I liked the atmosphere and the cool reggae live bands! :D My cranberry vodka didn’t have a lot of alcohol though. :/

My co workers dragged me out the other night to watch some rap battle here. I haven’t been to this location in a ridiculous amount of time. I think it was maybe a Hard Rock? Not positive but either way, I had very little expectation when walking in. I was happy to find out it was free for girls to get in. The entranceway was interesting but once we got down the mini stairs, I was not impressed. It seemed like you had to sit at the bar to get service. All the table area was dark so I honestly don’t know if they really wanted people sitting there or if you could order food. My gin & tonic was good, beer was cheap. The rap battle was actually more interesting than expected. There was even this sister duo that pulled out some mean chick rap. Mildly impressive! Otherwise everything was kind of sticky and I felt like the vibe was off. I left kind of early so maybe it got better but I personally would like to see something more come of this location.

No stars for this place. I came here for a Wonderland event which I promoted for by the way. Asshole security was escorting these girls out who clearly needed to be out of there. As a friend & I were leaving the VIP area the security somehow thought we were the girls who needed to be escorted out, grabbed us both violently by the neck &shoved us out. Never coming here again. The security need to take their job more professionally & pay more attention to shit before man-handling innocent tiny girls like me.

Both times we have been to The Crown, we were the only people in the whole place. Both times we sat and waited for a server to come over to take our order and both times nobody came. The place looks nice, especially the outside seating area, and the seats are comfy so I cannot give a one star rating. I don’t know how the food is as we never got to see a menu but I heard that recently a 3rd party has taken over the kitchen.

Still the Crown, but also Da Kitchen! Comped put first round of drinks since no one helped us! Good music… mixed crowd… interesting…

Soft opening tonight at Da Kitchen at The Crown. Their food was Da Bomb! First time visiting and had a great evening with friends. Our bartender was awesome! Ask for JB! She made the best mix drinks! Definitely going back to try out the rest of the menu.

We were looking for Hard Rock Café but it turns out it’s called The Crown now… and I guess it’s associated with Da Kitchen that’s in Maui. If you been to Da Kitchen then you know they have the most Ono Hawaiian plate under $ 20. So what’s the deal here? First we roll up for valet and there is literally no one to park our car. Finally some stoner guy helps us after 5 minutes… nice guy but not someone I would want to be the first thing customers would see at my business. We walk in there and no one is there to seat us. People are staring at us like we are in some bizarre world where customers are aliens. I go to the bar and there are no bar stools. I ask the bar back for help… are they open, where do I sit, can we drink, are you alive… and he mumbles something about VIP. At this point I want to go but I’m hungry. We sit ourselves. The waiter was awesome though. Super friendly local Bruddah that compensated for all the other morons running this place. He explained to us what was up and joked about how the electronic music would ruin our date. Anyway. the food was freaking awesome, just like tDa Kitchen in KAHALUI or Kihei. For $ 10 I had the largest garlic chicken Katsu ever. Drinks were fast. They started the dance club in the middle of our meal and it was distracting. Plus there were choke bouncers acting like they were in Road House. For me personally, I wouldn’t come here for the dance club… even if I were desperate and single. I would come back here for the food but the staff needs to get their stuff together. The food is amazing but everything up to the point of the waiter was crap. The waiter seemed to acknowledge that since he seemed very apologetic. Anyway…

Kind of disappointed… guess they are in transition from«Crown» to «Da Kitchen» to take over!!! It was empty and the happy hour prices are really not that great!!! The venue setup is cool but parking is weird and drinks are junkie …

Came here tonight for the Fiji/Gyptian show. Was able to skip ahead to the front of the line by bribing the bouncer but other people had to wait for TWOHOURS– even after paying $ 30 for a ticket to the concert. Inside the bar took up most of the main dance floor leaving very little space(hence the line) and there were only 2(or 3?) bartenders serving a crowd of a few hundred people. After waiting forever to try to get a drink I decided to forget it and just made my way to the stage. When the show was almost over I headed out to the valet(the only thing that was good about this place) and heard other people complaining that they would never come back here ever again. I never will either

Don’t know if the valet company is a part of Crown but this review is on them. HORRID. Just HORRID. Went to a hula fundraiser a couple weeks ago and the parking was full, however the valet service still took our car. Keep in mind the parking lot can fit maybe 50 cars or so, and the hula halau sold 600 tickets that night. The fundraiser ended and there were crowds and crowds of people trying to leave, but also trying to come in. This is because Crown booked a Fiji concert right after the fundraiser. BADTIMING. Long story short, it took us 1 ½ hours to get our car. I repeat: ONEAND A HALFHOURS! #1 because 600 people were trying to get their car all at the same time, and it was so chaotic and really unorganized. #2 because they«LOST» our car! Apparently they didn’t put a ticket on the car key and did not know where the car had been parked. It obviously was not in the parking lot since we came later and that parking lot was jam packed already, so they were parking cars out on the street, blocks away, elsewhere. WORSTVALETEXPERIENCEEVER. And Crown itself was nothing special either. The bartenders were slow and very unorganized too.

