I have stopped at this K&W Cafeteria a time or two while headed back home from school. They are nice, open and spacious with plenty of windows for the sunshine to come through.
since I am from Raleigh I must say that this location is far superior to the location in Raleigh that I am used to going to. The food taste much better, and the location is much cleaner with better maintenance.
So when in town, this is a nice spot to eat at.

Great place for good quick service. I think the food is really good. My favorite thing about this place «THE PUMPKIN PIE» OMG I love it. I always get a whole pie to go. They know me just by the pumpkin pie. The minute I walk in they know why I am there. Where else can you also get amazing Fried Green Tomatoes. Staff is wonderful. Shannon, Rita just to name a few. The manager Tim is super nice.

One of my favorite places to get a quick home-​style meal. So many choices. The best value for the money.
When it’s cold outside, come here for chicken & dumpling, baked chicken, or liver & onions with rice & gravy. They have a large dessert selection. When I walk out of this place, I feel great… eating a warm cooked meal without denting my pocketbook and messing my kitchen.
You don’t have to tip here, but we always do.

I love these old school cafeteria’s, the blue hairs got it right, down home, decent grub. I love those canned green beans, chopped steak with gravy, canned corn, does not get any better than this. LOL! Be careful in the parking lot you’ll get yourself killed right quick if you don’t keep your eyes peeled. The line start at about 4pm for the early bird, go getcha some!

If you miss dinner at your Nursing Home, you’ll fit right in with the crowd at K & W. Greasy, southern buffet — and really not terribly special or tasty. If you’re under 50, you’ll be the youngest person in the place.
