Dropped in here for lunch. Got grape leaves, lamb chops, and turkish coffee. The food was surprisingly great and the coffee was superb. Definitely recommend this place! I will for sure come back again!

Best middle eastern food in the city!!! Good flavors, good ingredients, perfectly prepared and you get a lot of food for a good price. My husband and I both ordered the beef shawarma and it was amazing. Salad, soup, hummus, toum(garlic stuff) all really really good! We seriously couldn’t stop making yum sounds while we were eating and can’t wait to go back and eat there again!

Good luck Shawarma King. Not worth your time. This is the 3rd middle eastern restaurant to occupy this location in the last year. I’m not sure if it’s the same people trying new concepts each time, but this one will not last either. Message to the proprietors… When you start a new restaurant, every single thing that comes out of the kitchen needs to be on point. If it’s not, people will not come back and they will not recommend your food to anyone. My lunch order was fairly simple. Gyro sandwich, Fries, and Hummus. My sandwich was a stale piece of pita with ONE slice of mediocre Gyro meat on it, the fries were soggy, and as the previous reviewer said, «Hummus was flavorless». With so many great middle eastern choices in this city, some just 1 – 2 blocks away, this one is just not worth it.

I don’t know what the last person was talking about. The food is good and it didn’t take long from the time I ordered to the time I got my food. I totally recommend the chicken kabob-whether it’s a sandwich or plate. Overall, I had a good experience here.

The chicken shawarma was mediocre at best. The hummus was flavorless. There was food debris in my water cup. Couldn’t think of a reason to come back.
