I’m very disappointed with this establishment on their customer service. The unhappy worker’s name was HAZEL. Idk if we seemed difficult but it looked like we irritated her and she just looked like she had no patience since we were taking long and adding things last minute. She rung us up and just gave the receipt. She never say«thank you» she never smiled. It was annoying to look at her unhappy face. While she was making our drinks she was speaking a different language which looked unprofessional. As a business student in the human resource field i would have fired her or retrained her for her lack of customer service. It does damage to the company since it’s making the customer not feel welcomed. Honestly if she didn’t like her job then quit. There are other people who needs a job and she doesn’t deserve to keep hers if she’s giving those non verbal communication. I totally regret buying *shit* from her but I didn’t want to be rude and cancel. Anyways she suck period she should start working at the market place in china town since they speak her type of language there! She would fit right in!

I don’t know why I punish myself by eating mediocre Korean food time and time again at the mall. I had the mandoo which was passable.

I used to think this was the best yummy out of them all but it has gotten pretty bad. For one thing the prices are pretty insane, $ 18 for a mix plate of bbq chicken and katsu. They were both quite dry and the katsu barely had chicken. Unfortunatly most other yummy has deprecated also, so you’ll have to find a more mom and pop bbq place for some decent grub now.

So, this turned out to be a really good find. The food portions were extremely generous and the atmosphere was casual. There were a lot of local(non-tourists) who both ate in and had take out. I tried the recommendation of the server(#1), and my traveling companion tried the chicken version of the same. The number 1 is beef and they don’t eat beef. We both got 4, that’s right 4 different side dishes to go with the meal and we could each only eat about half of the served portions. They had a smaller size, but we had no idea we should have taken that one. My recommendation would be to get the small size unless you are really hungry. I swear the servings weighed 2 lbs. each.

The BBQ chicken and Kalbi were delicious. We did not expect such good Korean food in a food court. One dish is enough for two people. The portions are huge!

Service is slow at this location. We usually split up and order food from the various kiosks in this shopping area, and we usually order here first and then go around to two to three other places, order and get the food and come back to wait for our order. This last time I waited 20 minutes! This doesn’t help when I am hungry and everyone else is waiting for me with their food getting cold. The taste of food is consistent though enough that I will continue with my routine. I wish it were faster.

Can’t get enough of this! Kalbi chicken plate is … satisfying! Potatoe salad, corn, macaroni, and spicy cucumbers! Can’t wait to go back!

Food is consistently good. Yummy sides like the bean sprouts and mayo potato salad. Only drawback is the prices are higher here.

Horrible service, small portions. Did not expect to pay $ 13 for a meat jun plate that looks like a mini plate. When I asked if it was a mini she said no its regular plate, but meat Jun is small meat… I said well this looks like a mini compared to any meat jun plate I ever had in my life.

The food was good, service was not. The worker was being chang with the potato salad along with the other sides of vegetables. She only gave a lot of the seaweed which I did not care for at all. Other than that it satisfied my hunger.

If it’s late at night, don’t go. The food will be stale, cold, and unappealing. The service is slow too. I’ve tried Yummy before at a different location, it was decent. This place? Disappointing. My boyfriend got BBQ beef and shrimp, the shrimp was over fried and the BBQ beef lame and old. There was no kim chi left either.

i had to check my dictionary the meaning of «Yummy»…it defines yummy as, delicious, delectable, appetizing and scrumptious; SORRY, none of these words refers to Yummy Korean B-B-Q. On the other hand, it means«over-priced», «greasy», «bland». «tasteless» and«retarded servers».

I got the bi bim bap, and while it was mostly good, I wished there had been less chili sauce in it. There was a pool of the sauce along one side and I made the mistake of stirring it into the surrounding rice/soy sprouts/bok choy, etc. Other than that, the portion was good, the meat was tender and well marinated, and the other veggies were good before I stirred the big pool of chili sauce all over them :(Luckily I had already eaten quite a bit of the bowl before that(and it was good), but four star food fell to the three star category by getting a bad balance of sauce to food. Other people’s orders looked really good as they walked by, so I might give it another try tomorrow!

The food is delicious, and sides are the bomb. Love the options we can choose from. Cost of food is reasonable but can also be a bit pricey :(We pretty much come here a lot so yes, we recommend!

This is the first place we go to when we are on Oahu. Chicken and Kalbi combo plate is my usual. The potato salad is the best side dish. You must try it and thank me later.

I’m a local girl from Kailua Oahu now transplanted in irvine Ca. Yummy’s is the food I crave the most. Yes, we have a ton of Korean restaurants in irvine, but none that come close to my fave Yummy’s. Here is the difference: the banchan(side dish selection) is the best. Every dish is delicious and they give you a good portion. The meat is really fire grilled unlike some of the California restaurants. It has a nice char, and the marinade is soaked deeply into the meat. Also cant beat the price. $ 7-$ 10 for a loaded plate lunch. Any of the yummy locations are great, but I seem to hit the ala moana location first. Actually, as soon as we arrive. Lol

Kalbi and chicken combo plate! My favorite sides: Potato salad, chapchae, macaroni salad, and kimchee Runs about $ 14, but enough to feed two people or one really hungry person.

12.12.13. Yummy IS yummy. By far one of the best to-go Korean places. The food is always fresh, tasty, and the portions are generous. It can be a bit pricey, but a regular sized meal can easily be split between two or be save for another meal. A safe pick here is the meat jun! This location is located near Panda Expess in the food court. There are two lines that you can go to on each side of the establishment. NOTE: both sides have different vegetable choices, so check both sides if you’re looking for particular items! Unilocal 365 Challenge: 345⁄365

NOMNOMNOM. I need me some rice. Out of all the places at the food court today Yummy’s is the winner! We got in line before the lunch rush. ( ) Got the mini kalbi instead of the regular one… When I saw the one scoop of rice I was like, «oh.» Looked like there was more meat than rice! The corn and sprouts, yummy. Why isn’t there more. Maybe I should just order the regular one next time and try other plates.

We finally decided to try it out as we always went for other options every time we came to the food court, I had the mini BBQ chicken plate w/a scoop of rice and 2 sides(kimchee and seaweed); and my husband had the kalbi & chicken combo plate w/2 scoops of rice and 4 sides. The portion was generous, and the meat was tasty, with reasonable price, except it was too salty for me, I would prefer a lighter taste. Overall, we had a delicious Korean BBQ dinner!

I always seem to end up in this food court once or twice a month and like always when I crave some quick simple Korean BBQ I come here. I like to order the mini plate because I don’t like to eat left overs… The mini plate comes with 2 sides ! scoop rice, where as the regular plate comes with 4 sides and 2 scoops of rice(I can’t finish a Regular plate). Meat Jun, Kalbi, BBQ Beef, BBQ Chicken, Curry Katsu all«Yummy», Spicy Pork was all right(Not hot enough for me). All of the vegetables side are pretty tasty but somehow I really really like strange looking fried potato salad. But thats me! I eat anything and everything. :)
