I really should remember to read other reviews prior to showing up to a restaurant and being surprised. At least then, I would have realized that this place is different from other pizza parlors; in that, you take an uncooked pizza home and bake it yourself. I’ll say this much: the«take-n-bake» concept here is far superior to ANY frozen pizza I’ve ever baked or any pizza in general that I have purchased from a supermarket and had to bake at home. This place could actually give DiGiorno’s a run for their money. That being said. The best way I can describe the taste of the large pepperoni I just tried would be several notches above Papa John’s(a store which is severely overrated anyway) and more like… Little Caesar’s meets a brick oven. So overall: if you’re gonna bake or grill a pizza at home, you might as well come to this place. The ingredients are fresh, they assemble the pizza on site, and they are quite fast. But once again as in my previous review, I must fault this place for their location. Let’s just say if you live on the same side as the Tierras, you’re gonna have to make a «round robin» like trip to get back to Joe Battle and be facing the right direction. The intersection they’re by is horrible during peak hours(seriously, El Paso, can we do something about the severely delayed traffic lights by Joe Battle and Montwood? C’mon guys!). Overall…not a bad way to spend 5 bucks, as long as all you’re getting is a plain cheese or pepperoni. If you happen to order a specialized pizza like the stuffed Chicago, the only sizes those are made in is large and family size. Don’t order one without an empty stomach or a large party!

I LOVETHEPIZZA! The first pizza I bought was bigger than my oven! It was great. I would recommend Papa Murphy’s to anyone, all the time.

Pizza was ok, it would of been a fine experience but after drinking my Pepsi my wife noticed both of ours expired almost two months ago… so if they dont change out there drinks, how old is the food and condiments they have?

I’ve always loved the concept of Papa Murphy’s. They put your pizza together and you bake it at your convenience. Being a single guy who hates the taste of reheated pizza, I basically order a pizza and cut it in half before I bake it. The other half, I throw in the fridge to bake for the next day. Voila! «Two» freshly baked pizzas. They always give you coupons when you order a pizza. The coupons don’t have an expiration date, so don’t forget them the next time you visit. The staff at Papa Murphy’s is always so helpful and positive and that goes a long way. The one downside to visiting this location is trying to leave, if you need to head east on Montwood. I end up having to use the light on the other side of the Shell(Montwood and Zaragoza intersection), but that light is really short. So you may end up waiting a while to exit.

El Paso has papa murphys! Greatest discovery ever! I grew up on this pizza and for the past two days I’ve been craving it! So excited to get this home! As long as you don’t mind baking it yourself this pizza is amazing! Way better than any other place! Large pizza, cheesy bread, and cookie dough for $ 15! They have an awesome 2 sides for $ 6 deal(so worth it!) If you haven’t tried it, do so!

I visited my sister in El Paso and we got a pizza for the family. The owner and employees were extremely polite and the pizza was good. When my sister has come here with her three little boys, employees take the pizza to her car for her. Great experience.

I totally recommend this place(and I don’t recommend any place unless I love it and believe it’s a great place). Pizza and ingredients are super fresh and the staff are super friendly! On a budget? They have affordable pizza and accept EBT as well!

It was ok. People were friendly but the pizza wasn’t very good. We ordered the pepperoni but in my opinion the sauce makes the pizza. I wish them the best but I will not be returning.

Went back to papa murphys to get a couple pizzas to eat for the family! The family absolutely loved the herb chicken Mediterranean! It was the most HEALTHIEST pizza there is! The crust was so crunchy and what have it a kick was the feta cheese and the sun dried tomato! The next day we had the Chicago Style pizza. Has the ingredients of the 5 meat stuffed pizza BUT with vegetables! It was soooo great! We couldn’t even eat all the pizza! We definitely want to go back again before we leave to Hawaii! Thank you Sonny for the excellent service! Thanks Pam for making our pizzas!!! Five stars! Hands down!!! YOUNEEDTOTRYITTHEBESTPIZZAINELPASO!!!
