So, I used to love Z pizza and ordered from the belmont shore store many times. Tonight I ordered again. What happened to them??? The service is terrible and tonight we had food delivered and when I opened the box it looked like it had been dropped on the floor and then dumped upside down back into the box. We didn’t eat it because it was obvious that it was dropped. They offered me a discount on my next pizza. Right :-(

Bad service. I went to z pizza specifically for their gluten free pizza and the girl didn’t make the pizza gluten free!!! This was the whole point of coming and it took 20 minutes to make the incorrect pizza. Disappointing.

Be glad these knuckleheads don’t work for you. New Year’s Eve we called at 6:30 for 2 pizzas to be delivered. They said(as usual) about 45 minutes. At 8 o’clock we called to inquire about the order. They said they didn’t deliver it because they ran out of pizza dough. They did not say why they did not call to tell us.

I waited 1 hour and 10 min to receive a nasty pizza with spoiled pepperoni. The pizza made my kitchen stink, the whole thing went in the dumpster. I called zpizza I got a quick refund.

Really bummed! Ordered a Greek Pizza online and added $ 11. Of extra meat n Veggies. Drove home and discovered only a pizza of the extras I ordered! Paid $ 35(including tip) for a major disappointment! I was craving a good Greek pizza with extra meat! but got a basic meat n veggie pizza.

There is a reason they have a low rating. While I may enjoy there pizza, their customer service is very questionable! When they have a 3 mile delivery radius, and they refuse to deliver 1.9 miles because«they are too busy» leaves me feeling like a very unwanted patron. I guess I will give another business my money, who will deliver to the radius they claim to service, no matter how busy they are, that’s why you have a delivery radius

First time here. Excellent pizza but the two people working are arguing and being obnoxious. I can’t STAND it when workers in customer service can’t keep work problems behind closed doors. I may or may not come back, which is too bad because I enjoyed the food.

We order Z Pizza at work in Irvine and it’s actually good. This 2nd street location… should have listened to the reviews. Pizza showed up soggy, the crust wasn’t cooked long enough and tasted like raw dough. Also, their online ordering a bit confusing as far as the sauces, I thought I was requesting extra sauce… why would i request the same sauce it comes with? When I phoned them to make them aware of the horribly made pizza and the request for additional sauce, I was questioned and given one excuse after the other. This girl, did however, sound like she was 12, likely right out of high school. Customer service was horrible. Simply wont be ordering from here again. THEYDONOTKNOWHOWTOMAKE A QUALITYPIZZA. Tony’s frozen would have been better and that’s shit. It’s an absolute joke for the price.

I love this pizza and it had always been my go-to but I think this might be the last time I visit. Service is absolutely terrible. I went in for two slices of pepperoni pizza, there was only one old slice in the warmer so I paid for 2 slices and said I’d wait for the next pizza to come out of the oven. I walked out for a few minutes then came back to pick it up– there was the old slice and the clearly fresh baked slice right next to it. I asked if it was the old one and the girl at the register looked at the guy next to her and said no. It’s a total lie. The other slice is still and barely warm. Sadly, I’m not too surprised because this is the kind of service if gotten from them lately. I didn’t wanna make a fuss because I hate doing that but I was pretty annoyed. In the past they used to ask if I wanted the pizza slices warmed if they wwre sitting in the display case but not anymore. I’m a pizza lover and WAS a zpizza lover but not anymore… tossing my stiff pizza slice in the trash now.

This location use to be good. The last two times I ordered from this location the pizzas were sparse. The best consistent Zpizza has always been at the Larchmont location. I avoid this one at all cost!

The only reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because the pizza is always good, but tonight was the last straw for the service. I ordered a pizza for pick up and they said it would be 20 – 25 minutes, no big deal. I go to get the pizza, they forgot to make it. Any normal place would be willing to compensate, they offer me a free bag of potato chips. What a joke. Miss the old owners, way better vibes and service.

The pizza is pretty good and it’s nice they have a gluten-free crust. That being said, the gluten-free crust isn’t always safe for someone with a gluten allergy to eat. My friend was sick for a week after eating a gluten-free zbbq pizza. I gave special instructions to be careful about cross contamination since my friend has celiac. This is the first time this has happen after eating there a couple times successfully. Not sure if we will be back.

Tasted like cardboard. I don’t eat pizza much unless they are the build your own pizzas but this is probably among the worst pizza I’ve had. There weren’t a lot of options for different pizzas. We ended up getting the slices which must have been sitting out for a WHILE. It tasted like it was days old and the crust was like cardboard. Bleh

Really good pizza product as a franchise but this location operates like a 68 ford truck. Inefficient, slow, semi-warm pizza and over priced. Im tired of putting up with the inexperienced service from this location and I’m willing to drive all the way to the 7th st location for a pie.

