I really like this coffee shop. Coffee is tasty, service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is much quieter and low key compared to the other coffee spots in the neighborhood. You can almost always get a seat and the counter looking out the window is nice. Wifi can be spotty but seems to have improved recently.

Great bar seating for a scenic window view. Incredibly coffee’s at the same price as Starbucks. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Blended mocha is the best! Good coffee and that small town feel. They also have my all time FAVORITE butterhorns. Starbucks used to have these when I was a kid — was very happy to find them again!

Ran into this quant coffee house to get out of the chilly street and was presented with one of the best macchiato’s I’ve ever had. The presentation of the coffee reflected the barista’s love and pride in delivering not just the coffee, but an experience. The food available was limited, but I did stop by in the afternoon so they may have more if you come in the morning. The place is small and was crowded but I asked a group if I could sit with them and they happily let me share their table. If you find yourself at SurLaTable or just around that end of Kirkland, stop in and enjoy a little cup of heaven.

I love the coffee here, and the ham and cheese croissants. The baristas are all really nice people too. Cozy place, a little run down, but worth it.

Caffe Ladro is one of my favorite Seattle places. The coffee is flavorful and their own blend. This place is cute, very Kirkland. Nice décor and friendly staff. I really like the seats out front for people watching. It’s good. Not fancy. Not typical. Just good!

It is a nice little coffee shop with local artists paintings on the wall. It is at the west end of downtown on central. There seemed to be plenty of street parking around the store. The cocoa was good and the service was more than adequate. I would definitely go here again.

This is the best coffee place in the Kirkland shopping district. The coffee always tastes. great, but I’m really a fan of their stuffed croissants. 6 $ gets you breakfast and coffee and friendly service as well.

Visited here on a Sunday morning for a latte and ham and cheese croissant. Coffee was okay. Croissant was horrible! It had been warmed up in the microwave and was chewy and greasy and just not good. We sat by the window and the more I looked around the more I realized how grubby and tatty the place is. I won’t be returning, too many better options in Kirkland.

Fun artwork on the walls, some of it is for sale. Coffee is great, they have loose tea & pastries also. Most recently I tried their pumpkin latte, & they make their syrup with real pumpkin, it was delicious! Much better than Starbucks, which doesn’t even taste like real pumpkin. They’re not close to my home, so I don’t get to go here often, otherwise I’d be there every day. :)

Have to try the Medici Mocha, an orange flavored Mocha of this coffee house. I ordered it everytime I went there. They also have some adorable small pictures from some gallery shown on the wall. A very interesting place.

Nice place to chill and have a coffee. So many coffee places in Kirkland! Head is spinning… Just had the brewed coffee here. I liked it. Wasn’t too sour for me like many of the coffees have been(ie Stumptown and most pour overs). However, my husband thought it was a trifle weak. Definitely on the mellow side. They roast their own beans. Big plus! Not sure that makes them better than average around here though with all of the competition they have. Would have liked more pastry/breakfast variety. We tried the vegan oat cake, croissant for my daughter, and ham and cheese croissant for my son. He devoured his but he isn’t picky. The croissant was distinctly average and didn’t taste super fresh. Oat cake was very good. Lots of fruit and not as dense or sweet as we feared. Probably will be back but not right away.

Was walking to Sur La Table which is next door and decided to stop in and get a coffee The décor is very cute and the art work was very bright and colorful. I was greeted by the barista as soon as I walked in and she was so polite and helpful. They had a few seasonal specials including the lavender honey latte which I decided on. The latte was delicious! Very smooth and springy. I loved the lavender in there and it was worth the $ 5 price tag. I was disappointed in the sweet display case as there were not many options. It was however late in the afternoon so they may have been sold in the morning. I will be back soon :)

I went here for the first time today and was SO disappointed. I only ordered a mocha(easy-peasy) but when I tasted it, it was so awful I couldn’t drink it. It tasted so burnt, and not at all like a mocha, couldn’t even taste any chocolate. To be fair, the barista told me that he was in training, so he probably wasn’t good at making coffee yet, BUT that being said, perhaps he should’ve been being watched and taught better while he was in training so that he didn’t ruin people’s impressions of the shop. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I’ve literally never had coffee this bad before.

Felt bad for the server her but did make her day with my joke. The service was good and she did make sure to let us know, she will help with us soon. So the drinks were good and the prices are excellent and affordable. Love that they have a lot of seating inside and some outdoor seating. So I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Kirkland walks on one of many fine lines, including the Kirkland, middle-aged housewives with cheekbones so high, you can’t tell if they’re mainlining botox or just rigorously using heroin. The day I went, a couple of hours before noon, it was empty. I’m not sure if that means I visited at an off-time or my standards for coffee shops have been misguided by Starbucks. Caffe Ladro is located on a corner of a steep ass hill and a flat road. When I choose to park on the hill and start losing my breath walking up in the blistering cold, is that ambition or masochism? When one of the baristas is using her broken hand to hand me my coffee and change, does that make her Employee of the Year or an example of everything that’s wrong with modernity? When I get my coffee to-go and the first thing that comes to mind is to put it on all modes of social media, does that make me a self-absorbed wagon full of boring crap or an expert on procuring social capital? When I enjoy the feeling of a quad shot of espresso even though I am wide awake, is that an energy boost or am I a closet drug lord? When the male barista smiles at me while he’s making my coffee and it’s normal today to construe gentleman-like behavior as a creepy come-on, am I a dumbass or delusionally confident?

‘Café Ladro’s coffee and music selection are great. It definitely beats SB. Sorry to say… The only thing I wish to be better are the drivers. Walking with a yellow flag to cross the street is not a guarantee. Drivers are driving too fast and not stopping for presidents. They need to stop even presidents are not even half walk crossing yet. I experienced and saw too many close calls. So, heads up.
