My rating for Joes Corner is conflicted as I want to rate it higher for the location and ambiance but knock it lower because its a sit down spot with a whack ass«everyone must order here» configuration like a 7 – 11 or something. If they cant train their staff to take orders at the table then they arent a professional restaurant, more like a hobby kitchen with beer. Another example if that is s 2 year old paper menu with appetizers taped up on a single had written sheet behind tbe register. Plus beyond a panini press, nothing on the menu is cooked, only assembled. If I wanted a sandwich I would stay home and make it myself and save $ 12. In any other location this place would be a solid 1.5* but because of its location and history I will give it a 3*. If there wasnt huge lines at the Vine all the time, this place would never get my business, spot of last resort in niles!

Place has a 12 beers on the tap, great choices good price. Very nice people. Coming here for past 3 years I always have a great experience. Best coffee drinks. What I like the most is the big window facing the street. Just sit down and watch the world go by.

Super friendly, quaint place. The food was good. Service wasn’t too fast, but that’s okay. This is more of a relaxing meal, not fast food.

We went for an early breakfast one morning and the service was so friendly and welcoming(I even chatted with the owner and her husband) that I returned a couple days later for pint night. Joe’s Corner operates like a small town neighborhood bar and café but in a refreshing twist the menu selection is great, the kitchen is very good, and the prices are darn reasonable!

We are locals to the Niles area and make it a positive habit to eat at Joes at least once a week! Joe’s is a staple point in Niles and we always make it a point to bring our friends and family there when we come to town. The beer selection is diverse and delicious, food exquisite and their team makes our dining experience even better!!! Our favorite is breakfast though. Yuuuuummyyyy!!! When the owner, Melissa is grinding in the morning, you know breakfast is gonna be incredible. The waitress Shareen is extremely friendly and makes a killer Latte as well. Stop by and see for yourself and for sure you’ll feel the same way we do!!! P. s. Joes does a «vinyl night» every Wednesday! Bring your records and have a glass of wine and kick back!

A nice small venue for a nice small town. The building blends right into the main street of Niles, carrying a historic/old-time ambiance. It’s an order-at-the-counter style place with two registers/counters, a coffee bar, a beer-on-tap bar, outdoors-facing bar seating, and two small tables outdoors.(It’s more small town family-friendly than anything else, despite the bar and giant neon sign) There’s a wide variety of things you can get here, ranging from breakfast to fresh pastries to coffee to craft beer to sandwiches. There’s no fancy presentation with the plating, and your orange juice will come in a plastic cup, but the food is simple and delightful. Staff here have been amazing and friendly on every visit. This place is my regular go-to for brunch if I’m out with some friends exploring the(also pleasant) area.

I checked out Joe’s on a Friday evening after work with a group of 8 people. When we showed up the place was fairly empty, which worked out well, since there were so many of us. But by the time we left it had filled up. They have a decent selection of craft beers and the bar tender was kind enough to let us sample a few before we made our selections. All of the staff was very attentive and we never had to wait long to get service. They also have a nice menu of food and we opted for a few appetizers. We had the meatballs and chicken wings. We were not impressed with the wings, but the meatballs were good. I would definitely go back for the beer and would like to give some of their sandwiches a try.

The food is fresh and tastes very good. I ate a couple of vegetarian sandwiches they were very good and the sicilian salad is amazing. They brew good beer. All good you order is nomad then and there before you. You can actually see them make your order.

Really nice place. The staff is super friendly, and they have a pretty good selection of beer on tap. Yankee fans beware this is a Boston Red Sox friendly bar. This place is still a really nice place to go to. The owner is from Boston, and on that day our group went here we met his wife. Of course my friends had to point out that I was a Yankee fan. I got a little hazing for that, but when she asked me all time favorite player on the Yanks was(Bernie Williams) I got a little less hazed. I had a really good time here, next time I will order food, there BLTs looked amazing.

This is a great a place for locals and out of towners. My aunt was visiting from Israel, so my mother, father & grandfather decided it would be a great place to take her for breakfast and lunch, especially since it’s down the street, on niles blvd. They were very much impressed, as it was one of the best food experiences they have had in a while. I highly recommend Joes Corner to my fellow Unilocalers, you won’t be disappointed! ;)

