The food is good for the price and service is fast. Most of the food is made fresh from scratch and is not pre-packaged which is good. It is located downtown

This restaurant is one of a couple of NC locations. I didn’t really go to Armadillo Grill when I lived in Carrboro because Carrburrito’s is my mexican restaurant of choice in that area. But, when they opened in Greenville, it quickly has become a staple of mine. It’s a nice walk from campus on a warm day, and lunch is filling and inexpensive. The steak is my favorite filling, and as others have said, the tortillas are really delicious. The only negatives I can think of are that the ordering scheme is goofy, and I wish they had more salsa varieties.

Decent food, nice screens, and plenty of seating. The parking is a little difficult to find, but is nice and close. It is around the corner on Evans just South of 5th Street. The ordering process is a little confusing to me – you fill out a form on a paper and hand it to the cashier. Seems a bit over the top but gets the job done.

Clean, inexpensive, and fast. Great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. The queso is some of the best I’ve had.

Surprisingly, a good place for quality microbrewery drafts. Since closure of Ham’s, best spot for good/North Carolina beers!

Clean, efficient, and really friendly. I do enjoy Armadillo Grill, but for me it’s not my go to place cor downtown food. I agree with Kimber P., the menu is confusing to the point where I’m not sure I’m making the right decision meal wise. It is delicious, though, and well priced. A great deal for the average college student.

I am definitely a fan of the Armadillo Grill… the service is quick, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is nice, I bring my 2-year-old and only get a few annoyed glares when she starts throwing food off the table. I DONOT like the menu(everything’s written out and you check off what you want), but they aren’t sticklers about it — and I may just be easily confused. I agree with Kuanyu C., the tortilla shells are delicious. I always get crispy, my daughters like the soft. Both are delicious and always fresh. The wings are pretty good and cheap at around $ 3 for 5, which is all you need if you’re adding them to a meal. The rice, while not always exactly fresh, is a great compliment to the tacos(we put the rice on our tacos). We go here to pig out and I can usually spend less than $ 25, definitely worth 4 stars.

very quick service, sports bar atmosphere, clean and neat, friendly staffs. This place make their own tortilla skins and not store bought, makes it taste just a little better than the any other southwestern grubs. You can place order to one of the few prearranged platter, or, you can choose your own taco meats(or cheese, guacamole and veggie) and add your favorite fillings, southwestern style. P. S. my suggestion is the beef, good quality sirloin tips.
