Prepare to wait 5 – 10 mins minimum just to order in the drive-​thru. Avoid it at all costs if you can. They aren’t very organized at this location either. Tip for the management… fix the drive-​thru speaker. You MUST double check your order every time. Current sanitation is a B.

I was leaving Kinston, NC on my way back to Virginia Beach, VA. I stopped and got 3 wings and a sweet tea. This was a treat to myself. I reduced my intake of fried foods. I was blown away by the taste of the food and the customer service. Those wings didn’t stand a chance!

Perhaps one of the worst meals for your health, but one of the best for your tastebuds. I go at least twice a month on Tuesday for their 2-​piece Tuesday deal — $ 3.99 for 2 pieces (leg & thigh), a side, a biscuit, and a 20 oz drink. I usually get an extra biscuit as well for a total of around $ 5.00 after tax. The biscuits are the kicker for me — hot, buttery, and salty. But, are you really looking for a Unilocal review about Popeyes? Come on now. My guess is you already have an opinion about their food so I’d quit reading and get eating!
