Oh snap! Mexican food truck in the tiny town of Niles! After a hot Winter day, we were dying for something refreshing that wasn’t Tea Time or your standard burger offering. Wait, is that a taco truck that says ‘TACOS’ and a picture of Mexican Jesus across it? Boom. We immediately grabbed a grip of shrimp and carnitas tacos. Both were fantastic, but the shrimp is the clear winner here. You got all these people eating crackers with a giant bowl of ceviche. They obviously know what’s up. Service can be slow, so just walk around until the lines die down. Then get some shrimp tacos. Or ceviche. Or both. Then eat it at the park next door. They’re g-r-r-r-eat!

This might be the best Mexican food in the Bay Area! The seafood is the best and always amazingly fresh. I love their shrimp cocktail where they load up on jumbo, delicious shrimp and fresh avocado. It is served with crackers or tortilla and feel free to ask for more shrimp or avocado when you order. The shrimp burrito is killer. They use the same juicy shrimp and the flavor is amazing when grilled. It has all the fresh goodies and is hard to finish, but I always manage. They are closed on Monday and charge $ 1 for soda. They ladies who work the window are very friendly and attentive. The taco truck is a great value for delicious Mexican food. I have never had a bad meal here.

Wow what a taco truck! $ 1.25 tacos, $ 2.00 shrimp tacos, $ 5 regular burritos. And not only are they a great deal but they are relish! I’ve never had shrimp tacos like these. Small shrimp cooked up in a spicy sauce. And I mean spicy! In a good way. Hubby got the regular burrito with al pastor. It was huge and also really tasty. Usually burritos are overwhelmed by rice but in this case the meat really shines through in the perfect ratio. My only real gripe is that service was a little slow. But I think it wasn’t their fault. Someone ahead of us in line put in a large order that took a while to fulfill. Once we ordered it didn’t take long for our tacos to show up.

Also known as Negris Tacos, so go my full review under that. What I will say both food quality and prices are amazing.

This is the only taco truck I have been to that sells octopus. I’m not brave enough to try. and usually too cheap to spend the $ 12 bucks for the octopus but I can vouch for the beef tacos. The meat is good and the sauce they put on it – amazing! They’re loaded up with cilantro and onions, and definitely worth the $ 1.25. There is also a menu with pictures on the outside of the truck so non-Spanish speakers can figure out what to order. Mariscos is located on Niles Boulevard across the street from the old Joe’s Corner. You can’t miss it, there is usually a line of 3 – 4 people outside the truck.

This taco truck has been in the area for several years. At least 3+. I can appreciate a good taco truck and this one has GREAT seafood tostadas! It is located on Main Street Niles in the Car Wash parking lot. I did not ask the staff for their«real» business name, so I just Unilocaled it on what I saw on the truck which says. MARISCOS. Which in Spanish means seafood. This definitely seems to be the specialty. I ordered tacos al pastor here and was not happy with them. They were fair. I had a Shrimp and Ceviche tosdada for $ 4.00. They offer those as well as Pulpo.(squid, I think). This tostada is generous in size. First layer is a mixture of the white fish, red onions and some mayonnaise, finely ground. Second layer is chopped cucumbers. Lastly, are some fat slices of Avocado and a whole cut lime to drench it in! This party in your mouth will take you back to the shores of the Mexican coast. It was fresh, tasty, crunchy and yummy. She gave me some salt packets in case I needed some. I added ½ of one. There is a plethora of Hot Sauces on the ledge of the truck to choose from.(Although I must say, they probably don’t change them all that often and are exposed to the elements, as depicted by the crustiness of the tops of the bottles) This seafood tostada is juicy so be prepared. The man next to me said it looked Amazing, and it was a beautiful morsel.
