Taylor’s will always have a special place in my heart. I’ve been here many times and silly me, I forgot to write a review! I come here nearly every Sunday during football season with my boyfriend and who we refer to as our Sunday Football Family. The staff is always great and pays close attention to our table. They all know us by name and know what we drink. We always get our special table in a special spot. It’s like a big family here. The taco salad is great, the pretzel bread sticks are good. I’ve also had the mozzarella sticks. My friends rave about the Parmesan crusted pot roast sandwich. The pizza looks good, but I haven’t tried it myself. My boyfriend usually gets the wet burrito. Good beer on tap and god options for hard cider. When it’s warm their outdoor patio is great for sitting outside and watching football as well. Great service, easy parking, and clean. The sound is always on for the Colts games and most importantly, they put up with our loud outbursts and cheering. The only thing that could make this place perfect is if you could order Baskin Robbins for dessert(which is literally two doors down from here) :) Also, ask for a Taylors pub bucks card and you can start earning points to get a few bucks off on your bill!

My fiancé and I were looking for some place affordable to get a good burger and beer. This place sure fits the bill. Not fancy, pretty 80s in their décor, and located in a seen-better-days strip mall, but you can tell right away when you walk in this is a local favorite. When we went, it was trivia night, which I’d probably try to avoid in the future because I felt the microphone was set a bit too loud. But the service was decent and my burger was excellent. I ordered fries(I guess they normally come with pretzels) and they were delicious hot steak fries with the right amount of crispy and potato-y. Good selection of beers. Lots of TVs, seems like a good spot to watch a game.

Taylor’s Pub has the absolutely the best service you could expect from a bar. Each employee acts as though they have ownership and seem to genuinely care about their guests, especially the regulars. The kitchen is very efficient and offers a decent variety of food to soak up the booze. As a chicken wing connoisseur, I put Taylor’s in my Top 3. Great deal on them Sunday as well. As mentioned in the other reviews, very entertaining and knowledgeable bartenders who run a tight ship.

love the feel of the place. small but nice inside. the onion rings and fish were outstanding(homemade beer batter) however for the price you definitely didn’t get enough food at all. quality of food a1 though :) and good drink specials.

I’m not sure if I can put into works exactly why this place is gold. To start the service is unbelievable. Every staff-member I’ve talked to makes me feel like I’m at home and we’re old buddies. That’s what I want from a local dive; I’ve always wanted to be regular somewhere and even though I’m too poor to visit weekly, I still feel like I’m treated like a regular. They have great specials($ 3 pint night is lovely) and the food hits the spot for a fair price. I usually just get the appetizers(mmm nachos) but will recommend the BBQ chicken pizza if you feel so inclined. Always go local if you can!

I’ve been to Taylor’s Pub a few times now. My friends and I love trivia night Thursdays! It’s free to play, challenging, and a good way to spend the evening. Trivia runs from 7:30 to approximately 9:30, and you can even play while sitting on the patio! Now as for the food, it’s all good! I’ve had a few meals there, but my absolute favorite is the Parmesan Crusted Pot Roast Sandwich. The pot roast falls apart in your mouth. It’s so juicy and tender! And the bread is crispy and flavorful. I highly recommend it! Last night, we also got the bread sticks. They’re your average bread stick with some good seasoning, but nothing special. I’m not a beer drinker, but my friends enjoy the beer offerings at Taylor’s. One tip for anyone attending trivia night… you need to come up with a clever name for your team! Teams that just go by «team number 4» or whatever are booed by everyone in the pub. Creative team names that relate to whatever news is making headlines that week get applause.

I love Taylor’s! I moved to Indianapolis about a year and a half ago and found this place. It felt right and like home :) people like Nick and Laura always super friendly and attentive. Clearly I am a regular now, but from the first interaction it was like we knew each other! The food is amazing consistently and the drinks are AMAZING! I always rave about this spot and the staff, so I will keep sending customers on through :)

This place just keeps getting better and better. They recently renovated this place and it is amazing! They update their food menu quite a bit. I’ve never had a bad meal here. You have to come here. Bartenders Ryan, Nick and Kasey are the most personable, wonderful people you will ever meet. Come here and you’ll be part of the family. Good drinks and wonderful eats.

Onion Rings with cajun sauce are awesome! Good place for sports and the service can’t be beat. Looks like a bit of a dive from the outside, but very comfortable inside; we love coming here!

The worst service I’ve ever received… the waitress was super rude and the management unreceptive and unapologetic. From the moment we walked in… worst experience ever!

Had the breadsticks and pretzel sticks, both of which we’re fantastic. As someone allergic to half of the world including alcohol I don’t usually have a good time at pubs. Well excluding karaōke. They let me use the Touchtunes Jukebox, which wasn’t being used. I can’t express my passion for those little devices. Ryan was our bartender, ever vigilant and our drinks were always addressed quickly. I’ll be back with coworkers again. Especially if there’s Karaōke.

First visit and great fun! I love it when the bartender introduces themselves and then follows up with great service. I also love when they serve drinks with a heavy poor — and he did just that. A strong tequila and Diet Coke made the trivial pursuit game going on that evening even more fun. After a second drink I almost answered the questions correctly, or I didn’t realize how wrong I was, or I didn’t care. I didn’t eat, but the food looked great. Very mixed crowd of all ages and all seemed comfortable. I’ll be back.

