Some friends and I ordered take-out and got the Grilled Chicken Chimichurri, Pesto Chicken with Spinach(side: spaghetti) and the Moroccan Lamb Stew(side: rice). I was excited about the lamb but it was very undercooked and I couldn’t finish it. The Pesto Chicken with Spinach was too creamy and that didn’t go well with the pesto flavor. The Chimichurri Chicken was the only item I really liked.

Got the opportunity to try the 4 course dinner –Salad was decent –Corn chowder was delicious –Seafood appetizer was good –Upgraded to rib eye steak, add a fee, nice grill marks, good value… Dessert was tiramisu, ok. Billy our server was friendly and provided excellent 5 star service, mahalo! I enjoyed the ’80’s music mix, but the food timer going off was very annoying. Parking is better now that Bubbies closed down.

Kit n Kitchen is a nice little European tapas-inspired restaurant that’s conveniently located in town. They have great ambiance, decent service(not stellar), and good food. A huge plus is when you order entrée dishes, you’re able to pick from a small $.99 pupu menu for an added something-something to your meal. Sometimes it’s a small pizza or salad. The portions are generous! Their oxtail soup is notable, along with the beef dish with chimichurri. The garlic shrimps are scrumptious, and their soups and salads are definitely a great way to start the meal. A big bummer is that they do not sell liquor. I would love a glass of wine with dinner, but alas, no more!

Been wanting to try this place forever. Although the service and location were good, food was subpar. 4 of us and none were impressed with our dishes. I agree with other reviewers that there are way too many menu choices. Not coming back.

Oh my lorsh!!! Tonight was my first time here and I’m a food blogger who heard about this joint through social media and boy am I glad I did. This was the dinner of all dinners! What a way to ring in the new year! My order consisted of; pan seared eggplant with an olive soy pimento sauce — eggplant seared and cooked in an olive soy pimento sauce 5⁄5 dish Beef tongue with an olive soy sauce — tongue is cooked for 4 hours than grilled to order. The meat is super tender and soft like butter, seasoned simply with salt and pepper and served with an olive oil sauce. So ono! 5⁄5 dish for sure. Fried miso and garlic chicken wings — crispy fried chicken tossed in a miso soy sauce and topped with deep fried garlic chips, need I say more? 5⁄5 dish for sure Escargot — snails cooked in white wine with tons and garlic and herbs serve with garlic toast! Yum, yum, yummy! 5⁄5 ‘s Seafood paella — rice cooked in shrimp stalk and tomato base infused with spices, herbs and saffron, and cooked with squid, mussels and shrimp. 4⁄5 dish Pork chops with chimichurri — Here’s a tip for y’all. Anything with their chimichurri is a must. Omg they’ve perfected the chimichurri here. It’s to die for! Try it on the grilled steak or lamb. Definitely 5⁄5 ‘s. Strawberry crepes — Best crepes around. So, so good. Pyramid Pillows(honey toast) — OK the honey toast in probably the best variant of the dish I’ve had yet. It’s so dang good. Oh my lorsh. It’s served with warm dark honey, chocolate sauce, crème anglaise and ice cream. This dish was unreal broke the mouth ono! I rate it a 10⁄5 dish. Everything we ordered was amazing!!!

When my coworkers wanted to order lunch one day and told me they were ordering from Kit N Kitchen, I had no idea what that was. When they said it’s mainly pasta type stuff, I was totally in seeing as pasta is one of my favorite foods. I ordered the grilled chicken chimichurri with spaghetti noodles. Man oh man, that was the first time I had ever eaten chimichurri… and it was delicious. I stuffed my face until I literally felt sick from eating so much. @_@ Haha. I would totally buy a jug of their homemade sauce if I could. The delivery guy was very friendly. I only gave 4 stars seeing as I have literally only tried one thing and have only had one encounter with them.

First off, the reason why I adore this place is because they practice what I believe EVERY restaurant should, flexibility. Many times I’ve eaten here, I have made requests for my meal that change what it normally is a little. From switching chicken to steak on a dish, to requesting the steak be sliced instead of served whole(as it normally is) and every single time without any hassle they grant me my wish. Now I haven’t explored the menu by a lot, but from what I have ordered from there, the quality of food has been great! I love that the beef they serve is USDA choice, and that they let us know of that! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who has not eaten here before, and I will continue to be a customer here.

