By far the best restaurant in Long Beach! Have been going here since they opened and food is always fabulous and George the owner is the best host and very welcoming! Try the Watermelon Martini Tracy makes — fabulous!

We had the most amazing meal at Nico’s this past weekend. The food and service were beyond good– the pasta special I will dream about until I can get back and twist their arm to make it for me off menu. Ditto for the peach cheesecake. Tracy and John were our servers, made great recommendations and truly ensured we had fabulous service and a fabulous time. We couldn’t have asked for a better evening, and George the owner was very gracious and ensured our dinner and experience were memorable in the best possible way.

I have been coming to Nico’s, as well as others he has been involved with, for quite along time. We have never been disappointed by any of them, with Nico’s ranking as one of the best.

Worth mentioning my review only relates to Sunday lunch/brunch. We went their with a large party and were sat fastened served drinks ASAP. Food was great. I had the short rib hash the meat was very well flavored and the potatoes were also tasty. Others had salads and the breakfast burrito. All enjoyed very much enough to entice us all to come back for dinner. Ambiance is more upscale so wouldn’t suggest for a super casual Sunday early day meal.

Came here for a special occasion dinner. We were seated upstairs in a small side room that contained three booths. While the food was really good, service was definitely lacking. Once we were seated, no one came to take our order for at least 20 minutes. The other two tables in our room were attended to by their servers, however, they did not even make eye contact with us before leaving the room, so we couldn’t even wave someone down. After our server finally came to take our order, she told us that she would be back with bread. This also did not come for some time. We felt ignored throughout the meal, as no one checked on us after our entrees had arrived except for the busboy who asked if we wanted more bread and took away our plates once we were finished. We were disappointed with the service, but the food was good. We liked the three dipping sauces that came with the complimentary bread: habanero balsamic(not really spicy), sundried tomato olive oil, and garlic olive oil. For an appetizer, we ordered the Crab Cake(jumbo lump blue crab with avocado cream and a side of arugula). The crab cake was large with lots of crabmeat. It was nice to have the accompaniment of the salad with this dish. For my entrée, I ordered the Seafood Risotto. This included jumbo tiger shrimp, seared sea scallops, lemon beurre blanc, tomatoes, and capers over a saffron risotto. Jumbo shrimp were served tail-on, and the scallops were buttery with a nice crust. The lemon beurre blanc balanced out the saltiness from the capers and richness of the risotto perfectly. I also tried some of the New Zealand Sea Bass — oven roasted with lemon, fennel, and olives over saffron risotto with caper beurre blanc. I actually liked this dish a little more than mine! The sea bass could have been a little more moist, but other than that, it was delicious! I would come back for the risotto, but I hope that next time the service will be a little more attentive. Tips: — Valet parking only — Restrooms are located on the first floor. There is one restroom that is for women only, and one that is unisex.

Excellent food! And our server /bartender Jackie was wonderful! She gave us great tips for enjoying the local area. Would highly recommend this place for all meals and cocktails if you desire them.

This place has outstanding food. The brussel sprouts are incredible. If you’re a vegetarian that means a lot! My daughter always has the flat iron steak when we come for lunch on the weekend and she loves it(she doesn’t love anything, so that’s a huge compliment). The choice of wines are diverse and not too expensive. The interior is lovely… The service is relaxed but attentive. Need I say more? We love this restaurant. It’s always worth the expense!

I haven’t been here for years and at that time, I was unimpressed. But we went with friends this week and boy have I been missing out. The food and service were amazing. The rest of our party started with poke and said it was delicious. I don’t do raw fish so didn’t try it but from the way it disappeared off the plate, I could tell they loved it. We followed with salads, which were crisp and tasty. And then our party had rib-eye steak, filet mignon and lobster linguini. I had the filet and it was incredibly tender, perfectly cooked and flavorful. The ribeye got rave reviews, as did the lobster. And by the way, that’s a whole lobster! The drinks here were also great. I had the best vodka gimlet I’ve ever had anywhere. And then for dessert, an espresso martini. Honestly, as good as everything else was, I would go back just for the espresso martini. And I will be going back.

The cuisine was hands down delicious. Not only was it picture perfect but it was obviously made with nothing but the finest freshest quality ingredients!!! Our server Cameron was spot on, attentive and observant he recommended a perfect dinner combination for my wife who was unsure what to order his recommendation from wine to desert was exactly what she wanted. We went on Valentine’s Day and luckily walked in even though they were clearly super busy. Every server handled business with absolute profession. Even though it was a «Valentines Set-Menu» the couple next to us insisted that they have more options. Their waitress handled it with ease she put in the special request in and made it happen. She turned an uncomfortable situation around professionally. Our whole experience was awesome every staff member treats you as the only customer in the restaurant. The personal attention makes you feel like an important guest(even though this was our first experience) we will definitely be coming back!!! What a great way to spend any evening!!!

Great food, I had the filet and it was amazing, great service awesome ambiance. Delicious and ice cold martini’s, yes please!!! The valet can get a little backed up but that’s no surprise in Belmont Shore. Reservations are a must at this little hot spot.

Wow! Nico’s is better now than they have ever been… The bar-tenders/mixologists make the best Old Fashion in town. Tracy and Heather will make sure you have the perfect experience at their bar. I had the citrus salad and the braised short rib pizza– amazing:) Thank you, Ladies!!!

This is one of the few establishment that just keeps getting better with age. After more than a Decade in business, Nico’s is showing no signs of slowing down. Their Menu is American Eclectic that is rich in diversity, so even the pickiest of eaters will find something that sparks their interest. When I dine here, I always order the the daily specials. The kitchen is filled with professionals I trust to deliver an amazing meal every time. When it comes to their food, make no mistake it is world class in taste and execution. However, the very large dine on granite bar in the middle of the room, with the comfiest stools ever, is the star of the show. You will find a vast array of all the finest libations the world has to offer and a very inviting cliental that lends the dimension of communication that is essential to any memorable evening. Make sure you check out the large lounge in back and they have a private room upstairs perfect for your next event.

Recently renovated + one of Naples favorite restaurants to the locals! Parking is best when you valet, low price — easy breezy — Excellent service, artisanal libations and swanky ambiance — I love soups and I always get their soup specials. Never go wrong — Had a Wonderful Rack of Australian Lamp Chops and I almost bite my fingers, they were that good!

Great atmosphere. Many locals hang out here, and enjoy their time socializing. Service is perfect, dim lights, art on walls — this all works for me. I have been here four times and food is an adventure in a good sense. Sea bass is my fav. Go n enjoy. Special place on lovely Naples.

This is my 4th time eating here. This is a lovely neighbor restaurant fun and welcoming. I have celiac disease and each time I order our waiter double checks with the chief that the food I have ordered is safe. I have never been ill here. This place is wonderful.

I went here for a work lunch. It has an upscale vibe. I got the sea bass, it was good. Nothing to write home about though. But the best dish by far is the mac and cheese. It is likely the best mac and cheese I have ever had in my life. You must get it if you go here. They also have a cool(small — single party) lounge type room in the back. One decent sized table, four couches, and dim lighting. Kinda cool. However, this is not a place for having fun, being loud, heavy drinking, or anything of the sort. The bar tender does not pour drinks fast, and has a snotty privileged attitude. Older clientelle that will look down on younger customers. All in all, I would not come back here. I would order the mac and cheese to go though.
