SOMANYFLAVORS!!! I had a hard time deciding but I ended up with the Mexico Blend. Habanero pepper, white cheddar, and caramel. It was the best popcorn. I’ve ever had. My son got a popcorn ball and it was apparently really tasty! The prices are good enough that you could use this places for gifts or stocking stuffers!

Love some of the flavors especially candy coated mix for the kids. The chocolate flavors tend to taste a little stale at times. The only drawback is the interior, it’s filled to the brim with chotchskis. It’s basically a container store with popcorn in the back. I get it they are trying to push the gift angle but if they made it a more fun inviting place that has more of an experience value to it, it would be better. Also they don’t offer to let you try flavors, you have to ask. Still 4 stars though because despite the drawbacks the kids love the candy flavors and it is the only place you can get flavored popcorn like this locally.

Banana Pudding, Puppy Chow, Dr. Pepper, Southwest Jalapeño, and traditional Kettle Corn: Just a few of the 66 flavors of popcorn we tried at our first visit. We met a gentleman named Ernie from out of town who makes a small voyage to acquisition the delectable popcorn flavors offered at this charming specialty shop. His favorite flavor? A mix of caramel corn and cheddar. We were enthusiastically greeted by the lovely employees, Paula and Leslie, who suggested that we try their favorite flavors and also let us sample some others we were interested in. We were even given a 10% military discount. After snatching up 5 bags of flavored treats, we headed home to watch a movie. No more movie popcorn again… We’ll be sneaking in our private reserve from now on!

As far as I know, Popcorn Extravaganza is the only place in the 915 that you can buy an assortment of flavored popcorn. Luckily there’s two, this one on the Far Eastside and the other one on the Westside(anybody who’s somebody is on Mesa). 50+ flavors… I’m positive there’s at least 60. Pricing ranges by flavor and size, but most flavors start around $ 2 for a mini(3 cups). Sizes are mini, junior, small, medium, large or x-large and I’m pretty sure each size is bigger than the last by 3 cups. You also have the option to buy popcorn tins(not sure how much they are, but they have a ton of different NFL tins) which would be a great gift idea. The place is small, but you don’t dine-in with your popcorn… obviously…so there’s really no need for a larger store front. PE is owned by a Husband/Wife team and from what I can tell the hubby works at this one and the wifey at the other, but both are very nice, quick and helpful. There are other employees and they are just as sweet. Every time I’m on Zaragoza I would see PE and say I need to go there! I’m typically on Zaragoza for dinner, so for months I would be disappointed when I looked at the time, saw it was 8 and realized they close at 7. But I finally got to try an assortment of PE’s popcorn at A Chocolate Affair. I was hooked immediately. If you just like the simple flavors like cheddar cheese, kettle corn or caramel corn, you’ll be more than happy with PE. But I implore you to go outside of your comfort zone and try the different flavors! I’m obsessed with the El Paso, a mix of sweet, salty and spicy. Apparently they have spicer popcorn flavors, but I’m perfectly content with the heat the El Paso gives. Still on my list to try: Butterfinger, Puppy Chow(chocolate + peanut butter + powdered sugar), Oreo, Pizza, and Creamy Cheesecake. I usually stick with the minis and get 3 or 4 different ones. This stuff is addicting though, the bags have never made it home full.
