This place is really unique. Located in the heart of Greenville by the falls, it has a comfortable atmosphere and a steady stream of people entering. My boyfriend got the house coffee, which we both enjoyed. I satisfied my sweet tooth with the create your own ice cream. You pick either chocolate or vanilla and each topping(0.50 $) is blended in and created into your personal ice cream. I went with blueberry cheesecake and it was very good. I got a waffle cone which tasted a little different than your standard for another $ 1. The prices add up, but the ice cream is good! There is free wifi for anyone who wants to do some leisure browsing or work at the coffee shop. I plan on doing my weekend work here in the future!

The coffee is pretty mediocre to me… Not the best coffee house in Greenville. Only thing going for it is the location and maybe the ice cream, that’s about it. I like the feel of the environment but the coffee needs so work

Awesome little place right near the park. Very rustic hippie vibe to it. Drinks and service was good. I’d definetly come back!

In the mood for something sweet or an afternoon pick-me-up? Spill the beans is the place to be. It’s across the road from Starbucks, but it seems get more business than the coffee giant does. And here’s why: The coffee — I can’t speak for specialty drinks, but as far as their regular coffee goes, it is always brewed well and a regular coffee comes out fast. They have your standard coffee station with sugar and cream as well as liquid sweetener if you don’t want to add sugar packets to your drinks. Ice cream — Tons of mix-ins are offered with your standard PET chocolate and vanilla ice cream. They also make waffle cones in the store. In addition to cream-based ice cream, they offer smoothies with whatever type of fruit you want. All the flavored I have tried are really good. They also offer a few basic pastries and sweets. A great place to go if you’re visiting the park with your kids or just hanging around.

If you love soft serve ice cream then let me blow your mind. You can choose from a gagillion toppings and they’ll blend it into your soft serve(insert mind blown emoji that doesn’t exist yet here). Oh I’m not done yet, they make their waffle cones and waffle bowls(for the spoonies out there) from scratch right in front of you while you’re waiting in line! It’s smushy yummy. Grab a treat from this place and head to my favorite spot in Falls Park(the theater-like seating area in front of La Passerelle… just a few steps down from Spill the Beans)

Wow. Line was a little long but we waited(and waited and waited) but it was so worth it. I got a hot fudge sundae with peppermint mixed in. One of my favorites. And it was so good here! My sister for a coffee milkshake and that was delicious too. I wish I lived closer so I could come all the time. The décor is adorable and a great location right by falls park.

Love coming to spill the beans whenever I visit Greenville SC. I’ve never been disappointed with the ice or coffee they serve there.

I wasn’t that impressed. Not so much the product as the service. Disinterested, borderline rude. Although I didn’t see a sign, the lady said there was a minimum purchase to use my card. I’m ok with that, but don’t let me find out at the counter after waiting in line and I just want a cup of coffee. There’s a Starbucks across the street. No minimum, better service.

Great location on the river in Greenville, SC. Moderate wait on a nice weekend, but it was worth it for blended coffee beverages for our group. Very friendly service.

Neat location in Greenville right on the river. Lots of room inside for work/study or groups. We did not try the ice cream so this is only regarding the coffee. The coffee was amazing. So amazing I researched where they buy their beans — Sumner, Washington. The espresso was flavorful but not bitter. My double espresso was smooth and needed no milk or sweetener. My wife’s cappuccino was also well prepared, not too much milk like so many baristas tend to do. Wish Spill the Beans was in my neighborhood. Greenville is lucky to have it.

Beautiful day in Greenville decided to get some coffee and ice cream. Disappointed in there service girls behind the counter to preoccupied with other things. Service was very slow and customer service was very awful as well. My name was never called other names were said and how can you confuse vanilla and chocolate?

