We had a nice lunch here and the service was wonderful. They do appear to have a great wine and beer selection. I ordered a Margherita pizza and found it just OK. The crust was not very flavorful, nor was the sauce. Their salads, however, are really large and full of goodness. Hubs and I shared the Garden Green Salad and it was plenty for both of us– no skimping on the artichokes or tomatoes. John’s grandmother had the small Cran Apple Bleu salad and it was a good portion and looked very yummy as well. We’re not familiar with the pizza offerings of El Paso– but I hope there are better options out there!

One of the best places in El Paso to eat pizza. I have visited both east side and west side location and the experience is always great. The west side location is very welcoming, the medium size pizza serves about two people and has a lot of flavor. One of the best things that I liked about the place is that it has a large beer selection. Service is sometimes slow, specially on Saturdays, therefore not a place to eat if you are in a hurry. This restaurant is perfect for a relaxing evening ordering drinks while you wait. They also cook their pizza on a brick oven, which adds to the savory flavor

Nice décor but the pizza and salad, unbelievably bad. The crust lacks flavor. There were 10 of us. We ordered an antipasto salad, pepperoni, margherita, and arugula/prosciutto pizza Nothing blends well, it’s as if everything is heated separately then layered to serve. My 7 year old took a bite of the margherita and said he didn’t like it because the cheese had no flavor. The antipasto salad, a slice of individually wrapped cheese tossed in with pepperoni out of a bag.

Can’t say anything bad other than they don’t deliver, as Unilocal says they do. They do cater/deliver large orders only.

Ive eaten at both this one and the one in the northeast and both were good… Nothing I dream about but they are definitely decent establishments for some good food and casual dining. The cold cut plate was really great and full of many options for meat and cheese, the caprese cold sandwich was a bit bland and my son’s kids pizza wasn’t amazing either. Service was good.

My wife loves to order takeout from this establishment as she enjoys the Garden Green salad and Margherita pizza. For the life of me I can’t understand the attraction she has for what I believe is overpriced marginally good food; however, she’s my wife, so I elect to bite my tongue literally and sit silently. Of her two choices, the salad is the best, but not by much. Ardovino’s claims their Margherita is a house favorite; however, I find it hard to believe that this dish is anyone’s favorite. The Mozzarella on this pizza is so overpowering and voluminous that it does little to compliment the flavor of already weak tomato sauce and basil. The crust is usually soggy and consistent with the rest of this bad pizza. To be fair, perhaps the fact that the I’ve only eaten their pizza as takeout could be at the heart of my critique.

We were greeted and seated very quick and after 20min outside, we decided to move inside where there’s a warm atmosphere and dim light. We had mini calzones as starters and you can mix’n match them so we ordered two pepperoni cheese and two green chile cheese calzones. They come with a marinara sauce. We shared the Rucola parmigiana pizza and I like that it’s almost like real Italian pizza from Europe. Not deep dish or too cheesy but a good and generous amount of ingredients on top. The leaves were fresh and crisp which is always important when you order Rucola. Nothing worse than old greens lol All in all I can see us coming back there as the waitresses were all friendly and service was quick, too. It’s a nice restaurant for families but they have hear cute tables for two on the side as well if you’re feeling romantic ;)

I’ve lived in El Paso for a year and some change now and have been in dire search of that perfect pizza place. I’ve read many reviews of this place and had always been meaning to go, but unfortunately not many of my friends wish to drive on the East side just to try new places eat. I was lucky enough to have a friend help me out with something only because I bribed them with dinner and ice cream. You’d be surprise what a grown adult would do for ice cream, I know I was. We really couldn’t decided what to eat and I suggested pizza. We came to an agreement and I made a decision. I didn’t want to eat at one of the typical pizza places and this was my perfect opportunity to try this place. So we go inside and get seated immediately along with food menus, beer menus and silverware. The staff was amazing and so friendly. Made me feel right at home, if my home was a Italian pizza joint. What really surprised me at first was the beer menu. I was expecting a couple of beers on draft and the typical domestic and imports that the mass majority of restaurants stock, but no. There were beers there that I’ve never heard of or tried before. My friend was so excited because they stored his banana bread beer that he absolutely loves. I had ordered the Lambic Framboise which was this sweet cider and absolutely mind blowing. We then proceed to order The Woody. When they brought out this pizza my nose was just dancing from the excitement it smelled. Now before I finish hitting you with all these senses about the pizza I’ll say this one little negative thing. This place is beautiful but the lighting is very dim. I could see my pizza but not well because of how dark the restaurant is inside, but I’m not one to judge a pizza on whether it was aesthetic to my eyes either nor was my stomach. Now as soon as I took that first bite it was over I was sold. I was oh-ing and aww-ing my friend was giving me funny faces, but I didn’t care I was in food heaven. I wish to make this review longer but I must get some rest, but I will leave you with this, I definitely plan on returning very soon with more people and this time I will be ordering dessert. :D

Food is good. Pizza a little smaller than I would like. The large was listed as big enough for 4⁄5 however it was just big enough for my wife, an 11 year old, and me. The service is meh. We were greeted almost immediately upon entering(good!), however out server Tiffani had all the personality of a potted plant. Not a cactus, but more like a fern– looks good however that’s all there is. The only time she smiled was when bringing back my credit card. Maybe one day she will realize big smiles get big tips. Oh well. 3 stars.

