Shoe Palace

I wish I could give this place no stars! let me just start by saying they are a rip off!!!
I went into shoe palace a few times just to check it out and see what they had, nothing really special but I was still excited to see something different in the mall so of course I went to check it out, The staff is totally akward, they look at you as you come in and not one person says a word, so already i felt weird like i was walking into a club that required a membership…
After i found a shoe I was interested in, I asked for my size and the worker told me they would go and check, He came back like 9 minutes later to tell me the shoe was not available in that size, so i asked for another one and the same thing happened, so after asking for about 5 different shoes in my size i got frustrated and left, its a new store how the hell are you going to be out of a common sized shoe in almost EVERY style?
I went back to the location a few weeks later even tho i had a bad experience because I know this store has releases for the retro shoes, but only to discover that they are an inside job and there is no since of first come first serve, nothing is fair with the way they release the shoes… so I was looking for a shoe for my boyfriend and picked out some nike shox because he needed work shoes, I asked for a size and the guy came back with the size but he was acting shady when i tried to open the box, and he told me «its the same shoe as on display» OMG it took everything in me not to snap! so i took the box and checked out the shoes and instantly knew why he didnt want me to look at them!!! There was glue on the seams of the shoe, the nike check mark was messed up, and the back of the shoes were poorly made! it was obviously a manufacture mistake, but to try and sell that shoes for full price and your store dont even do returns?! hahaha! SHADY BUSINESS! ill upload photos of the shoe they were trying to sell me!!!
OVERALL: they could do good, i just dont think they care! Not sure who owns this business but im sure it will die quickly if you do not clean up the act of the employees and the way they run things, i think the store policy needs to be changed up and make it fair when your doing releases of the shoes so everyone dont come down there for nothing! They do have some nice shoes, but nothing that footlocker and champs dont have, so IDK what makes them think they are so special because the shoes are also the same prices!

Rude ass workers. Never going there again. Didn’t even greet us when we walked in. And they look down on me and my girl. Went to footlocker instead to buy 5 pairs of shoes that shouldved been bought at shoe palace. Walked back into shoe palace with 5 bags of shoes from footlocker and now they ended up acknowledging me. Never again going back there.

This place needs a new batch of workers who has some sense in customer service. Employees just stare at you as you walk in.

Maybe we got lucky but our experience here was great! Roy is the s$;t! The mrs. Must’ve tried on half the store before deciding and he was courteous and very helpful the whole time. Will definitely be back and hope that he’s working at that time!

Wanna return but they said you gotta return to Nike, they only response on sale the shoes but return

Boooo!!! Shoe Palace is not a good place for buying Shoes!!! It is a place for greedy people who reserved everything for the people they know, so the first come first served policy is not even a policy!!! Screw them! They should fire all their employees first! They have bad customer rating!

I was excited for a new shoe store to open up in Ala Moana… until I heard it was a Shoe Palace. Shoe Palace already has a bad reputation about how they release limited kicks and this is just another example. But I guess we wont start with that.
When you walk in the store it is relatively nice. shoes across all walls and they are all very well lit. There are a lot of workers but they will not help you with what you need.
Shoe Palace at times get sent limited shoes and when they do people will line up for them. All I needed to know was when they were gonna release them so I don’t go early in the morning and they decide to not release them. I called straight for about 2 weeks.
1^st week: «We will get them 1^st come first serve on Saturday of next week.»
2^nd week: «Oh we don’t know when we will get them, you are gonna have to check our shoe palace Instagram page for release info.»
–The reason why they did this was because the workers there were telling people different things about how the shoe was about to release, which is already sketchy.
— I accept the fact that the release will be announced through Instagram… seems fair.
On the day of the release (⁶⁄₁₃) they had 10 mens sizes and 10 grade school. Did not wake up because there was no Instagram post before this day telling me there would even be a release at all. Called the store and they said they had a release. Which is unbelievable.
IN CONCLUSION:
Shoe Palace is another sketchy, phony, misleading, fabrication mill of lies. They lie to tell me an answer on the phone. They say things that are not gonna happen. The are disorganized, dishonest and most definitely corrupt. There are many other shoe stores in Hawaii for you to go to that have legitimate business practices and I encourage you to visit those places instead of this horrible establishment called Shoe Palace.

Pretty nice store and very clean. A retail store like this shouldnt be using electric fans to cool down the front area of the store. Very helpful staff and professional except for that one asian girl who didnt thank us after she rang us up. I WAS even the one who had to say thank you to her, not even a nice «you’re welcome» was said. But anyhow i would still shop here.
