Tips: — Get carnitas, not chicken — Add hot sauce if you’re a fan of that(there was only tapatio left, which, eh) — expect a line — cash only(it’s a food truck, duh!) When I have tacos, I can’t help but compare them to my gold standard, Tacos Don Memo in Philly(«philly?» you say, and yes, philly.) After checking Unilocal,I picked up a carnitas tostada(recommended) and a chicken taco(just my usual fave). I enjoyed the tostada, but I realized that it was because of the sour cream and crunchy-ness, not the actual flavor. When I just ate the carnitas, that’s when I truly enjoyed the flavor. Next time I’ll be trying shrimp and carnitas tacos(with hot sauce!) Hopefully that will be as good as Don Memo’s

Love this truck. I live in the neighborhood so it’s an easy walk, but even if I had to go out of my way I would. This isn’t some nonsense fancy food truck. No gimmicky name or goofy angle: just tasty food. The wait can take a little while if there’s a line. It’s a a small truck, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Relax and wait. It’s worth your while!

I love the tacos at this truck. You will most likely wait a bit but the tacos are well worth that wait!

No doubt about it the BEST tacos the best! Brought my coworkers here now they want to come 3 times a week. The prices are awesome! I mean come on $ 2 for a SHRIMP tacos and I mean that taco comes loaded with shrimp. My favorite things to get: Shrimp burrito or taco hands down my favorite shrimp in every bite and I mean every bite! Also Shrimp galleta which is a long huge saltine cracker with mayonnaise, Shrimp, diced cucumbers and half an avocado! Delish! I just wish they would open later on Sunday’s! Defiantly give this place a try it’s a must if you are in NILES!

I’m back and I haven’t been here in almost seven years. The mixta tostada and shrimp tacos were superb as usual. No hot sauces left on the counter or extra tostadas, but can’t really complain when it’s the best Mariscos in town. I will be back!

If I could give them 6 stars I would. Their food is by far the best mexican food I’ve had in my life! I’ve been to Niles a trillion times and never paid any attention to the taco truck, until I was absolutely starving one day and didn’t want to sit down at restaurant. I was shocked at how good the food was. I hate to say it but I’ve only ordered 2 things off the menu, the carne asada tacos & their carne asada super burrito(which is huge I usually split it with my BF and were both stuffed from the one burrito) and both are excellent. They are both reasonably priced as well, especially the super burrito which is on $ 7. There is typically a line at lunch time and I’ve waited in line up to 30 min, but its well worth the wait. They are also CASHONLY!

Got their tacos during the vintage car show. It is to die for!!! The best tacos in Bay area. The jalapeño that comes it is really good. I wld suggest getting an extra one too. I need 3 tacos to fill me up.

Probably the best street tacos I’ve had in Northern California. Friendly vendors and the spot seems popular with the locals. I only tried the shrimp, el pastor, and lengua tacos but the shrimp or seafood cocktail look bomb. Will be getting that next time for sure. The lengua taco was my favorite.

While the proliferation of gourmet food trucks has made me forget about the standard«roach coach,» I will rarely turn down a truck with good Mexican-style street tacos. There is just something very satisfying when eating 2… ok, fine, 6… delicious street tacos. I’m not talking about flour tortillas filled with meat, beans, rice, sour cream, and/or guacamole. I’m talking about 2 small corn tortillas, with Carnitas, some cilantro and onions and of course hot sauce. That’s it! So simple, but probably one of the best things on the planet! At Tacos Negris, they also have some good shrimp and fish tacos. I wish I could type that other things on the menu are great, but I can’t! Not because they suck, but because I haven’t tried anything else! The tacos always call my name when I park into a spot and am walking to the truck. Now, a little bit about that truck: It’s small. Don’t be thinking it’s your Chairman Bao or Señor Sisig kind of truck. Think more like a bigger size version of the ice cream truck you chased after while growing up. You know, when you wanted that Fudgesicle or Bomb Pop or Strawberry Shortcake. Mmmmm, I want ice cream now…

This was not the business last night. Was super excited to try burritos again being last time was so good. Eats : 1 Lenga taco 1 Carnitas taco 1 Pastor super burrito 1 Asada super burrito The tacos were great ! The burritos were small, filled mostly with beans, rice. There was hardly any meat. Salty. Super salty. Almost was not edible. All u could taste was salt. Left a bitter taste in my mouth. My stomach was upset all night. I’m very disappointed. I won’t be going out of my way to come here anymore. Maybe if in the area we will just get tacos.

Hmmmm 3 stars or 4, I Cant do 3.5. Let me flip a coin. Here is the issue. I have seen many reviews lately and blogs about the best tacos in the Bay and I constantly see this place on those lists. I liked them, don’t get me wrong, but their are better places around. If im in the area driving by and craving a taco, I will stay, but I don’t think I will ever make a special trip for one. The burritos are also pretty good.

