Had a good experience. Lady that took my order was very nice and gave us extra chips upon request. I’ve been to a different Baja restaurant and they charged me for more chips.

Honestly nothing special here. Went into Baja fresh optimistic and was let down. Food was nothing great and everything was under seasoned

I had a horrible experience in this restaurant. The cashier is very rude, her name is Eric S. The music is very loud & annoying. I also hate that electronic vibrating object that they give for notifying that the food is ready…

Love their fish and shrimp tacos. My husband thinks the fish tacos are the best. No one else is able to compete for him. Always super fast, and never too crowded. It is the place to go for a great taco!

UPDATED for a great visit. It has been hit and miss for us. over all, decent. but a lack of personal attention had us feeling sort of like company after a week. OK. maybe 4 or 5 days. HALEY. thank you for being so friendly and upbeat. You should be a manager there, or at least an assistant. and teach them to smile, be friendly, and engaging. It used to be that way 2 – 3 years ago. but sadly the GREAT people left to go find GREAT employers. Be GREAT Haley… and turn this place around with personality and attention to detail!

I am in love with the fish tacos here, I live 45 minutes away and I come by whenever I am in town. Salsa bar is great!

The Food overall is good I usually order the Burrito Ultimo or the Baja Burrito, the nachos suck 5 pieces of meat I counted them, the wife, the kids and myself go there 1 a month but they are getting«stingier» by the day, first one time my kid ordered taquitos and no more guacamole or sour cream or chips, then the burritos seem to be getting smaller, last time my daughters burrito was actually bigger than mine, then it was my wife’s nachos about $ 9.00 and 5 – 6 pieces of meat. Looks like they are struggling and cutting costs, I think they should close the place down instead of kicking away the customers by being so stingy, because the prices are still the same or more. My prediction, this place will close down soon, sadly, it’s a sign of the times!!!

I love their fish tacos. Corn tortillas, really great tasting fish, lime, cabbage, avacado. The only problem is they are on the spendy side and you need two of them.

Is this location as good as the others? No The crispy Wahoo fish was now crisp as the other store in Clovis

I previously reviewed this place but I came back here for some tacos and I must say I completely regret ordering them. The fish tacos(and all tacos I assume) are made with store bought tortillas. Granted, I eat those kinds of tortillas all the time but when the taco is served tostada style with a TON of cabbage and salsa layered on to make the tortilla cold and soggy is a a recipe for disaster. The grilled fish taco had no flavor and the crispy fish taco was only moderately better. The rice that comes with the combination is ok and the beans were terrible. Not even my baby would eat them and trust me — that kid eats everything. If I absolutely have to come back here, I will just stick to the burritos.

This is a good not traditional place to get Mexican style food. I am addicted to the nachos and if you are not a big eater order the ½ size not the full. Had their shrimp burritos this summer and they were fantastic. I love how efficient and friendly the staff is there also.

I was pleasantly suprised by Baja Fresh; I went in just expecting to get rid of my hunger w/out having to scarf down a fast-food burger. Ordered the seafood tacos; one shrimp, the other grilled wahoo complimented w/plenty of cabbage, pico de gallo and avocado. They came double-tortillad, yes I just made tortilla a verb. Also had the choice between pinto or black beans; rice and tortilla chips to boot. Decent salsa bar w/about 6 different salsas. Lots of food for $ 8.

I tried Baja Fresh on accident today. I was in River Park and was thinking I was going into Rubio’s, because I didn’t pay attention to the sign. Let me tell you, I should have gotten back in the car and gone across the street for the real WhiteMex deal. The whole layout just felt confusing and awkward, and I wasn’t super impressed with the visual display of their menu, but this is just a Graphic Design nitpick. I ordered two kid’s meals and two chicken salad burritos, but not before asking the cashier what was in them. She didn’t know, so she had to ask someone else who was familiar with the menu. She explains it, and it sounds white enough for me. I order two burritos and two kid’s meals, no drinks. and it came out to $ 23. You must be FREAKINGJOKING. I could(and have) go to Chipotle and feed a family of four, drinks and chips included for under $ 20. I got the food. The kid’s food was fine; we aren’t talking Whole Foods here, but I felt okay feeding it to them. The burritos looked okay, but they didn’t really taste like anything, and for $ 7 a pop, that’s pretty disappointing. Their chips SUCK compared to Chipotle. Stale, no salt. Yuck. Learn your menu, and either lower the prices or up the quality so I don’t feel like I’m being ripped off. This is what I get for cheating on Chipotle. There is no other.

Really tasty nachos and the chicken burrito is pretty good. I’ll definitely get the nachos again. First visit after a long time of not going there. I got two entrees(as suggested by another review) that turns out to be $ 11 for the nachos and chicken burrito, and there were some free chips thrown in as well. I got a soda also so that brought it up to $ 13. Pretty expensive, but worth every penny with the portions given.(I later found out if I use my live discount card, I’ll get free soda.) It got really really busy in just a matter of minutes of me being there. I went in about 11AM and it filled up fast. There’s actually not that many tables, though; thankfully I noticed they have some outside tables that are in the shade. Baja Fresh is on Blackstone between Nees and El Paso.

They have some GREAT Mexican food here. It is a great alternative to Taco Bell, which is nowhere close to authentic if you ask me. The food here is always fresh; you can see them cooking your food since the kitchen is not separated or behind closed doors. I always order a Caesar Chicken salad with avocados whenever I’m looking for something good to eat. Baja Fresh’s menu denotes spicy foods from those that aren’t so you know what level of spice you can handle. I personally think their food here is a bit healthier than Taco Bell. That’s just me, though. Baja Fresh has a salsa bar next to the side entrance, so while you wait, scoop some salsa, pico de gallo, jalapenos, banana peppers, etc. Now, their food is a tad bit more than I want to pay, but they are in generous portions so you get exactly what you pay for. Staff here is nice. I don’t think I’ve had a bad experience here, yet! Try it out for yourselves! You will NOT be disappointed!