First time and I really enjoyed it. My favorite part is being able to doodle while waiting patiently for the food. I love to draw and it’s would be a great place for family with kids to distract them and keep them busy. I got the mushroom shrimp with cream and I love it. The portion was pretty big which is a plus for me. Next time I wanna try their desserts :3

Tried the $ 23.994-course meal and it was good: Fresh salad with ginger dressing, appetizer of 2 escargot in pastry, 2 grilled shrimp, and 2 paper-thin pieces of steak with chimichurri sauce(good sauce!), corn chowder soup, and a choice of entrée. I chose the baked shrimp over spaghetti in red sauce — yum! Capped my meal off with fresh strawberry crepes and I was happy and satisfied! Good, friendly service! An enjoyable evening with good food and good friends!

I do enjoy Kit N Kitchen. I was in college when I fell in love with the place so upon returning, it was different of course. The concept is Chinese fused with Italian comfort food. Take the fancy trend and make it home cooked and you’ve got Kit’s Kitchen. Home-cooked Asian-Fusion Soul Food is the way I’d describe his style. The dishes tend to be saucy(which is a beautiful thing) and always flavorful in a variety of different ways. The technique is simple and very stewy, reminiscent of Vietnamese stews, often monotone in style but layered with strong flavor. Flavors get really deep in some dishes. Even the lighter dishes are packed with things like the best non burnt roasted garlic you’ve ever had. GETROASTEDGARLICONIT. Especially on the spaghetti. Make sure someone capable is roasting your garlic. And your chicken! And your everything. All of his fusion pastas are good, but please don’t underestimate the spaghetti. The salads and lunch combos(soup + salad) are good. I love the Asian chicken salad with their amazing ginger dressing. How do you make that??? I could eat it as a soup. My favorite dishes are the spaghettis, one being the plain marinara sauce or if I feel like it, meatball marinara. The meatballs are like subway meatballs, so not terrible, but a little misplaced for how ridiculously delicious the marinara sauce is. It’s more liquid than it is thick and it’s oily in the best of way. One of the better(sweet) red sauces I’ve had. I crave it often. But know it’s sweeter than salty. They have their take on a bolognese as well, which I like when I’m feeling like home-cooked…asian-y spaghetti? Also oily in the greatest form are the olive oil sauce spaghettis. Any of them are delicious if they’re swimming in this sauce. My mom and girlfriends’ favorite dishes, predictable. It’s light yet rich. I can’t get enough of the spaghetti portion of his menu. You can create your own as well. I get spaghetti with chicken, roasted garlic of course, broccoli and mushrooms, and an extra heaping of his DIVINE olive oil sauce that I’d wife up in a second. I seriously dream about it and can never for the life of me replicate it at home. You have to like light oil or olio spaghettis. I love it because my all time faves are spaghetti aglio e olio and aglio e olio e alici– anchovies(add some chicken in there too). This is not by any means traditional like that, but it’s a way to look at it if you love aglio e olio. The eggplant with ground meat(Sloppy Eggplant) was good with an interesting blend of flavors. Their eggplant in general and the way that they cook it is just ridiculous. The spicy clam spaghetti or the seafood dishes are crazy flavorful with prices to match. Don’t try these if you’re a light eater or suffer from IBS. Other dishes would follow the same advice. They are truly Chinese in this sense of spicing things up. They have a lot of meats flavored robustly and paired with jasmine rice or pasta. Pork chops, veal, lamb, ossobuco, etc. All fine tasting if you don’t expect fine dining. An elaborate menu so take your time. I do believe there is a kid menu as well. The mushroom chicken over rice is my little nephew’s favorite thing here(adult menu). Like moms but better. Because there’s cheeeeeese. Really good cheese. The flavors pair perfectly. Oh and the way they cook chicken here is king. In any of the dishes. In this one, it’s softer and milder than in the pastas, but still great. If you love this old school dish you should try it. Definitely one of the better restaurant version mushroom chix I’ve had. If you’re like my hubby, ask for extra sauce. The escargot is not worth it. Neither are any of the other«delicacies.» It’s not the ingredients that do it here(because there’s too many ingredients), it’s the flavor combinations and the pairings. Keep it in mind. Garlic pillow toast is a must do obviously. Soups come topped with a pastry puff if you want it. Yes, you do want. Mmmm. The place is small and strung with string lights and splattered with eccentric and colorful décor pieces. My mom and I love it because we’re random and weird. Cute and fun atmosphere. Small wine list with maybe one good choice for vinos. The duck one. If they still have it. Not sure if they’ve expanded. Kit, the owner, is awesome. The leading lady in the kitchen was always my favorite, but it’s been a bit since I’ve been. I wonder if she’s still there or in Mapunapuna now. If anything support them and this cute family. All in all 3.8−3.9 stars for flavor and food. 4 stars for the entire experience.