BUMMER! I must say, my last visit to Spill the Beans, before last Saturday’s was amazing! I asked for a medium Reese’s ice cream on a waffle cone and it was HUGE, the toppings were plentiful and the waffle cone was so fresh! HOWEVER, I was incredibly disappointed with my visit last Saturday! Granted, they were busy and they did a great job keeping their perpetual 25+ customer line moving. Once I finally reached the cash register, the cashier kindly told me that they were out of waffles cones(at only 8pm? Don’t they prep for Saturday nights??) I kindly opted for a styrofoam cup but was sad because the cups offer a significantly less amount of ice cream than the cone for the same price! I ordered vanilla ice cream with Reese’s and Y’ALL, they gave me ice cream with ground chocolate chips and dollops of peanut butter… I felt duped. Why not just tell me you were out of Reese’s? I would’ve just asked for M&Ms. So I go back in, feeling guilty somehow because I know how busy they are, but I mean, come on… chocolate chips and peanut butter? LOL! So I go back in and politely explain. The sweet cashier admitted that yes, they threw chocolate chips with a spoonful of peanut butter and called it Reese’s. She kindly asked if I wanted a refund or another flavor. So, I asked for M&Ms. What a slap in the face when I took my new bowl of ice-cream that was pure vanilla ice cream with a small dollop of M&M ice cream on top. I paid for an ice-cream that comes with three toppings, people! So, because they were busy, I pitied them and did not return to the cashier for a third try. Won’t be back. I know I’m ranting about first world problems, but it’s the principle of the thing!

The ice cream is great, I usually order their blueberry cheesecake ice cream because it is amazing! I was bummed to find out they were out of the pumpkin spice cheese cake ice cream the day I went in during the fall, I was so looking forward to it.

Today’s national coffee day so I’m gonna spill the beans about Spill The Beans! I was expecting a store where people make a mess dropping beans all over the place while they gossip with the gals. Don’t get your hopes up. Turns out it’s a coffee and ice cream shop which is still pretty cool… I guess. The coffee is pretty good and there’s tons of options, but if you’ve already been caffeinated for the day, opt for a sweet treat. My chocolate ice cream with berries was perfect. I love how much space they have for meeting up with friends or making the space your mobile office for an hour or two. If you want a little privacy check out the side room at one of the back tables for a meeting.

Spill the Beans has lots of great qualities. Location — right downtown next to Falls Park. pretty patio area and a very spacious inside with a decent amount of plugins. However, if you have a toddler/crawling child, don’t sit in the front lounge-y area as there is a wide enough drop off ledge by the window to where the kiddo can fall in it. like 1.5 foot deep, but still. Ice cream/Frozen Yogurt — Smooth and tasty with generous portions and lots of toppings can be added. The base flavors are vanilla or chocolate then you garnish from there. Almond milk lattes! Strong espresso taste with a little sweetness from the almond milk. Yum.

How fun! This café has an excellent location right next to the Walkway, and has an abundance of seating both inside and out. They have very good coffee, and they have a really cool ice cream situation-you select vanilla or chocolate and then«toppings» that end up getting chopped and mixed in evenly with your dessert. I had vanilla with coconut and pineapple and it was stellar! It’s a very lively place, even at 9:45pm on a Monday.

I like to support local especially when I travel, but Spill the Beans is directly across from a Starbucks, and I wish I’d gone there instead. The fella and I popped in on a Saturday morning around 9:30, and we were the only people in there. Maybe because the guy behind the bar are so cranky? We asked what the«Shot in the Dark» was and got a curt response, so we just ordered regular coffee. When we got them and went to ask where the condiments were, he was already gone. The atmosphere is really cool with comfy seats in the front window to people watch and a HUGE area for seating, but the coffee was pretty thin and the service was — in the words of Charles Barkley — turrrible.

Just went here and they have done some remodeling while I’ve been away. The bar has been repositioned and the coffee maker is now to the right of the entrance. They also painted the bar a light color adding more light into the room, which it really lacked. The coffee is still and so is the location and views and size of the place. However, there’s still the problem of price. The biggest problem I have with Spill The Beans is their bathrooms. With a place that gets so much traffic you would expect some bigger and cleaner bathrooms. The men’s restroom doesn’t even have a divider between the urinal and sink! That makes things awkward when someone opens the door. The bathrooms are always smell and are filthy. Although the remodel did open the store open nicely, I had to give a lower rating due to the dirtiness of the bathrooms.

Good quality coffee! Had my fiancé stop in to get our coffees(I had the dogs). The wait was not bad, she returned in about 6 minutes. The coffee was hot and had just the perfect balance of sugar and cream. Easy to get to, especially if you are visiting the Falls!