This location serves great pizza. Service is usually good and promptly. Weekends can be busy and wait time can be long. Patio seating is always good as long as weather permits. Wide variety of wine and beer.

Friday night, 6:30 pm arrival. Left at 8 pm. Two in our party. Service: less than good… more robotic than anything else. Our server repeatedly walked away before we could answer her question, «how is everything?» Not sure if they are programmed to respond to anything other than«fine.» Just not professional. None of the employees looked happy. I didn’t see one smile all night. Food: overall good. The cranapple bleu salad was really good.

Im not one for thin crust, but I love their pizza. Fresh toppings make the pizza. Great variety of craft beers and wine. Cool atmosphere. Patio outside.

Never dissatisfied with the food! The only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is sometimes the service can be a tad sluggish. Other than that very enjoyable.

What you are paying for is the atmosphere. It’s a nice place to take a date however the pizza was pretty weak sauce. I would rather go across the street and eat Peter Piper Pizza that has more flavor and cost a little cheaper. Service was good and it nice to dine at a local place but I honestly think the pizza was well blah.

The BF and I visited this place based off of a recommendation from some of his co-workers. We have struggled to find super yummy food in ELP(I’m from LA and he has lived all over the world) as we both are foodies and sometimes food snobs. We were anxious to try this place since it seemed so popular and we were sick of the standard chain pizza. My two cents: –The service was great and we were tended to by friendly ladies at the bar –We didn’t have to wait for seating on a Friday night at 7PM –Antipasti was decent(the meat and cheese portion). They served it with wheat buns and water crackers which was more TX style than Italian. The buns were tasty though! — We ordered two pizza’s(Royal and Arugula and Prosciutto). We loved the Royal(peppers, feta, meat, etc.) and weren’t overly impressed with the flavors on the arugula one — LOVE their drive-up window for to-go orders(used this the second time we wanted to try them). This is great for ELPs bad weather days! –Lasagna with garlic bread was hearty and yummy(ordered it to go on visit #2) –Their food is better eaten while there so that it is fresh and hot. When we ordered the second time we did to-go. By the time I got home the thin crust pizzas had cooled off too much and didn’t have that same wow factor as our initial visit. –Some soda’s aren’t refillable which was strange. The BF ordered ginger-ale and they served it in the bottle but you had to pay per bottle… –The parking lot is a wee bit small but is also shared with several other businesses. When entering and going around the building, SLOWDOWN! There is a blind spot on the corner and there are too many big pickup trucks in ELP! –It is a pizza place so they get a pass but their menu needs some expansion. You can see where they are attempting to be more than a pizza place but they are still limited in what they offer. The menu didn’t seem complete…

Just moved back to El Paso, wanted some good pizza. I asked an El Paso native. They recommended Ardovino’s. The wife and I drove out to the one on Zaragoza. We were warmly greeted, promptly seated and had our drinks out to us in just a few minutes. We ordered the Margarita Pizza and the House Combination Pizza. Both pizzas were good. All in all not bad. The service was good, the food was good and it all came together quickly. We will eat here again.

This is our go-to pizza place. It’s more italian-style thin-crust with more mediterranian-style topping options– just the kind of pizza I like. The sauce is used sparingly, which I prefer, and there are some fun and sophisticated toppings and an upscale atmosphere. We love to go sit and enjoy the patio, have a drink or 2 and relax. The house dressing is also pretty fabulous.

The pizza isn’t that bad here. I prefer to take out, rather than dine in. What I dislike about the pizza is the thin crust is paper thin. I would love the option of a thicker crust. The cheese doesn’t stretch as some of the pizza I’ve tried. The beer selection is good, but I dont think the quality of the food justifies the price. Try the salami pizza. I’d still order every now and then, it beats ordering from Peter piper, dominoes, etc

Like the other two Ardovino’s, this one is also nicely decorated but quite a bit larger. There is also a decent size patio in the front. Our sandwiches were delicious, salads fresh and service was fine. The red door in the wall seems to be a focal point, I didn’t ask but it seems to be a piece of Ardovino’s history.