KitnKitchen is always great and highly recommended. The food is a great example of fusion cuisine. Huge portion and always a nice atmosphere. I’ve been coming to Kit’s for years and it never dissappoints. The tarako pasta, beef chimchurri and sandy wings are old favorites. Kit himself often welcomes you into the restaurant, its nice knowing a restaurant owner cares for his customers.

Took my husband here for a nice dinner. The service was excellent, they were very attentive & always came around to give us water & ask how we were doing. The food was super good. They really give large portions so me & my husband both took home our leftovers for tomorrow. would come back here again.

Don’t get me wrong the food here is amazing! Really the food is amazing every time we go! But the wait and the service is really slow! Tonight when we went there was only one waiter and one busboy, and we had a really long wait for our food… We waited around 45 mins after ordering to get our food(yummy food but damn we were hungry)! I would only recommend this place if you don’t mind waiting.

Kit ‘N Kitchen has been around for such a long time, but I always forget about this place when trying to figure out where to eat. When I do eat here, I always ask myself, «Why don’t I eat here more often? This place is awesome!» This place looks small from the outside, but it can accommodate quite a few people very comfortably. I’ve seen large parties hosted here. I love the cute yellow décor and gorgeous bursting paper lantern hanging in the middle of the restaurant. The tables are lined with paper with boxes of crayons for any artists in your party. The menu is extensive and is a fusion of Asian and Italian flavors. I love that the menu is a picture menu, so you have an idea of what you are ordering. The portions here are very generous, so you can split a salad/soup/appetizer and entrée and still have room for dessert. The salads are delicious and refreshing and include Jade Chicken Salad, Bacon Salad, Grilled Beef Salad, and Caesar Salad Grilled Chicken(my favorite). The soups are super duper delicious here with a Milano Tomato Soup, Cream Corn Soup, and Mushroom Soup, to name a few. The appetizer menu is tempting and extensive. I recommend the Eggplant with Olives Pimento, which is pan seared eggplant with homemade olives shoyu sauce, topped with green onions. The main course menu is also extensive with Create-Your-Own Spaghetti, Chef’s Spaghetti, and Oven Baked Seafood and Meat Dishes that include a grilled bone-in pork chop prepared four different ways. The Chef’s Specials are super tempting with Grilled Ribeye Steak, Osso Bucco Milanese, Red Wine Ox Tail Stew, Grilled Beef Chimichurri, and Pepper Lamb. Oh, and there is also Pizzas and Rissotos available too! Seriously, there is something on the menu to satisfy the pickiest eater. I admit that the parking is a bit scarce since it has to compete with Bubbies and Ezogiku, so coming early(before the after dinner ice cream crowd arrives) is essential. The parking humbug is worth it!

I felt like I needed to Unilocal this because of my bad service experience at another restaurant this past weekend. We went in with a bogo coupon. We ordered and asked if we could get one of the $ 0.99 menu items(pizza for the kids). He told us we couldn’t combine offers. That was fine. The food came out quickly. We ordered two bacon and mushroom spaghetti in a garlic cream sauce and a garlic pillow bread. The taste wasn’t gourmet of course but was good. They gave a lot for the price. He came out and put an order of pizza on the table and told us he put in the order anyways. We had good consistent service throughout the remainder of our meal. At the end, he brought us our bill and told us he took care of the pizza for us. 5 stars for service and 3.5 for food!!! Will definitely dine here again!!!

