My wife and I are business profs at ECU and went there to try it because my wife’s former student is one of the owners (Greenville is a small town — hard to avoid such connections). Not expecting much, I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. We went on a Wednesday for lunch, when bottles of the house wine are discounted. The Kids loved their meals, and I was thrilled to discover the ONLY Texas style BBQ we’ve had here (HATE the vinegary Carolina style). The collards side was delicious too, and the servers were very friendly and attentive. I forget what the wife had, but she liked hers too — so much that we’ve been back several times in the past few months. For a fun, casual atmosphere and reasonable prices, with the understanding that this is «pub» style food and wine, it’s really great and we would strongly recommend it.

Two main highlights: they smoke their hot wings and then deep fry or grill them. They are pretty good. Second is that they have $ 1.50 PBRs. Other than that, just an average bar.

Great service, above average food and great drink specials. An awesome place to go for drinks and food any say of the week. Live music most nights, so head in before 9pm to avoid cover and the crowd.
Highlights of the menu include mac n cheese, pork chop dinner, burgers and catfish poboy.

Came here for a weekday lunch with a friend. They have typical pub fare with indoor and outdoor seating options. They also have a small indoor stage for musical acts (presumably by local artists).
I ordered their pimento BLT by the suggestion of the server. I’ve had better pimento cheese — it was too thick/​creamy here and had a stronger mayo flavor than cheesy flavor. The sandwich comes with a single lettuce, maybe two slices of bacon, and a fried green tomato. It comes on a wheat bread, which was actually really good. Maybe it was all the butter.
The mac n cheese was just okay too. Nothing special, though extremely cheesy with unmelted cheddar cheese sitting on top.
Overall, good service with decent food.

Great bar! Went on a Thursday night during a music festival that they were hosting a show for, and the place was busy and rolling! The music was great, the vibe easy, and the beer quite good. Will be back, a recommended stop on a bar hopping night!
