I saw Danny the other day and he said he’s planning on coming back in a month or so, but probably at Sand Island for lunch and dinner only. Apparently there were new regulations passed, probably at the urging of the brick and mortar restaurant community who were losing $$, that make it much harder for food trucks. That and Diamond Parking bought up a lot of the spots and won’t allow food trucks even at night. It’s too bad they run the good places out of biz and drive people to the higher priced so-​so quality alternatives. No wonder Mexi food is so mediocre on Oahu.

The best mexican food you will ever find on the island of Oahu. I highly suggest the steak burrito. they do not slack on the amount of strak they put in the burrito. Extremely worth the price you pay. The tacos are also very good. Wouldnt suggest going anywhere else on taco tuesday. Just waiting to hear back on a new location

Business closed. Trailer sitting in a lot on Kapahulu. So sad. Miss their food. Hope their just on vacation and reopen soon. Miss you Danny.

Came here after Kawaii Kon about 2 months ago. I’m not a big fan of Mexican food, but oh my gahhhhh! I’m a big fan of Taco Kabana! The tacos, both the chicken and the steak was sooo good. My bf ordered 10 lol. And we both got the quesadilla, which was also GOOD. The quesadilla is actually pretty big too. Most def will be coming back if or when they’ll open again!

$ 2 flavor-​explosion-​in-​your-​mouth tacos that are so hard to share. Something to look forward to on Taco Tuesdays. Definitely recommend!

This is by far the best mexican food on island. They moved from their spot only a block away behind the old hard rock. This place gives my grandma a run for her money and she’s from Mexico :) Carne asada taco is bomb dot com and the quesadilla is a super good value could share it ! They even have real mexican soda !!
