Fitzgerald’s

This place was pretty good. I went here last night with my girlfriend, it was my first time actually eating there but she’s been there a couple times before and has always said it is good. The drink I ordered there was actually the best thing I got there, so it’s clearly a better bar than restaurant, which is fine. And the food wasn’t bad, the fries pickles were a great appetizer, but my burger sliders were a bit dry and did not come with the barbecue sauce that was promised on the menu. Also, we had a very nice waitress but someone forgot to bring us a salad that we ordered (she said that she told someone in the kitchen and they just never brought it so it wasn’t her fault) but the waitress just ended up taking it off the check and it was fine. They were pretty busy so this may have to do with them forgetting to bring food or put sauce on my burger. I would go again, but maybe during a quieter time of day.

Visiting our daughter for the ECU homecoming when she decided this would be the perfect place for us to watch the game. She was right. We arrived a bit early to ensure we had a table. Let the waitress know when we were seated that we were there for the duration of the game. Had fantastic service. Manager had come over several times to check on things. Ordered appetizers throughout the game. Food was just the right mix and good. Prices were reasonable. Will be back again.

Great food and the bartenders are cool as hell! This is a great place to watch the game and go out at night.

This is the place to go… if you’re a student looking to party late at night. Don’t eat here. The food is average and the wait staff has always been bad in my visits. Any other restaurant downtown would be a better option to eat.

My husband and I split the blackened chicken wrap with fries. It was very good. They had great beer specials and other drink specials also.

Wow this place was bad. I visited Greenville for graduation weekend last weekend. This place probably had never had such a busy night like it had his weekend because they couldn’t keep up with the orders. It was a long wait for drinks, apps, and entrees. We had a table of 7 people and no one had anything positive to say about their dishes. A pasta dish was ice cold, a salad entrée was without any dressing (asked for blue cheese, got ranch), margaritas tasted like they came from a mix. Worst of all, either the waitress forgot to write it down or the kitchen screwed up, but one person was waiting 30+ minutes after all other entrees were out. Finally her burger arrived, after everyone else at the table was done eating, so we got it wrapped up and asked for the check. The waitress removed the burger from the bill which was the right thing to do but gave no explanation for the delay (she just kept coming over and telling us the ETA on the burger was ‘a minute or two’).
My bf’s dad spoke with the manager who looked all of 18. He said he’s speak with the waitress but offered no apologies. We waited a little bit for the waitress to come out but we gave up after nearly 10 minutes. At that point the place had cleared out so she was most likely avoiding us. Thankfully for her, we paid the check in cash and left the hefty change as her tip. We got dirty looks from the host as we walked out. Good luck Fitzgerald’s. You’re gonna need it.

Food wasnt anything special. Service was garbage. Over priced everything. Only good for the night scene, wouldnt go their for lunch again

I am writing this as I sit at the bar. Service slow. Then the computer system was rebooted so my order could not be placed with kitchen. Once he could he expected me to pay before my food arrived. Really??? Fish and chips. Very average. Frozen stuff deep fried

Great restaurant and bar. Delicious food and great staff. The crowd is classier than most bars downtown even during late night. They also serve a limited menu after restaurant hours.
