Golden Corral Family Steak House

The food is awesome. The service is fantastic! My only complaint is that the bathroom only has hand blowers. Not everyone wash their hands when they use the bathroom. I prefer to not touch the doorknob a paper towel to hold the door handle would be nice. I used my top.

I don’t why I keep going back to this place, I guess it’s because it’s cheaper than the rest when you are on a budget. Anyway, the food sucks. The ribs was dry not moist and the other different types of ribs like the boneless was dry and salty too. I have always loved their fried chicken (breast) this time is was so hard and dry that I was so disappointed that I didn’t even leave the waitress a tip. She was kinda of annoying because she kept coming over and asking the same thing over and over again. Nothing against her but the food was not good at all. I felt like I waste $ 31.00 for bad food. Especially on my birthday. Highly disappointed and I will not be back at all this year. If you want to have a choice of different kinds of food you better get there like 4 pm because then they are putting out more food or the food is hot. Some of the food stayed too long under the warmer and became dried out like the boneless ribs and the fried chicken. I can cook better than that at home which I should have done in the first place.

Some of the food could have been a bit warmer, but that’s a given for most buffets. Other than that, everything was good. The place was clean and the food bars well stocked. Crystal was an amazing waitress. Kept my table clean and my drink full. All with a smile and a pep in her step. Nothing worse than having a sour waitress.

the food is good. and affordable as for customer service I didn’t have any interaction with the staff .but it’s a great place for family on a budget.

This Golden Corral has been at this location for many years. It was recently remodeled and now featured the new GC «stations» concept. fitting this concept into an existing facility causes some unique wall angles, but I think they managed to make it work well. In fact I like the layout better than the new Golden Corral that opened earlier this year in Raleigh (Capital Blvd.)
The stations include seafood, american comfort foods, mexican, italian, asian, salad & dessert. All of the stations had lots of variety and more pleasing presentations than the old style GC buffet line.
I went for lunch and enjoyed many of my GC favorites. Haven’t got up the nerve to try the chocolate fountain yet!

The newly renovated Golden Corral Family Steakhouse is more than merely a steakhouse. This is a continental buffet with variety.
They did away with GC’s traditional assembly line style buffet, and in place now are many stations featuring different styles of cuisine: Tex-​Mex, Chinese, seafood, Italian, and of course Vegetarian.
The food quality is one of the best from all the GC, you will rarely find leftover that’s been sitting under the heating lamp for way too long.

The NEW Golden Corral is well worth the visit. Food was GREAT and hot.
Don’t let your past experience with the old Corral keep you from going, you will enjoy the food and service.
