Really … I eat so little fast food that perhaps I am not the target audience … If you are a big fast food eater just skip past my review but I feel there is SIMPLY no need for food to be this bad. Beans taste like they were in a can for 100 years, steak overcooked and dry, salsa watery and without complexity or nuance, staff as uninterested as you might expect at a taco bell. With Places like Chipotle and Poquito Mas and Wahoos Tacos I think it is safe to have slightly higher expectations than this. I end up here once every couple of years — I always regret it.

This location is the worst of all the Baja Fresh out there. The steak and shrimp burrito was literally salsa and bits and pieces of a few shrimps and beef.

Yes, they have several non fried fish and shrimp options that I appreciate! And of course chicken for my man. And the salsa bar makes it all good! Mango salsa! Sundays we do the Atwater Village Farmers Market and this shopping center, although the parking lot sucks, is a quick jont over for some good tacos!(Best Buy too!) Clean space. Quick and Friendly service. They give you chips! I remember Baja Fresh from when they made that good«salad» in the big shell and put the grilled green onions on top. I miss that, but I’m glad they have fish! Still lovin’ Baja Fresh after all these years!

This place sucks. Nachos were alright. But every time I order a burrito wth steak meat it’s gross. The meat is nasty. Can’t even chew it. Soo gross. I’m so angry at myself for coming here again

Good food, good prices. A favorite of my Los Angeles friends. I cleaned my plate and looked around with a contented look on my face. Fast food for sure but well done. If you want a comparison, Chipotle is good large servings-perfect for a college town. Baha Fresh is reasonable, healthy Southern California portions with superb fresh flavor.

I am very pleased with the service. I ordered 2 cartering fajitas order and 20 tacos at 9:40am. I arrived at 10:56am, I didn’t know they opened until 11:00. The guy was very nice and opened the door for me to wait inside and gave me a free drink. They walked my big order to the car. I was amazed what a great service I received from them. I am a happy customer.

I’ve been to other Baja freshes but this one stands out. Great friendly people serving you and the build your own burrito is genius. This one has a certain vibe that other locations should try to replicate.

I finally decided to write a review because a couple just walked out after saying«do you smell that?» This place is okay. I only come here on rare Sunday mornings with my family when we need to grab something quick. We always arrive at opening and it ALWAYS smells like a sewer. ALWAYS. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and guess that it’s from cleaning but that just doesn’t cut it. I make it to lots of restaurants at opening. None of them smell like a park restroom. For some reason, my dad always wants to come back here so, for his sake, I do. If it were up to me, I would not return to a place that soaks my food in sewage scent. Two stars because the food is fine.

Oh so bright! If there’s one really positive thing I could say about this Baja Fresh is the cleanliness of this particular location. Clean and bright with ample seats and tables to accommodate the diners, however, their service need much improvements, no, I’m not talking about the time it takes for your order to arrive(uhm, ok a bit on that too) but primarily the staff. To give a smile is free, being courteous and even slightly pretending to be happy is free, I would feel really sad if emphasis on great customer service has totally been left out in the Baja Fresh Manual. Let’s talk food, The complimentary chips of course was very much appreciated, a selection of salsa from Pico de Galo, Salsa Verde and regular, hot & medium are available for the picking. The Chicken Fajita was actually really good, the chicken was tender and has a generous amount of side dishes per serving, the Savory Pork Carnitas bowl is okay but nothing special. Overall I believe this Baja Fresh is okay with a lot of room for improvements, with such a location and an enormous foot traffic, I sincerely believe that with a few tweaks in service, they have the potential to be a fast food above the rest.

Compared to Chipotle and King Taco this place sucks. The burrito was too big and it was filled with beans and rice. It was a Mexicano and it’s not even spicy. As I was eating it, I noticed that the burrito had a hole. Beans and rice fell out of it. They didn’t wrap it well. Also, the chicken was old. Never again. Go to Chipotle. It’s way better.

I’ve been coming to this branch off/on for about 9 years now… mostly off. In my opinion the food lacks quality, presentation is not according to the menu and service is chaotic at best. Ordered a veggie burrito that came w/o grilled veggies(as listed on menu). So a veggie less veggie burrito??? Chicken burrito was a mess… pinto beans straight out of a can, dry chicken and a tortilla that wasnt properly folded so the ingredients came out when unwrapped. My order sat on counter until some chips were made and when I got home 5 minutes later both burritos were luke warm at best. Between this place and the Mimi’s across the street the corner of Los Feliz and Revere ave. is one I’d avoid for food. .

I had a shrimp burrito with black beans and veggies and it was packed nice and fat. Pretty good service, clean location. I’d go back.

Compared to chipotle this place sucks. I ordered a chicken burrito that was mostly beans, a little too spicy and not much chicken. Donna had a tostada that had a tablespoonful of guacamole, too many beans, a tiny tomato and a lot of lettuce!

So I have been to several locations this month. All three have been horrid. Tables were sticky and not wiped down. The food itself was horrible. The rice and beans tasted 1000 years old. I had shrimp tacos and it was not cooked properly. Umm yes its Baja style food but the Mexican Banda music was just as horrid as the food. I still haven’t found one yet that I like … Ohh and to top it off all three locations managed to fuck up my order. I mean really after three times of trying to get it right i give up!

This is our first time here and I am so displeased that I made an account to tell you about it! The manager was so rude to my fiancé… How? She looked at her like she was dirt, side eye and all! I am sorry we are not your conventional clients(purple hair and green hair… Gender neutral) but we are paying customers that expect service with a smile. Not a dirty look!

Stopped at this no-frills joint for quesedillas and chips for my kids who needed to eat right that instant or they were going to DIE, I tell you. Place was fairly large, and had enough seating for us. I got a diet coke. It hit the spot. Kids were happy, happy, happy! So was I.

This location is great. Never had an issue with the food or service. This location hooks up extra chips which is always good. –Cheers-.

You know, Baja Fresh has been around forever and while their menu is pretty basic, they really execute well. The restaurants are always clean, the food is reliable, and the salsa bar is terrific.(The smoky Baja salsa is SO good!) At this particular location, right by Costco, I’ve had a pleasure of interacting with the manager a couple of times(she was working behind the counter). She could not be more friendly, and always says«no problem!» when my boyfriend puts in his special order for the fish tacos with tortillas, on a bed of cabbage. So: five stars for you, Baja Fresh. You’re a great stop for fast, fresh Mexican food.

This a long over due review. The service is quick unless you order something«Diablo Style». I like the supersized green cups, and the green tea is refreshing. The salsa bar is always well-maintained and fully stocked. They have Cholula! The service is awesome. I left my Iphone at BAJAFRESH! I went home completely forgot about it. I figured the battery was dead in my purse. I tracked it via GPS and located it eventually. An employee was walking in in the wee hours of the AM, and I described my Iphone case and was returned my IPhone. I lOVE Baja Fresh. Employees are Honest and Hard-Working people.
