I started going to see Sue and Sam about 15 years ago when i was working near by. Just a close place to get my hair cut. Ive been going back since because they treat me well and Sue always does a good job on my hair.
I can get my mostly bald head cut elsewhere for less, but I go to Sue because she knows what I like and i don’t have to explain it to her.
The negative reviews below are amusing, one referred to the employees as a barber, you dont go to a «salon» to see a «barber» — Go to sportclips for a barber.
The other review with racist comments was equally inappropriate.

Have been going here for years. Great place with a great team. Pricing is reasonable and the quality of the staff is great. Professional and clean atmosphere. They have a good selection of products and have always been able to accommodate my crazy schedule.

I’ve been going to pro image salon for 11 years. I trust them to take care of me every time, so much so I’ve kept my loyalty with only them. I’ve never once regretted getting my hair done at this salon. Their customer service is amazing! Susan & Sam are THE sweetest & they make sure I’m 100% satisfied every time I leave. I recommend them to anyone/​everyone I know because they are THAT good. Definitely give them a try, you’ll be glad you did!

I give this Salon one star because of the owners. They steel the stylists tips and commissions as well as overcharge the customers. My stylist quoted me $ 100 for color before I came in. When I checked out, the owner attempted to charge me $ 140. I was told this is routine. They play favorites as far as assigning new customers to stylists as well. DO NOT TRUST THE OWNERS! There has been mass exodus of stylists as a result over the last few months.
If I could give a rating on stylists alone, I would give 5 stars. I only go there for Haley; however, I bring cash for her tip as I know it will be stolen if I don’t.

Go see Gabriela who use to be there at her new spot! She’s awesome. La Belle Etoile at Hightower Salon. I took my business to her after realizing that I was getting way overcharged and the tip I was providing was not going to Gabriela. Not cool!

Mary Ellen is absolutely great at styling, coloring and gives the best recommendations in keeping your hair happy and healthy. I moved to Texas 8 months ago from New York and I’m super pick so the hardest thing for me to find was someone I trusted with my color and hair (my previous stylist was my stylist for over 10 years) but when I finally tried Pro Image and had Mary Ellen color, cut and blow dry my hair I was absolutely in love with how she managed my thick frizzy hair and stubborn roots. She truly listens to what you are looking for, answers all your questions and helps with recommendations. Now I’m planning on going back in a couple of weeks to get the Brazilian blowout treatment and I’m super excited.

I came here this week because i needed a change with my hair. I sat down and about two minutes later i was greeted by Sarah. She was super sweet and listened to all my concerns. She was very attentive to what I wanted and made it happen. I love my hair. I feel 5lbs lighter. I love the style she did. She really has a great eye for style. Honestly, it was the best hair experience ever. I definitely recommend her. Shes the lady with the beautiful blonde hair. Normally when i go to a salon, the stylist just does their own thing. However, Sarah understood I wanted to keep my hair long and she told me she valued my opinion. Even though hair stylists are professional and know whats best, its really admirable when they respect your opinion. Im going to go back again in a couple weeks to color my hair with her as well. I definitely recommend her and the salon.

The girl that cut my hair was very nice, I could tell she was new though. It took her two hours to cut my hair, she wanted to cut it asymmetrically «for a cute style» even after I repeatedly told her that I was not going to take the time to fix it and I wanted a low maintenance hair cut. When she used the trimmer on the back of my neck she cut me all up. I got my eyebrows waxed and she waxed over the same spot twice and did them uneven. So I had scabs under my eyebrows for a week or so. For all of that, I paid $ 65 ($ 55 + tip) I wouldn’t have tipped at all if she weren’t so nice and not trying really hard.

I have had several fantastic experiences at this salon. Sarah A. has cut my hair twice and I loved it! Yesterday Susan Lam gave me highlights (I was really nervous because I’ve been coloring my hair a dark shade of brown for years), but it turned out so nice! Everyone here is kind and very good at what they do. I’ve had many awful cuts/​colors at other salons, but have always left here extremely happy. Highly recommend this place!

I thought I would try some place new for a haircut to save time and money. This was a very bad idea. My barber cut my hair way way too short after I only requested that it be off my ears. Then, she kept trying to justify herself after the haircut was over rather than apologizing for taking way too much off. During the cut, she was socializing with the other hair dressers rather than paying attention to what she was doing. So, the trimmer may have just gotten away from her. I have never had my hair this short and am not happy about it. Never again. I’m going back to Floyd’s.
Don’t risk it.

Went in for just a trim, but ended up getting color, highlights and cut. Sarah did a fantastic job; I couldn’t be happier with my hair !!!

This is my first time to come to this salon because one of my friend recommended it. With 1 visit, I already love my hair stylist, Susan. She is fantastic. Normally, when my hair is cut short, it sticks out on the sides because my hair is coarse and tough. But Susan took time studying my hair and made sure to have a design that looks nice, short and without any hair sticking out/​up. She is so good that I will drive from Richardson fighting the traffic on I-​635to come to Irving! She is worth it!!!

The stylists that work here are very sweet and professional. They show to love what they do and they do it with care. They work hard and are willing to stay past their time in order to make sure the customer walks out looking their best.
The only reason, I’m giving this 4 out of 5 stars is due to the Manager that works there. He is the Asian guy that is mentioned multiple times in reviews below this one. I just found out today that he didn’t give the stylist, that took care of my hair last time I went, her complete tip that I requested him to give to her. I brought it to his attention today and his excuse is that he has to take 30% out of a tip that is more than $ 20 due to he needs to reported to the IRS come tax season. He has been taking money from tips that belong to his stylists, which really isn’t fair. I hope someday he gets reported to wage and hour and that he pays the stylists that work for him all that he owes them.

I got a great hair cut; however, it was a bit pricey. $ 45 for just a cut was a bit too high for my liking. I don’t like that they do not have their prices posted anywhere and they seem to charge on a whim, which I don’t like. An the head massage was really weird and if I were to go back, I would ask to skip that part.

Never step in with the assumption you will get the hair cut on the appointment time. The asian Guy in reception will say some blah blah stuff.liarr. Unethical practice.

I got my hair cut by Money today… LOVE IT!!! I moved here from Houston and had not found anyone I liked. She did an awesome job on my cut and did exactly what I asked for!

Great salon in the area for a variety of services — cut, style, color, perm, etc! I personally came here to get my hair styled (curled) for a wedding and couldn’t have been more satisfied!
Susan did a great job and made sure that my hair looked full /​voluminous with loose curls that stayed the entire night!
And on the plus side, this is probably one of the cleanest and well managed salons that I’ve been to!
Definitely a must try hair salon in Dallas!

My boyfriend has been coming here for awhile now. The lady he sees is Susan (she’s cut his hair over 15+ years now), she does a great job! We live in Plano & it’s well worth the drive to have our hair cut by her. She takes her time, but not forever. I’ve never left there not liking the place. The prices are reasonable for the detailed work. The people are very nice. The place is always clean. We’ve never had to wait very long, even on busy days. Yet, we always call ahead of time to make an appointment. I’ve recommended this place to my friends. After they’ve been even they have thanked me for the recommendation.
