Excellent food and service. I have taken dozens of orders to go with no problems. The new location is great. Update 6÷1÷16. Bella is still so good. My friend who grew up in Italy was pleased.

I had a great experience here, the food was amazing and so was the service. I had the 4 cheese penne and my boyfriend got the French dip both very tasty! 5 stars from us!

Walking in, we are immediately greeted with a smile… cute fresh flowers at our booth… The smell of fresh garlic from the open kitchen makes us happy… The chef looks busy, not mean… Mom’s salmon penne is yummy and my linguini pescadores is so good! Lots of shrimp :) nice experience, a lil music would be nice next time thanks Bella Italia!!!

We are visiting from out of town, and decided to give this place a try based on the Unilocal Reviews. We were not disappointed! A very casual atmosphere. Could use some updating décor wise, but it was clean and the food was good, which is all that really matters. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed watching the chef cook as we waited for our meal. We both ordered the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. The sauce was very flavorful with fresh garlic and basil, and the pasta was cooked just right. I also enjoyed the bread that was served, a type of sourdough I believe. Service was wonderful. We definitely will be back if ever in the area again.

I like the food here but I am very disappointed on the marketing. The hours say 11 am on Saturday, We had some things to do in Eureka so thought we would go back here for lunch. They were closed. Door says 2 pm. we went back at 2 and they were still closed. I like reliable service and hours that aren’t correct due to marketing doesn’t set well with me. I am not sure we will go back. The food is good but not great enough for the weird hours and false marketing.

Life Preserver, Anyone? You and your food are going to need it…
This restaurant is in for an uphill battle. They don’t make you feel that you are welcomed here. They have the typical leave your money here on the table attitude which is so common in Humboldt County. Back to the restaurant, it lacks focus on its food. The menu looks thrown together. The décor is out of date and with no Italian theme to it all. There is no real sense of casual dining here. Spanish is spoken here. When the chef/​owner came to the table to tell me how he cooks, he came across as a micro manager and control freak. Let your wait staff take care of customers. The waiter looked afraid of the owner/​cook. Service was okay until the waiter got a couple of tables then I didn’t exist.
My chicken Piccata was drowning in water saucy along with my sauteed drown vegetables. My mashed potatoes needed a life preserver as well. The dessert was okay. At least they bring warm bread to the table. They are missing the olive oil dip that true Italian Restaurants offer.
Until Bella Italia gets a direction, drops the micro manager, and lowers its price. I won’t be going back. More evidence that the restaurant scene in Eureka is overpriced and under delivering. I would rather get a can of chef boyardee then go back to this place.

Craving Italian food one day with my boyfriend, so we decided to come here based on the good reviews. It was the right choice (: we both got the chicken Alfredo. it was the best Alfredo that I’ve ever had, and possibly the closest I’ve gotten to a real Alfredo. it was soo good, My compliments to the chef. Service was great as well, our waitor was attentive and friendly.

The chef cooks amazing ! I had the linguine pescadores and it’s now my favorite meal. The chicken parm has a side of the best mash potatoes and I wanna go here more often than I have time! I will be back soon and love this place. Super casual and clean. Minimal on the décor but the food speaks for the restaurant!

My fiancé and I just ate here and it was fantastic. We asked for a order of garlic bread and they said they didn’t have it on the menu but they would gladly make some which was delicious and great service. We shared an order on the chicken penne and one order was definitely enough for two people! The flavor was excellent we will definitely be stopping in again! Did I mention the great service?!

I love this restaurant. The pasta is great. Some of the best I have had anywhere. The other menu items are not great. But it is worth the visit just for the pasta.

Love this place I go there every chance I can! I have 2 favorites on the menu and now the waiter is guessing which one it will be… oh yeah, I always have the chief kick it up a notch with peppers, if you never been there give it a try

On a scale of 5 stars I give Bella Italia a 6! I had a most satisfying and tasty lunch today. I had a Greek penne pasta made with artichokes, feta cheese, olives, onion, capers, a few tomatoes, and garnished with Italian basil. I heartily recommend this for a light lunch.

Excellent meal. Enjoyed watching the chef prepare our dinners. Will definitely eat there again. Reasonably priced. The menu is small with nice choices but not overwhelming. 5stars.

Had lunch with a friend and we both really liked it. I had the penne pasta and he had the fettucine alfredo. The setting is not fancy but is kind of rehabbed functional and very clean. The chef works right in view so you see your dish being made.
The pasta was fresh and my penne was very flavorful, with artichoke hearts, olives and sundried tomatoes, in a light lemon/​wine sauce. Wine choices look pretty minimal but the place is new in this location, so hopefully that will improve.
I will definitely go back.

The menu is confused, the dishes are bland or overly salty and the prices are sky high. Dine elsewhere.

5 star taste! Eureka has a lot of great places to eat for its size but still top many of the Italian restaurants here. The atmosphere is far from the best but the food is amazing.
I hope they invest in a better dining area.
I highly recommend that chicken marsala and jambalaya. They taste amazing!