If I could, I would give a billion stars. I grew up surrounded by an abundance of Mexican food in Southern California and I have eaten more burritos here over the last 3 years than anywhere else in my entire life. Carne asada, chicken, carnitas, vegetarian, shrimp. Each time, the burritos have been LEGENDARY. And by that, I mean, these burritos go beyond the-good-for-a-hangover, or I-want-some-comfort-food types of burritos. These burritos are of the last-meal-on-Earth-before-I-die genre. In a word, Epic. When I was in high school, I took a philosophy course that mentioned Plato’s theory of forms. Using the analogy of a chair, the chair you have in your room is an imperfect copy of the Chair, which is the concept of a perfect chair that underlies the construction and classification of all chairs in existence. I bring this up only to point out that Plato was in desperate need of a good burrito fix… aaaaand that I pity him for not ever being able to taste the Burrito from Tacos Negris! …I think I am more in love with this Mexican food truck than my boyfriend.

Been wanting to try this place and was able to get to then 25 minutes before closing. $ 1.50 per tacos. Got chicken, asada, pastor, and carnitas. Each one was individually wrapped. The tacos are good however there was too much season or their sauce on them that masked the flavor of the meats so I personally didnt like it. My boyfriend said it was good though. My review is solely based on the ceviche. Omg the best and really fresh i ever had. I ordered the small family size so it came with crackers and tostadas. The crackers had a weird taste and smell so i tossed them. The tostadas were fresh and crispy. Thursday was a hot day so the ceviche was actually cool and refreshing. Wish there was more meat and chunky. I was given a whole avocado so i chopped it up and ate it with it. It was bombdotcom! Totally for the $ 11 tub! Wish they were open later!

My favorite taco truck in Fremont. They aren’t open as late, but definitely worth the drive to Niles. There’s always a line. my order: ceviche Steak Quesadilla 4 tacos(2 shrimp and 2 steak) The seafood was exceptional. They are very generous with he meat portions. the fish and shrimp tastes really fresh and juicy, The quesadilla was huge I love how the package the taco order on a styrofoam plate and Saran Wrap it It’s a great place to walk around Niles and see all the small shops

Tacos Negris is parked at the self-serve car wash. There is plenty of parking in the nearby parking lot. I had three tacos today: al pastor, camarones, and lengua. The lengua(beef tongue) was my favorite! Soooo tender. The camarones came in second for me. And then the al pastor was my least favorite. I’d come back for three lengua tacos though! I’m not a fan of corn tortillas. The cashier didn’t give me an option of flour though. Next time I’m back, I’ll ask if there is any available. I’ll probably try the super burrito next time!

What is there to complain? Even with their recent price increase, it still beats out most of the Mexican restaurants in the area. For $ 6.50 a burrito and $ 1.50 a taco, they sure don’t jip you on the ingredients!!! While other places tend to over stuff it with rice and beans. I ordered Carne asada, shrimp and lengua taco. Boy was it good!!! Words can’t describe how much I love this place for its price. To sum it up, try it for yourself! Won’t be disappointed

Fdjkalsfjdkaslj. It should be illegal for such delicious and authentic food to be contained only within a food truck, but I guess that can ensure that the quality will remain bombdiggity. Ordered a carne asada super burrito, a few shrimp tacos, and lengua taco. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious, but my personal favorite was definitely the super burrito. For $ 6.50(what a steal) you get your choice of meat plus beans, rice, guac, cheese, sour cream, and more. WHATWASSOAMAZING was the guac didn’t come with an extra cost and they give you a lot; every bite came with some yummy guac in it. The meat was also tender and flavorful. My only complaint is it was a bit salty. The shrimp tacos were also good, and the shrimp was fresh. The lengua had texture(not mushy like I’ve had elsewhere before). The food is priced reasonably and the quality is there. LONGLIVETACONEGRIS! I will be back soon: P. TIP #1: CASHONLY! TIP #2: Fish tacos are only available FRIDAYS for $ 1.50 ea. TIP #3: No seating, but there’s parking so you can either get to-go or eat inside your car.

Kind of upsetting. Ive been looking forward to coming here for so long. I ordered shrimp taco, carne asada taco, and al pastor super burrito. Shrimp taco: cooked onions and chopped shrimp. The shrimp had an off flavor may be not super fresh or it was just a strong taste. Corn tortilla was nice and pliable. Carne asada: better. Meat was cooked well. Both tacos served w a lemon wedge. Super burrito: many raved about al pastor so I ordered it. Not as great as everyone made it seem. .strong spices when tasted like cinnamon was slightly overpowering. Meat tender. Just not thrown on the grill as I like it. Thick burrito for $ 6.50 was a deal though. Nothing made me want to finish it. wouldn’t come all this way for it. Nice ratio of cheese, cream, avocado, onion and cilantro to the refried beans, rice and meat. It wasn’t overly greasy which was good. Maybe ill try it with another meat instead. Lesson learned: skip pastor and shrimp taco here :/
