This place is the worst. The food is «mediocre» at best, and the service is horrible. To make matters worse, while I went refill my drink, I was up for less than a minute, and two customers went to my table and removed my food so they could sit down, and put my tray on another table’s chair. I spoke to the manager, and she put the blame on me, because I «didn’t put the little card on the table»(The card that says«Be right back» was hidden behind the napkins) Really? I have a bad dining experience, and they blame me, the customer? I will never eat their disgusting slop again, and they will never receive ANY of my business again. I would say that you should AVOIDTHISPLACELIKETHEPLAGUE If I could give them negative stars, I would.

I inadvertently walked in on MLK day and stayed because the manager who happened to be walking by greeted us with such passion for the food that I decided to stay and try it out. I am glad that I did. She was right everything was delicious, well organized, Clean and fresh. Thank you!

Cheap, healthier, and all you can it. Doesn’t get much better than that. Love this location. Everything is tasty and full of flavor. I find a lot of buffets tend to have bland food, but not here. This is monthly stop for my boyfriend and I, sometimes even a weekly stop. Love it. Staff is great too, all super friendly and fast! P. S. If they have the tomato bisque soup out, get some, it’s freaking delicious.

Having just moved to North Hollywood, I love that we found this location instead of going to the Porter Ranch one all the time. Looks different inside than your usual Souplantation, more of a «cafeteria» feel than restaurant, but I love it! More bright and lively inside, and the staff were all friendly. I think the foods were definitely being stocked up and the areas kept clean as opposed to the other locations I have been to. This will be our go to location from now on.

This is my location now and every time i come, everyone who works there is so absolutely friendly. Just love that. 2 things they can change/improve: They always always always overdress their Chinese Chicken salad. Love that salad but now i no longer eat it… easy on the dressing please. Put back cauliflower on your veggie selection.

After shopping at Costco, I sometimes come here to eat lunch. I love to eat here, bc they have salads, pastas, soups, baked potatoes, breads, pizza breads, etc… This location is a lot smaller than the one in the Beverly Connection. Free Parking!!!

Food was pretty good. Mostly fresh. Staff was very kind and the line seemed long but moved quick. It’s pretty small compared to most souplantations. But overall not to bad.

I love coming here! Most of the food here is delicious — my favorite is the broccoli chowder which they only have a few times a year. They don’t make everything fresh everyday so it’s a hit or miss… They just heat most of the food up for the next day. Muffins are always fresh though(at least all of the times I’ve ever been here) Service here is awesome. They have nice workers walking around making sure you have everything you need and taking away dirty plates… Don’t come here if you’re looking for meat because you’re not going to find any. The most meat in one meal here is in the chicken noodle soup. Easy to find parking!

This is my favorite Souplantation because it is so bright and lively, and have fantastic service. My most recent visit was on Halloween. We were greeted by employees who were dressed in the Halloween festivities and made our initial greeting a happy one. The salad selection here are the same for all the other chains. My favorite being the Broccoli salad, along with all the other salads. The cashier was prompt and friendly when I was paying for the meal with the coupon. The hostess who seated us, was also very friendly. The soup selection was overall, a nice variety. The employees were prompt in replacing soups that were out and making sure the area was wiped clean. They are also on top of things to make sure all the bowls were refilled. The great thing about the holidays is that special flavors represent these holidays. Souplantation has pumpkin spice ice cream! It may not taste like Starbucks pumpkin spice latte, but if you can imagine it and ice cream soft serve format, it’s creaminess is delicious. You must try some before the flavor goes away. The service here is amazing. I barely finished my soup and scooted the bowl over to the side, it was quickly whisked away by a server! Plates, bowls, and utensils work quickly picked up. What more can you ask for? It might’ve been just our server who was superquick and has a good eye, or maybe that’s just how they train them, I am glad they are there. Overall I will definitely be dining here again.

One thing fantastic about this place are the employees. Meeting their manager sorry forgot her name(female Hispanic), it makes sense. When management is strong n kind, it shows in the staff. I went on a busy night n the food was constantly fresh. Although my favorite tomato basil soup is never menu, more blue berry muffins please!. oh before I forget pumpernickel bread? Ok. Aside from the food, I’d like to recognize an employee by the name of T, he buses n I look at his endless pile of food/plates/cups/bowls. …most people would look miserable… n he is sooo NOT. He looks so happy n grateful. I felt the positive energy. That’s a priceless employee. As a former manager, positive feed back is just as necessary. He’s a keeper. I’ll be back. Thanks for taking care of us.