This divey/trendy spot is awesome! I ordered a mushroom salad and delicious Steak Chimichurri. The latter was cooked med-rare as requested and well-seasoned below a well-blended sauce. It was a notch or two above my grill’s attempt to replicate Bön Appétit South American cover models in my backyard(and I’m a steak snob w/very fancy thermometers). The mushroom salad(I forget what type) is light and eclectic, yet somehow forgettable. Wouldn’t repeat it… Mushroom-anything’s deserve Mrs. Ross status! I also tried a so-so, new Moroccan Lamb they were pushing, which tasted nothing like proper Moroccan(not even halfway) yet was tasty/presentable… seems like noone makes good moroccan chicken or stew outside of Morocco/LA/NYC? I actually thought it was chicken, which means the cook managed a tender and non-gamey lamb. Good enough. I’ll stick with Indian spots for my lamb. Entrée names could be cleverer. I don’t consider this place to be «fusion» so much as «worldly» dining, hehe. It’s awesome to have options for ramen or Flintstone BBQ, but the menu is too damn huge. Décor: imaginative/groovy/casual. Very off-the-beaten-path. I love the energy of this place. I’ll be back!

I think, by far, the best fusion food ever. The attire was nice, and the owner is quite adventures, thus results in innovative but delicious dishes!!! Must check out if you are in the town!!! Loved the chicken salad, best best ever

The reviews for this location seem to vary exponentially between people so I decided to add in my 2 cents. We encountered a friendly and attentive wait staff and great food with large portion sizes and I would be happy to 5 star them for it. So why didn’t I? How did they lose 2 stars? Our table was actually composed of two tables sat side by side with each other, both of them were different heights. We didn’t know this because with the table cloth and paper on it looked like one piece. This lead to spilling a drink within the first few seconds of our meal. When the waiter came by to help clean up said drink he merely commented«Oh yeah some of them are like that.» Really? couldn’t you have told us that as you were seating us so we would have known? Still though I would have been happy to rate 4 or 5 stars. The issue that set it as a solid 3 stars for me is that there is a half wall that divides the dining space, it’s a tile design with orange lights in the top. I leaned on it when I was getting my wallet out and it started to tilt, it’s not connected to the floor, you can literally poke it over which is a major safety hazard being that there is seating on both sides of it. Not good, not good. So to sum it up. Great food, Great staff, sketchy tables and one major safety hazard has earned«Kit N’ Kitchen» a nice 3 stars.

I’ve been to some really good fusion restaurants, but this was not one of them. Everything seafood related was tragic and doused in unidentifiable sauces that overwhelmed the food. Also everything seemed to be persistently overcooked. You shouldn’t have to fight with a shrimp to eat it. Also the meat was a shame because of the sauce that they put on it. Hopefully they change their menu and work out their issues. It’s a cute concept, but just needs be executed better. Update: I just got back home and my stomach felt a little weird. I just assumed it was the normal bathroom feelings until I suddenly felt nauseous. Barely made it to the bathroom. I’ve had my share of food poisoning, but this one is really hitting me.

A few of my friends insisted we come here because they LOVE it. It was my first time & let me start by saying I am VERY picky. I love that it’s BYOB but I had a hard time finding anything on the menu that I even thought I might enjoy. Escargot, oxtail soup, jambalaya, few meat plates(I think I saw steak & porkchops), & everything you could imagine in tomato sauce. Now while I love pasta, I don’t dig tomato sauce. My friend started us off with the calamari rings, garlic pillow toast, salad & the chicken wings. I enjoyed both the calamari & bread & opted to order the only thing I could find in white sauce(chicken & spinach with spaghetti noodles). I can’t remember what it was labelled as in the menu but it also came with tomatoes which I had omitted. It would have been perfect with a fettuccini or even farfalle but they only offer spaghetti noodles or rice. Bummer. For dessert my friends ordered a crêpe(I think with strawberries & banana) & the tiramisu. I didn’t try either since I don’t care for them & figured we could go to Bubbies right around the corner afterwards. Overall, service was good. They are great with supplying extra cups, ice & wine glasses for whatever liquor you bring in. Once we had our pupus, food & cups, they pretty much left my party to ourselves(which we don’t mind at all). We get pretty rowdy & I felt kinda bad for the other patrons. I will not return here to eat but wouldn’t mind coming just to drink & hang out.
