Michelin On Main

This is actually a Michelin storefront on a corner near a Starbucks that peddles neither solely tires (ha, get it?) nor solely restaurant guidebooks.

Because of the prominent presence in the town of Greenville, Michelin actually has a store in Downtown Greenville. No, you cannot order your 19″ with chrome rims, but you can buy any kind of novelty souvenirs, from posters to tees to hand sanitizer with a rather serene looking Michelin Man on the cap.
Speaking of Michelin Man, if you walk half way up the stairs, you will surely run into this store’s attraction: 7 feet tall Michelin Man that you can take a photo together, with the nifty (and convenient) iPad setup. After confirm the photo is good, you can choose to post on social medias, or email it to any recipients. No actual camera or cameraman needed. and You get some bragging right. I know I did.

Just attended a business reception there, and the facility is great! They convert a retail store into a wonderful event facility. All the fixtures are rolled off the main part of the floor, the cash register area is used as a bar, and blue draperies are used to convert the space to «not a store» any more. Fabulous location for an event for 15 – 80!