This is a pretty good 3.5 restaurant. I mean, when you get to compose your very own salad with all the components right in front of you to do so, you know you are about to create the best tasting salad of your life! And everytime I come here, that’s exactly what I do. So good. The soups are always really good. It’s usually hard to decide which one you are gonna try first and then which one are you going to get out of your cozy seat for, for a second round. My case is the clam chowder, tomato soup(when available), and cheddar broccoli potato soup(just tried it). You can also never go wrong with their baked goods. The focaccia breads are always so good, the cornbread is delicious, and the blueberry muffins are incredible soft and sweet. You don’t have to do this next step but if you add the maple butter to your muffins… wow. Only complaints: can’t do any pasta dish right here. Always so bland. Always. And the dessert section of the restaurant is always sad looking, dirty, and not worth the stop. I do enjoy coming here and thanks for always hooking it up with the coupons!!! «I’ll be ripe back»

My gf & I always enjoy the food here. Especially after a weekend of food binging. This location is very convinient since it’s in the same lot as Best Buy, Costco, Toys R Us, Starbucks, Mimi’s Café to name a few. The place can get very crowded during peak hours usually 5pm-7pm just so you know. The staff has always been pleasant here. There is also outside seating for when you want to enjoy your greens under the sun, or a warm evening Don’t worry there are shades to cover you from the hot sun. Salad choices consists of seasonal pre-mixed the likes of Ceasar Salad, Chinese Salad, Seasoned Spinach Salad. You can always make your own salad concoction with the many choices of vegetables, croutons, crunchy noodles, etc. Lots of dressing choices, Thousand Island, Italian, Balsamic Vinagrette, and Ranch. Soups are seasonal, but they always have Clam Chowder(my favorite!) Chicken Noodle Soup(chicken bits are breast & ginormous!) They also have pasta menu that also changes seasonally. They always have two pizza choices also. Drink selection they have Strawberry Lemonade, Acai Green Tea, Lemonade, Water, Soda dispenser, Milk, & Coffee. For desserts theyhave cookies, brownies, apple pie, fruits, Chocolate & Vanilla sundae. So remember to pace yourself, chew, eat slowly, & just enjoy the all you can eat salad buffet whether you’re alone, or with friends & family.

Two stars… Cause if your eating along and get up, they will clean out your table quick. I guess the cards on the table are non significant. This is not the first time it happends, so it really sucks when it happened again. Tip: Keep on eye on your stuff

Decent place to find a variety of soups and veggies, great chow-down buffet type set-up, convenient location, and kid-friendly booths — I’m sold. There’s ample parking and it is next to Toys R’ Us, Starbucks, Costco, Mimi’s Café. the list goes on. It’s no wonder we keep on going back again, and again, and again. It’s very family friendly, and you see kids running around all the time — makes us feel comfortable chowing down some meals over there. Writing about it makes me think about their soups. My favorite soups are: clam chowder(obviously — they have a good mix of potato, bacon, clam, and maybe even basil), cream of tomato, fiery something(a mix of vegetables — very delicious), cream of mushroom(they don’t always have this, but it’s a treat when they do). You can find coupons basically everywhere — online, if you register with their site, they normally give you coupons for $ 8 – 9 per person with drink. Or, if you buy Sunday papers, it’ll work too. I especially like this location because, well, it’s the first one that I have not yet found a dirty soup cup(knock on wood). I’ve been to the one in Westchester and Pasadena, and I discovered that you really have to be careful of the one in Westchester(I’ve found at least 3 dirty cups that were not well-cleaned). The Pasadena location has upgraded to white cups, but not sure if that’s a good idea as there are stain marks. Given the volume of people that visit here, I’d say this is really good. Will definitely come back again.

Every Souplantation seems to serve the same food, and I can pretty much bet whats going to be on the buffet. They don’t serve a lot of meat. The only meat I saw while was there, was the pepperoni on the pizza. And the clam in the clam chowder. Its still a good way to fill up on a lot of veggies and pasta. I would have given it four stars, but I took off one star due to some rickety floor boards. I put my meal down at my table, and went to go get an iced tea. As I came back with my tea, I nearly tripped over some of the wooden floorboards — and all they had done was throw a rug over the boards that had come undone. Very dangerous. Still, a good restaurant with friendly employees. When I asked about some of the ingredients in a dish, one of the guys went running back to ask the cook about it. Lots of parking in the surrounding mall. But they just need to get repairs done to their building to make it safer.

For what it is… Souplantation is a fun experience. If you are looking to eat as much soup, salad and sides than this is the place for you. The price is reasonable and there are almost always coupons available. Their broccoli salad is always great and I always load up on that. Chicken soup, clam chowder and chill are solid standards. The specials can be up and down, usually veering on the down. Their garlic bread is usually solid. Their warm pasts and mac & cheese is generally meh. Overall, there aren’t any homer runs here but if you want to eat a tad«healthier» this is a good option.

There are lots of buffets in this great nation, But few are quite like the ones at Souplantation. There’s a lot of lettuce and a whole bunch of soup, You can eat there alone or with a big group. You get a cafeteria tray and you walk the line, And normally that process works out just fine; But the one thing that is an absolute must, Is keeping the place clean and the tables bussed. The food is just fine and the atmosphere’s good, It fits just fine into the Atwater neighborhood; I don’t want to complain and be all picky, But the buffet serving spoons were nasty & sticky. The caramel pump was busted which spoiled dessert, But having less calories probably didn’t hurt. All in all my lunch there was average at best, But I save less than three starts for places I detest!

My favorite place when I’m hungover, but not TOO hungover…(otherwise it’s delivery baby). I always have a sweet coupon. Trick is to get there a little before 4 so you can get the lunch price. And still be there when they start serving the lava cake. When they have the lemon lava cake my whole life stops and I come running. That lemon lava cake tastes like an orgasm. I’m thinking about it right now… Oh man I gotta go.