You know that bar you keep going back to even though its a bit of a dive because its not too loud or crowded, has your favorite local brew, and the food is decent? For me that’s Taylor’s. There’s nothing outstanding except that it is just a comfortable place to grab dinner and a beer. They sometimes have really good specials and the trivia on Thursday nights is a fun way to spend 2 hours with friends. 3 stars is my objective judgment, but my heart suggests you go give it a try.

Stopped at Taylor’s Pub last week to play some trivia and grab some grub. I wish I could give 3.5 stars because this is what I believe Taylor’s Pub truly deserves, but alas… gotta go with the three. So, Thursday nights is trivia and also cheap well drinks, so started off my evening with a gin & tonic and boyfriend and I split an order of the pretzel breadsticks. We got both spicy mustard and nacho cheese — nacho cheese dip was so good. Pretzel breadsticks were meh. Not enough salt on them. pretty much just tasted like fried dough, so it was a bit disappointing. For my main meal, I got the California Veggie Burger with waffle fries. So, I like black bean burgers, but this pretty much tasted like they warmed up a Boca black bean burger and slapped it on a skinny bun with guacamole. I mean, it wasn’t bad, but I could’ve done this in my own kitchen for about $ 2. The waffle fries were good. I mean, how can you really mess up waffle fries? There wasn’t anything *bad* about the food, but also. nothing really great either. I did really like the atmosphere. It was very much a neighborhood bar with little pretentiousness. And the trivia was super fun too! Also, a decent selection of local draft beers. I would definitely go back to play trivia again, and keep trying food off the menu in the hopes of striking gold.

Very awesome! Okay, so from the outside you would think eh not so much. It is what I would call a hole in the wall bar. However the have amazing food and great service. I tried their salmon sliders with capers and a garlic aioli and it was the BOMB!!! It did not taste like bar food at all, and actually I learned that the salmon is never frozen and was caught no more than 72 hours before being cooked and served to me. That is awesome. Not what I expected from a bar honestly. I love that it is a small business and not a chain and that they have great food and awesome service. This location also had pool tables and plenty of seating. In the summer time, I am looking forward to using their patio which is very nice and cozy between two buildings. I will definitely be going back to Taylor’s. WELLDONE!

I’ve usually been a fan of finding a nice, calming pub to do my thinking in. After moving to this side of town, I can say that I’ve found it. This place is staffed with people that aren’t afraid to be human, instead of just a façade of customer service so people will get that generic feeling that one would get at an Applebee’s. Not to say that they are rude — oh, no… The bar and wait staff are very professional, courteous, and non-hesitant to be hilarious at times. Big props to Lee, Nick, Casey, and Lynn. Now, to the brew. I like that they seem to remain tapped on some local favorites from Triton, Flat12, and Bier. There’s honestly nothing greater on the face of the Earth than getting off work, and getting a nice local pint of IPA. I honestly haven’t tried much of the food, because I’m rather picky with food, but I can say that the gyro and buffalo chicken ranch wrap are KILLER!!! I know that there are cheaper places out there, but there’s something to be said about paying a little bit more to not be surrounded by collar-popping douche bags.

Awesome burger. It actually came out the way I ordered it… medium rare(which is a rarity in Indiana). Came for lunch so it was totally chill. Bartender told me it gets pretty busy at night, especially the patio(thats where the smokers go now) As for the atmosphere, think Cheers. Bartenders know all the regulars names and have their drinks on the bartop before they even sit down. Bit dont think that theyre ubfriendly to «outsiders», because theyre not.

I’ve been to both Taylor’s locations a few times. I don’t know if it’s considered a good thing or a bad thing when the waitresses recognize you. But, I’m going to say it’s a good thing. Since I’ve already mentioned them, let’s start with the fabulous ladies who take care of all of your needs. Big shout out to Casey and Lynn! These chicks rock! I’m not trying to take anything away from the other employees at all! I’ve just had more interaction with these two. And have had a fantastic experience because of that. They have just rolled out a new menu at both locations. Let me tell ya, there’s a lot of good looking choices on there! Last night we decided to try the fried pickles. Goodnight! They were amazing! The batter was the perfect thickness and not greasy at all. We opted for the chipotle ranch because, why not! The heat and flavor from the dipping sauce worked perfectly with the salty, sour pickle. I had the opportunity to talk to Kyle, the GM of both locations. This is a man who loves his job! It’s clear that he cares about both his guests and employees. He is more than willing to answer questions and listen to suggestions. The thing that got me into Taylor’s the first time was trivia. There’s always a good crowd of people on trivia nights. Laughter, music, beer, and some brain exercises. Not a bad way to spend a few hours. Test your knowledge and maybe you’ll walk away with a gift card to use on the above mentioned fried pickles. Or, one of the many other tasty options. Taylor’s is a well kept, clean, and safe environment. Check them out! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. But, seriously… FRIEDPICKLES!

Luuuuuv the chicken wings the best on the north side. Luuuuv the patio, summer time is my favorite. A lot bigger inside and Thursday trivia night. Fun times.