News ticker alert: «Joe’s» of the Town of Niles isn’t for schmoes. Nor is it necessarily just for the bikers’ crowd. They say it once was, according to city legend, but somebody put spruce on this goose. Not only is it a spic and span café, but it’s more family welcoming than I thought. I’ll be back. Eggs, bacon, home-style potatoes, biscuits and gravy with minced sausage, multi-layered meat BLT, melts, rubens, cinnamon french toasts, lunch sandwiches, pubby kind of subs ‘cuz since it is of course a self-proclaimed deli — all at streetwise prices. There might be a flashier place to eat in town with sassy dishes, but there’s hardly a place that’s quick, easy-going and hospitable like«Joe’s.» For you regulars here, I bet you didn’t know this — they know how to whip together a classy looking latte. I mean, if you are foregoing beer, get a good mug of tingly coffee instead. If it’s the weekend, they will show the game on TV, whatever game’s hot. So while this used to be just a dive bar that attracted leather studded bikers, now it’s a good spot any given day(except closed Mondays) that attracts bicyclists, beatniks, humble artists, librarians, old fogeys, antique hoarders, and parents with tots and tykes. #cheapeats

Great place to stop by for delicious sandwiches after strolling in Niles. The wait isn’t long, and the customer service makes you feel right at home. I ordered the Ruben sandwich with potato salad which were both amazing. Right amount of meat and sauce. First time I tried sauerkraut, and they were kind enough to put on the side for them. I would come again to try their other sandwiches! Only reason why it’s not 5 star for me is if it was a little cheaper, $ 9.50 for a sandwich is a bit pricey.

Joes isn’t really a secret, nor is it a secret that I love coming here Fridays after work. Great way to start the weekend and end the week. Friendly unpretentious people, delicious rotating menu of craft beers, and great«beer food» to complete a visit.

Their service is friendly and the food is filling and full of flavor. It definitely doesn’t disappoint. The only reason I’m taking 1 star off because the owner is a Red Sox fan. Go SF Giants!!!

Always a good place to get a sandwich and a beer. A tad expensive though. I had the Spicy Joe and my friend had something else, add two pints and a bag of chips came up to almost $ 40! That’s more than a bit much for my taste. YES, I know its family run. YES, I know rent in Niles, etc. But thats a bit pricey for lunch. That being said, I’ll be happy to come back. My sandwich was really good and my Green Flash, Soul Style IPA was great. I think I’ll save it for a special lunch occasion.

It’s an interesting crowd in here on a Sunday afternoon. Some family, some bikers, some basketball fans, young lovers and me. The main room in the place feels like an old bar and the selection of taps is more than adequate to pass the test. The front feels like a coffee shop and the selection of pastries in the counter pass muster. We called ahead and ordered 5 different sandwiches. I got to them all out, all of then were delicious. Ecen though we called ahead it took a while to get our order out. Understandable, they were on the busy side. It was a great break from the weekend work day to sit and wait. They have some comfy chairs near the back, we had no complaints about waiting. I’m going back for sure. I’m happy o have found a great sandwich option so nearby.

Not what I expected! Looks like a bar from the outside. haha! Service was 5 star! Super friendly, they made it feel like you were at someones home. Food was served hot just the way I like it. I ordered the Mozzerella and Pesto Panini with Pasta Salad. Very flavorful and really good prices! An employee walked by with a bowl of Clam Chowder and I had to try it. Glad I did! It was thick and had BACON pieces! Yummmmm!!! We ordered 4 classes of the Apple Ale(can’t remember the exact name) it was so good and gave us a great buzz… I only wish they had a better dessert selection.

Well look who’s all grown up, little ol’ Joe’s Corner. Back in the day, this space was one helluva dive bar. Seedy, stanky, punky, all the things that would attract degenerate, lackadaisical gen x ers. Now it is a coffee/sandwich shop. A quaint, country store feeling joint that baby boomers and weekend antique-ers would feel comfy in. Light wood, soft rock in the back ground, water color paintings, the new owners, though keeping the name has completely redefined the concept/mission. And you know what, it is good. Good for Niles, good for the commercialism of the locale The digs: Sandwiches are Italian style paninis, toasty, melty, meaty. They are modest sized, but they are dense and filling. Most meats are the cured Italian style, prosciutto, different salumis, capicolla, etc… I’ve actually found some of the sandwiches to end up a little salty due to these cured meats. I like to request some sort of veggie to break up the meat/cheese fest, arugula is real nice. Potato Salad is nice. Fresh tasting and quite mild. I originally felt it was a bit under-seasoned, but with the salty, cured meats from the sandwiches, you will be thankful for the mildness. Full coffee bar. Nice to have a cappuccino with my sammie. And the coffee is legit. Craft Brews on tap. They have at least 8 brews on tap, most local. Haven’t been able to indulge yet because I usually come here on my work lunch breaks. It’s nice to see both of us grow up together Joe’s. A real nice turn for the better.
