We have been dining at or getting delivery from this Romios for 7 ish years. I have given them nothing but positive tips and reviews. Tonight was such a colossal f*** up that I am changing my review. To meet order minimum, I ordered 2 sets of cheese garlic bread & meat sauce. So paid the minimum, paid extra for meat sauce and then tip. I might as well have ordered a regular pizza from ANY pizza joint in 3 zip codes. At least half the bread on each order had no cheese. This is a quite common occurrence over the years there. But it always seemed like such a petty thing that we never called, commented, complained, etc. But having never ordered meat sauce I didn’t know what to expect. But I sure didn’t expect around 5 pieces of ground beef in a small container of marinara. It wasn’t even enough sauce for the bread. When you order just the bread sticks you get 2 containers. Again, I would have let it go but the more than competent delivery driver noticed it wasn’t enough sauce. So he drove back for more. I got a rude phone call from one of their employees saying I had to pay extra for more sauce. And when I commented on the lack of meat she got even more rude. Bla, bla, bla. I have never had such a bad experience — bad food and even more bad customer service. All the little negative things we have overlooked for years plus tonight add up to — never going back or getting delivery from this establishment again. You can judge for yourself, but beware.

The food here is mediocre at best. The service is really slow. We sat at our table for over 15 minutes before being served or even bringing us water. The food took forever as well. At least 45 mins to arrive. The place is messy and seems very disorganized. The salads are made using yellow lettuce that is bitter and not worth eating. Service needs improvement and care and a tad bit better quality as well to the food.

Romio’s pizza is pretty good. If I get a large pepperoni and red onion pizza, it’s about $ 20, which I think is a little pricey. The delivery takes a while(they quote you 45 minutes on average), but it’s always hot and the delivery person is friendly. When I’ve dined in, the service has been really good. I think it’s a little more on the expensive side for what it is, but it’s a decent spot to get your Italian fix on. There certainly are many better Italian spots in the area, but I choose Romio’s often for convenience. The parking lot can get pretty crowded, but there’s ample parking on the lower level. Go online and look for deals they are offering, and if you intend on being a regular, get a punch card. Not a bad place, but could be a lot better and not as expensive.

I ordered food delivered from here yesterday for lunch. I started throwing up 45 min after I started eating it. From timing/symptoms/etc it was clearly food poisoning from this meal. I called them today to let them know. I spoke with the manager and she didnt seem to get why I was calling. She asked if I wanted a free lunch I said no I’m probably not going to eat there ever again I was calling to let you know what I ate in case you had any of it left you may want to throw it out just in case. Her response was«yes we still have that same batch of soup today but I’m not going to throw it away because one person got sick.» First of all, soup should not be reheated daily. It can only be reheated once and then thrown away. Maybe they made it fresh yesterday and were going to throw it away today but after looking up their health inspection reports online I doubt it. It looks as though this place is very unsanitary and doesn’t follow proper food safety protocols since it’s clearly a repeated pattern with the health department. And after a customer complaining of getting food poisoning they clearly don’t care. I hope nobody else got sick! Please don’t eat here, food poisoning is no joke, I’m so glad I didn’t happen to feed any of it to my 1 year old yesterday. I offered her a bite but she happened to not be hungry yet so I ate first.

I order to-go often from here as it’s close to work. I have a love affair with the Romeo’s Famous Chopped Salad. It’s so good, who doesn’t love chicken, salami, lettuce, mozzarella, basil, tomatoes and garbanzo beans. YUM! The half size is plenty big for one person and their house Italian dressing is rockin! Service: I have only ordered out, but they are always great with me on the phone and when I go to pick-up too. Restaurant: Inside is small with limited number of tables and is very clean. Food: — Chopped Salad(we have established I really really like this salad!) — Cheese Bread(super cheesy and delicious.) — Chicken Parma Sandwich — Mango Mousse Cake I always know when I order that it’s going to be quick & tasty.

I tried the pizza here several times, and I loved it. I get the house special every time. I haven’t had anything else but it all looks good. I like the fact that they used fresh ingredients. I will have to try something new next time.

I’ve ordered from here twice. They delivered, and the food was really tasty. The delivery took about an hour, when they said it would be only a half hour. The second time, we were starving and it was 15 minutes until closing. I called anyway, and asked if it was too late to order. The girl on the phone was super nice, and we placed a to-go order. The Panini was pretty disappointing, but I enjoyed the pesto cheese bread. I will definitely be back!

Romio’s is not bad but it’s also not that great. Let me preface this by saying I’m an East coaster. I’m used to a certain standard of Italian food. Since living on the west coast for the past few months, I haven’t met anything that remotely reached that standard. A few nights ago I got takeout here. My boyfriend got a Greek calzone which was huge and several dollars less than the pasta dish I got. My dish was pesto chicken. The chicken tasted like it was soaked in lemon juice. It didn’t fit the dish at all. The more I ate it, the more I seemed to hate it. At first it was all right but was inedible. I proceeded to only eat the pesto/penne and ignored the chicken. My boyfriend seemed to be happy with his calzone and ate all of it. Everything seems just a bit too overpriced. Why is it $ 13+ for one small rectangular box of pasta with a few bits of chicken tossed in? Maybe that’s just how it is here. I don’t know. All I know is that I doubt I’ll be back.

First of all parking is bad. We had to park in the lower lot and walk up. Next — service was not great — we waited and waited but no one came to take a drink order — finally I had to flag someone down. The Pizza was OK — not great but OK which brought them up to the 3 stars. Perhaps I am old fashion and a New Yorker and maybe uncaring but a pizza place with a special Gluten free menu seems strange. My understanding is less than 6% of the population has an issue with it but we seem to be changing everything. Sorry but gluten free does not taste the same.

The delivery guy didn’t bring change. You drove a couple blocks. Sorry bud that’s not worth a $ 10 tip. Bring change next time please. The pizza is tasty, but generic nothing special to it. Really wish there was a Better establishment around here.
