This Baja Fresh location is tender. It is among the cozy stores at the easily navigable Gresham Station outdoor shopping mall, close to transit and the menu is fairly typical. Tables are all over the store, while they always have plenty of condiments and beverages. Nachos have come to be what really distinguishes Baja Fresh. I came here after an appointment. For about five dollars, I had a regular-sized pork nachos. The refillable drink was less than two. My order came after about six minutes. Such was delicious, and perhaps filling. They gave me lots of sour cream and guacamole, while the pork was tender and the chips were skillfully made. As hard as I find it to do for a chain, the price was good and the food didn’t feel like frankenfood, so I’ll have to not be biased. Customers who want something more authentic may want to checkout the nearby Chuy’s Taco Shop, but this hails shame onto Taco Bell and Taco Time. The Portland area could use more Baja Fresh.

Had a shrimp burrito absolutely delicious! Chips were good too! Side condiment bar was very clean and abundant with sauces. Tables were clean too. My burrito was full of big delicious plump shrimp. Customer service excellent and very nice.

Due to food allergies I always have to order things a bit differently but they are always accommodating and never get it wrong. Love this place.

Pricey but fresh = good quality food. Jackie(I think her name was Jackie) took very good care of me, very polite. Definitely recommend if you feel like treating yourself to a quality lunch.

Quick spot to grab a bite to eat. Guacamole and chips are good, and you can’t skip past the salsa bar.

My mother and I love Baja Fresh. We had never been to this location before. This time I decided to try the Nacho’s. Man they were huge and delicious. Lots of toppings so ever single chip had something to go with it. Actually by the time I reached the bottom I ran out of chips and had a nice little bean salad at the bottom to clean up. My mother got her new favorite the BBQ chicken salad. Everything was great during our visit.

Baja Fresh is a delicious fast-food choice for those with an intolerance for Gluten. My husband and I didn’t love Mexican food before– but after his diagnosis with Celiac disease, we eat here 3 times a month! The food is healthy, fast, and fresh!

I’ve been dining here since they opened and the quality has never changed! I no longer live in Gresham but any time I’m home it’s the one place I MUST visit! Today in particular was a great visit! Jackie the cashier was super nice and sincere. The food was quick and I’m not feeling well so I couldn’t hear her and had to keep asking her to repeat what she had said. I felt so bad but she was so patient. Very nice. The last time I was here the gentleman actually brought my food to the table I was sitting at… not a normal thing for here. It was so nice! The quality of customer service has definitely improved since it’s opened. I love it. Try it if visiting or come back if you love here! Yummy food!

Great consistent food, would be five stars if it was a little less expensive. Keep in mind this would be five stars for fast food, You should not expect gourmet food or over-the-top service! Just Good eats at a clean restaurant.

Their salsa bar is good. This is a nice alternative to fast food restaurants and they have some healthier options. I have come here for several years but the most recent visit the food wasn’t very good. I am hoping it was just a fluke because their salads are really good and their taquitos are good too.

Eh, it’s alright. Good food, a little pricey for what I consider unauthentic mexican, can have a long wait, and it’s really nothing special. It’s just yummy, but for the price and all the other amazing places to eat for the same amount, I really suggest just going somewhere else. Actually, I think the REAL authentic places are cheaper and give you more. I think this place really plays on the healthy aspect, it doesn’t deep fry or grease up ASMUCH as other places. So, I don’t know, if you’re around and are hungry and looking for somewhat healthy, here you go!

Picked up a Party Pack of steak, chicken & shrimp Fajitas for me and my crew. Customer service was outstanding from ordering 1 hour before, through pick up. I gave this review 5 stars because every single detail was taken care of in the Party Pack. Fantastic carry bag to haul it out with, napkins, eating utensils, serving utensils, plates, serving trays, 3 kinds of salsa’s, pico de gallo, sauces, guacamole, sour crème, tossed salad,(cucumber, ranch, and vinagrette) dressings. I was a bit worried that there wouldn’t be sufficient quantities to satisfy the alleged 10 people the Party Pack was advertised it would. WRONG!!! There were so many left overs and everyone had 2nds or 3rds of something. I kid you not! EVERYSINGLE detail was covered. I was in and out in 5 minutes… much to the dismay of the long queue. hahaha They even provided paper to go bags in case you wish to split up the left overs amongst the crowd. Baja Fresh Gresham is obviously doing all the right things in order to impress me and still possess a queue all the way to the door. Other businesses should be so fortunate.

This place is great, usually very clean and quiet later in the evening. The food is awesome and always made fresh. I’ve never had a bad experience here.

Good food horrible service. Been here a few times now and the last two times I’ve been here the service has been horrible. I lost my debit card recently so I was given a temporary card by the bank and when I went to use it, it declined my purchase. I didn’t have any cash at the moment so I had to come back but the cashier took humor in my embarrassment and was trying hard not to laugh. I came back twenty minutes later and made my purchase with the same card and you could see the look of surprise from the same cashier as if I were to get declined again. I was not pleased. Tonight I came here and I decided to use a coupon my room mate gave me and the cashier acknowledged it and then charged me full price. I showed her the error and then she fixes it but does not apologize for the mistake or my inconvenience. In addition, this was a to go order and I was charged for the pico de gallo which is no big deal the fact that she gave me an empty container and expected to get it on my own was insulting. I could of just got the smaller containers and filled it myself for free. In conclusion don’t expect any good service here. I always get food to go here and unfortunately there aren’t any other baja fresh locations close by so I guess I just have to put up with this crappy service. THISLOCATIONSUCKS…

When I moved up to the Portland area from Southern Oregon, Baja Fresh was one of the first places I ate at. They’re delicious! I love the fact that their food is fresh and not processed or stored in cans, etc… The Chicken Ultimo Burrito is my favorite. I would prefer them to Taco Bell any day of the week, except… THEYAREEXPENSIVE for what you get! It’s hard for two people to be in and out for less than $ 15 dollars. It’s a mix between fast food and a sit down restaurant. I’m not sure how I would classify them… perhaps quick serve. It takes about 5 – 10 minutes for the food to be prepared because it is fresh. When I have the time and I was to «treat» myself, I’ll eat here. Otherwise I unfortunately just stick with Taco Bell.

I’m sure you know about Baja Fresh. The ingredients are fresh and the food is hot and prepared on the spot. However as others have said, BF is expensive for what it is. Sure they are fresh but most places around the area(Mexican) do the same thing. The food at BF is good and the portion sizes are about right. I really like their chips and salsa and if your looking for a good burrito I suggest the«Dos Manos» enchilado style. It’s one big burrito slathered in cheese and sour cream. It’s delicious and filling(you will have leftovers) but as I said it runs about 12 bucks and you technically could get something similar and of the same size at La Caretta for a lot cheaper. Come to think of it, I don’t really get why they are so expensive. Minus one star for pricing structure. All in all not a bad place to grab lunch if you don’t mind spending a little more.

I don’t do fast food restaurants. That being said, this does not have that nasty, greasy, not healthy vibe at all about it. The food is made with fresh ingredients: ie the wall says: no lard no can opener etc. lots of choices as well including fish tacos! They have a great salsa bar as well that you can grab as many salsas to throw on top of that healthy food. And it might be what 2.00 more per item then a gross fast food joint. heck you could save that money for not getting a heart attack on your doctor bill.
