks off. My fiancé had the Shrimp Panang Curry with brown rice. I tasted his and it was pretty good, better than my dish. Packed with flavor. For the price you really can’t complain. The food is fresh and basically decent in terms of taste. Because they’re located just a few minutes from my house I’m sure we will try out a few more of their dishes :) UPDATE: ordered the shrimp curry with peas, carrots, lemon grass, and bell pepper. BOMB. For the price, this place is great! We’re keeping Bangkok in rotation

Every time we go, the food never fails. Today I ordered take out and they got everything right! Down to my special order and they gave us a little more egg rolls than we ordered. They’re especially nice as well.

I’m as lazy as it gets to write reviews. But this place deserves a really good one. I work near this restaurant and have ordered a couple of times. The food has been great so far… Tonight they amazed me with the great service on their delivery. I ordered a soup and a noodle plate. My order was a little confusing because I ordered the all day special. FYI when you order this online, it could be a little tricky. A really friendly guy delivered the food promptly. After he left, I realized it was beef instead of pork. I called and they sent the driver back with a new plate that serves a family of 8. It was huge !! Not only was the food awesome, but the service was outstanding. Will keep ordering this yummy food.

Goddamnit. So the food is still good but last time I ordered they forgot my drink. This time they took an hour and a half and didn’t include the shrimp on my salad. Bummed.

Yummy & spicy! I noticed the grand opening sign the other morning & being a Thai food lover, decided to give it a try. Everything I had was so flavorful! I can’t wait for this LA heatwave to end, so I can I try my fav soup, tom yum goong. Update: Ok, we’ve dined here about 5 times now. This place is delicious! Finally had soup last night & again, BG did not disappoint. Dishes I’ve had: tofu panang curry, shrimp salad, tofu pad kee mao, spicy shrimp soup. All super tasty!

First time here with the new owners. Décor has been paired down, new paint, tables and chairs. Had a spicy beef ball soup with noodles and was just right for me, and I like lots of heat and strong spices — a Thai version of Phở. The also have a version with lots of various meats. Manuel had a spicy grilled chicken salad that he recommended. Looking forward to exploring the menu.

Atwater Village rejoice! I think we may finally have a good Thai joint. We ordered the spicy shrimp salad, panang curry and the pad see ew special with pork skewers. Large portions, inexpensive and most importantly super flavorful. This place is muuuuuch better than the thai place that occupied this spot before. I know some people liked the eclectic décor but at the end of the day their food just wasn’t that great with some calling it downright horrible. Now we have a clean, bright space with minimal décor. I think I prefer it this way. Most importantly this place has a A rating and the food is delicious. Their spicy shrimp salad might be one of the better ones I’ve ordered in LA. For a restaurant that just opened a week ago, everything seemed to be running fairly smoothly. I look forward to trying more of their dishes in the coming weeks. Warning: This place might be the spiciest ‘medium’ we’ve ever ordered. Usually we ask for the spice cart and pile on. Not here. Strange that there are two old reviews for a place that just opened at the end of August 2015.
