I love the quick turn around Pink Azalea has for personalized/monogrammed gifts. They’ll even do it same day while you are shop if you need it right then! My girlfriend loves her monogrammed Vera Bradley bag I got her. I’ve taken hats, laptop bags, etc to have them personalized with my name on it also. I highly recommend them for fast, thoughtful, personalized gifts or having your items from home personalized. This friendly small business has great customer service that keeps you coming back. Keep up the good work Pink Azalea!

I went into Pink Azalea while exploring downtown Greenville one evening. The sales ladies working here were so friendly and helpful. I had my dog with me and I loved that I was able to bring him into the store. This place has monogrammed everything! From toilet paper to rain coats to boots to purses. I really liked their wood monograms and their places are competitive with places like Etsy. It’s a great place to come get a gift. They even have cute ideas for bridal parties and baby shower gifts. The turn around time for their monograming is super quick. I was getting a dress monogrammed and it was done in two days. I definitely recommend stopping here if you are in Greenville!

I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical after reading several of the reviews, and it did take several, several phone calls to get them on the phone, but they are the only store in town that had the item I was looking for. However, when I was able to talk to someone, the customer service was absolutely amazing and they even monogrammed my item within two hours so that I could pick it up the same day.

I have two words for potential Pink Azalea customers: caveat emptor. Seriously, take your business elsewhere. After experiencing an incredibly disappointing and dishonest web transaction with this store, I would not recommend shopping here to anyone, online or otherwise. I advise individuals to frequent other boutiques. The short answer as justification for my one-star review is that they took my money for products they did not have in stock and then proceeded to avoid me for nearly two weeks. The long answer is even more damning. Pink Azalea’s problems were numerous: A.) This business falsely advertised available items on their website that they did not have in stock, yet the site’s interface allowed customers like myself to transact purchases regardless. This could be rectified with a simple«Out-of-Stock» function that disables online customers to make a purchase, or even adding a «Back-Ordered,» or «Pre-Order» flag next to these out-of-stock listings to indicate transactions will take longer than usual. These simple solutions could have solved this debacle entirely, yet here I am writing a one-star review because these options were not employed. Therefore, it gets worse: B.) Regardless, this business took my money for products not rendered, and never bothered to write or call me to explain that the items were not available. Instead, they held on to the money and just left me in the dark. Piece of advice: If an item is not in stock in your store, you do not take a customer’s money. If an item is back-ordered, you don’t process the payment until the product arrives from the supplier. Doing so is a bad, if not shady, business practice. That is what Pink Azalea did to me: they took my money for products they did not have and then they did not respond to messages over the course of many, many days. Before anyone whines about, «maybe they didn’t realize these items were not in stock,“or «maybe they were busy and didn’t update their website,» these problems could have easily been solved by, 1.) checking their stock and 2.) working late and updating the website to reflect the stock. Also, saying«I didn’t know» isn’t a good excuse from a business when taking payments. When they realized the items were not available, Pink Azalea could have called my number provided on the order invoice, or sent an email apologizing and offering a refund or an exchange for similar products of equal value. But this did not happen, so: C.) After waiting eight business days, I made multiple attempts to reach out to this business as to my order’s status, and they did not respond to my inquiries. Only after I finally called the store this afternoon did this put them on the spot. I suspect this most likely forced their hand into telling me the truth: The products had not been in stock at the time I made my purchase, yet they withdrew the money from my bank card two business days later, not knowing if the product was available or if they could even obtain more from the supplier. Then they avoided all contact with me for nearly two weeks. Let’s be honest. That’s pretty crappy. Once I was on the phone with the store, I suddenly received an email from an employee, Mary, who said the watches I ordered were out of stock, but I could pick two replacements from the still-available watches pictured in the email attachment. Ironically, her stock photograph included the two watches that I was told were unavailable. Sloppy. The saving grace of this store is the employee who answered the phone. She was kind, polite, articulate, and very apologetic. She apologized profusely and asked for my card information to run the refund after I told her I did not want any replacement items. This employee had to do the dirty work of talking to an unhappy customer. Shame on the managers and/or owners who avoided all contact with me. It was their poor business practices that started this boondoggle in the first place, and they should have had the leadership qualities and the maturity to speak with me. Sadly, their late apologies and half-baked mea culpas will not salvage another star out of me. It is my sincerest hope that this store proceeds with my refund in a more timely and professional manner than with my previous transaction.