I ordered my pizza online and it arrived one hour later. I also ordered the pizza with half no cheese, when I opened it the whole pizza had cheese. When I called to let them know the mistake a woman told me they do not do half cheese. Why would there be an option for no cheese on half? When they review the order before they make it I should’ve revcieved a call explaining the no cheese on half could not be accommodated. I finally spoke with another woman who said they would remake the pizza with half no cheese for me. It has been now one hour and a half since I reordered and I still have not received my correct pizza. I will NOT ever order from this zpizza location again.

I like that ZPizza offers gluten-free crusts, high-quality veggies and cheese, and preservative-free pepperoni. In addition to pizza, customers can also enjoy salads, sandwiches, flatbreads, even take-and-bake pizzas for home. My favorite here is the Tuscan Mushroom Pizza: thyme, truffle oil, feta, caramelized onions and roasted garlic sauce give this one a sweet-savory deliciousness! I usually go to the 7th Street location but it was closed on the Thursday night(March 5) that I tried to go there. Things might have turned out for the best, however, because this 2nd Street location does a way better job with the crust. The 7th Street location consistently burns the outer edges of the crust until they are inedible. Fortunately, this location doesn’t and the crust is actually quite delicious. Unfortunately, however, they are not great at taking an accurate order. I ordered a large pepperoni and a large Tuscan, BOTH gluten-free. I made sure to say gluten-free for both, twice. When I got home I saw that only the Tuscan crust was actually gluten-free. Gluten is a sensitivity for me, not an allergy, so I ate the pizza because I was hungry by the time I got home, but I really should not have. If gluten were an allergy, I would have had to trash the entire pizza. Gluten can make an allergic person sick FORDAYS. And pizzas here are not cheap(about $ 21 for a large gluten-free pizza). Also, it’s often easier to call and order rather than going through the excessive steps to order through ZPizza’s website. I’m going to try this place again this week and hopefully, they’ll get the gluten-free crusts right this time! If not, I may have to write off ZPizza as an option, rather than jeopardize my health.

Z Pizza is amaziiiiing we went for the first time a couple weeks ago and just had pizza delivered tonight. First of all I want to say aside from the amazing food, the website to order is awesome it gives you so many ways to modify your order and even the nutrition facts.(I eat a low carb diet) I wanted to have pizza but I just eat the toppings so it allowed me to see how many carbs if I don’t eat the crust! I was pretty excited about that… On another note. The delivery kid(I wish I knew his name) was the sweetest kid/delivery guy we have ever had! I wish we got his name but we didn’t he delivered tonight(9⁄28 at around 7:25 or so.) Anyways keep it up ZPizza you guys stand out from the rest!

I like Zpizza’s pizza, but that’s about it! But for what it is, I will say it is way over priced for the size pie you get. Honestly though, that’s the least of my issues! The biggest problem with this place in the service! The wait time for delivery or pick up is ALWAYS outrageous, and that’s if their driver decided to get out of bed that day to head into work, eventually. There are days I’ll call two, three or maybe four times for them to say«Oh sorry we aren’t delivering tonight.» REALLY?! And you couldn’t tell me that the first time?! Does this establishment even have a manager because, to me, it seems like it’s run by a bunch of 16 year old stoners that MIGHT bring you your pizza in an hour or two. I’d rather drop a notch in quality and grab pizza somewhere else on Second St!

I cannot say this strongly enough… DONOTGOTOTHISLOCATION. The service is, as others have indicated, a joke! The wait times are atrocious and beyond anything reasonable. They tell you it’s because they are busy, but anyone that comes in can see that it’s due to a chaotic and mismanaged operation. On my most recent, and LAST visit, the employees were arguing about who mixed up the tickets, and while the phone was ringing the guy that was supposedly in charge«Dakota» told another employee to IGNORE the phone call because they were already too busy! I couldn’t believe what I heard, but I supposed it made sense considering the caliber of employee working here. While I have had AMAZING pizza and experiences at other Z Pizza locations, this one is like the broken toy that is ignored in the corner of a dark closet. Even after waiting over an HOUR for a pizza that I was quoted would take 20MINUTES for, it was served warm, with chicken that was dry and stale tasting. Now, bad service and bad food is one thing, but when you add in the fact that the staff seems more concerned with fooling around while their customers wait, you have to wonder how is this allowed? Surely, the Franchisee is responsible for upholding certain guidelines, no? If so, a reply to this review would help clarify that point. Perhaps this restaurant is just concerned with fleecing the public out of their money for as long as they can, until we all get smart enough to pass on this customer service blight. I wonder if there is a 2nd Street Business Association and if they care that there is such an unprofessional store on their block. Such a bad… BAD place. Really…save yourself the trouble… STAYAWAY. This place is AWFUL and their employees are a joke. If «Dakota» is the man in charge, they are clearly doomed to ultimately fail as a business. You simply can’t be this bad indefinitely… either change or fail.