Paid a cheap $ 10 cover and $ 5 valet fee only to see Ooklah perform for 20mins. Like what? I dragged my friend from the Bruno Mars after party at the M to come here and be severely disappointed. The door girl was some sassy ass chick that just sat there and couldn’t count back change correctly. The bartenders were good. but the layout was still narrow and squished. IDK, after Ooklah dug out it was dead empty so we left. didn’t spend more than 45mins there lol. Probably wont be back, it really did seem like a waste.

Had such a horrible experience here. Bought $ 30 tickets to a concert and waited over an hour to get in because service was so bad. Then got inside the bar and waited over 20 minutes to get a drink and got completed ignored by the bar tenders. Don’t ever go here for a big event. HORRIBLESERVICE

Poor management!!! They double book an event here and not enough staff. So bad and stressful for our waitress that she quit. We been here for 2 hrs and still didn’t get anything. Sorry folks!!! Oh wait… Our waitress that said that she quit is working in the VIP section now. Still no service for us! I guess they let customers smoke weed here too cause it’s all over the place! Fiji sounded great though… don’t knw if I’ll stay for Gyptian.

Came here for a few drinks after a show. I’ve always passed by crown and always wondered what is this place? I looked it up and found out they have events and the bands they have are good ones too! The parking is valet which is convenient, 5.00. BET was playing, cover charge 10.00. I was surprised there was plenty of seating which made me very happy because usually when a band is playing its usually standing room only. Got a table and the waitress came right away to take our order. Beer was cold food was so so. Atmosphere was casual and kick back. There is also a patio area with plenty of seating. After the band was done, they have a DJ playing which was good. I will certainly come back to try the other items on menu and course come back for the bands.

You are greeted with HIGH arched ceilings and a huge center island bar when you walk through the door — after you’ve parked in their relatively spacious lot out front! Happy hour specials, hooka bar(on Thurs, Fri and Sat nights), cigar events all add up to a great place to lounge. Wasn’t extremely crowded so you had room to move around and enjoy the space. The music was perfectly loud(aka didn’t have to shout my conversation to the person sitting next to me). Service was great(shout-out to Freddie!) Will definitely be back!

The old Hard Rock… went there once. The Crown… first time to watch Ekolu with my cousin. Had a Great time. The pupus, live music, the beers, and atmosphere. Sat at the bar and had a good view of the stage. Bartender, a guy, was very cool and such fast service. Saw many of my friends I haven’t seen in awhile. Loved it. Second time there was to see Awa! Great show and had a awesome time. Saw my cousin who had the VIP Room and her birthday. Ran into other friends as well. This seems to be the place to be on a Saturday night. Met Anna, who was the best waitress there and Maika G’s wife. Fast, friendly, and service with Aloha! Made us wanna come back. Third time, for birthday celebration and see Trey Smooth! Opening band was great. Our server Shae was not a typical server. She was very sweet, fast to serve us, I mean really fast. The food was great and so was the music. We had a very awesome time with our friends. The experience is worth coming back for. Mahalo!

Once the«Hard Rock Café» now its called The Crown. Several of us went there for Super Bowl Sunday. The place was packed but they managed to bring a table from outside with chairs so we could sit inside and watch the game. Choke T.V.s everywhere and an extra large screen on the wall. The parking lot was packed but we double parked and they made announcements if cars needed to be moved. Very nice atmosphere. Large area inside with outdoor seating available also. The staff was very friendly from the doorman to the waitresses. Drinks came quickly and so did the food. We ordered everything on the menu. haha Don’t get the wrong idea… It wasn’t a very large menu. Everything was great. This could be our new hangout.

Although I pass here literally every day, I never had the urge to grab a drink here UNTIL I saw a banner up that said«Kimie LIVE this Saturday!» Kimie? You make me say ooooooooooooh? YES, I’m there! I haven’t been here since it was Hard Rock. Remember those Fridays years ago? LOL. It has the same ambiance and same structure — the bar is still in the middle, there is outside seating, nothing has changed. Pulled up at about 11:15pm worried about parking, but was taken care of right away by the valet staff(thank God we didn’t need to look for parking elsewhere!). Jumped right in, got a drink at the top bar on the right and started dancing the night away. Bar staff could have been a little friendlier, but not a big deal. If you’re into live, local music you should check out their calendar for the complete lineup of future events –
If another one of my favorite local artists play here, I’ll def be back :)

Nice atmosphere. Good Parking. Asked for a glass of water, big mistake! Only Bottled Water for a fee. Never again…
