HTH is always a good go to wether it’s for brunch, a game, or just for plain olé drinking and hanging out. For being primarily known as a good bar, they have pretty dang good food! Especially their pizzas! I’ve also come here for brunch and got the French toast, so delicious and topped with berries! They have a great layout for watching sports and a good patio when the weather is nice. You have to play a round or two of giant jenga in the activities area!

The mussels are unreal the broth is like a soup that will take care of you at another level. In from LA first time in Dallas I’m impressed you’ll see me again.

We came had lots of drinks, great service and an amazing Margherita pizza. I was actually very surprised we had been to HTH a few months back and had the same pizza but it tasted nothing like this time around. The dough has flavor, it’s not just tomato sauce on a slab of dough, will be back.

Visited once during Sunday morning to watch football. Went pretty early so not too crowded. Enjoyed the set up, there were couches, high tables, booths, and a patio. A lot of options, but be careful who you sit by, sometimes other parties can be quite obnoxious and its hard to avoid them. I was sad to see that there was only a limited menu for Sunday brunch, until I saw the special they had on mimosas, so we stayed a bit longer. We tried the nachos which were yummy, they had potato chips replacing the tortilla chips, with steak and gooey cheese on top. Also ordered a pizza, can’t remember which one, but knew I should have tried the buffalo chicken pizza, I could smell it from two tables down, will try it next time.

Went here for the first time yesterday. Nice low key atmosphere and pretty good live music. The service was great too. I can’t wait to see what it’s like on a busy night. Decent prices too. You can bet I’ll be back :).

we ordered a craft beer and a dos Equis to drink. They were both flat and room temperature. So they tasted terrible. We told the bar tender and he offered to get us another. I got a modelo and she got deep Ellum IPA. they were both still room temp and flat. Major negatives — beers are served in plastic cups, craft beer was $ 7 for the pint Food was mediocre. For 2 sandwiches, 2 beers, and tater tots the total was $ 48 at lunch price. That’s ridiculous. And none of them were very good.

Good setup for watching sports, but don’t expect good or even decent service. It’s consistently terrible. Expect long waits to have a server acknowledge you, more wait time for your drink and even longer if you have to remind your server that you ordered a drink.

Love coming to HTH to watch the Cowboys game. The food is great especially the chicken mac n cheese. We always get exceptional service from our favorite bartenders Matt and Branden. They are funny and always welcoming. This place is a definite must visit in Dallas!

I have only come to this bar twice and both times hadn’t stayed long. It looks like a fun bar to hang out w it’s jenga tower and cute seating. Their French fries and ranch are good! That’s all I know for now :)

Not sure why the low ratings. This is one of my favorite sports bars. Solid beer selection between two bars. Awesome pizza, good wings, great ranch mannnn… There’s a seat for every preference: tables, bar stools, couches. Avoid this place on a weekend if you hate crowds, noise, and drunken frat /sorority overgrown kids. Otherwise, Perfectly manageable and calm during a weekday or outside of football season.

I’ve been here about 10 times. 8 times were right at 4 or lunch when it wasn’t Too busy. It has a great patio when the weather is nice. Their pizza is super awesome and fresh! I order this almost everytime. The bartenders and wait staff have been great… Until I was here a month or so ago on a Saturday night and had a less than pleasant experience with a bartender at HTH. But Everyone has bad evenings, so ok, it is what it is. But when I came this past weekend, I made a conscious decision to sit at the other bar, thinking that they would put the same bartenders at the same bar.(They have two on each side). But no, the unpleasant bartender was now at this bar. And acting the EXACTASAME. His name is Matt. He really needs to find another job. He obviously hates anyone who asks him for anything and acts like everyone is stupid. Other than this person, the employees are great and TVs everywhere. I’ll be back… If I don’t see this individual working…

Went for the first time yesterday, Halloween night. Arrived at about 10:30, got a seat at the bar and immediately liked the music playing. The bartender was nice, always attentive. As the night went on it got more packed but that’s expected at any Dallas bar. Everyone was in a good mood, no one was rude, everyone was having a great time. The lines to the restroom were absurd but, it is a bar. Will definitely be visiting again.

I can accept if a place is busy or understaffed. Stuff happens. But the night if the World Series is a night I would suggest having extra staff. Into the 7th inning and some of our group still doesn’t have food. Half the orders came out wrong. Like I mentioned, I would be okay with this, it happens. What I’m not okay with is when the staff, including MOD, are taking shots when my group went to complain about a messed up order. Overall a bad experience. Location had great potential but it’s being run horribly. Had sliders, they were relatively basic. Miller lite was cold.

Thought the douche bag bartender at the bar on the right side on Fri 10⁄16 was just having a bad night. Looks like I see similar reviews below about bad service as well. Waited at my spot at the bar for a good 10 minutes. People being served before me, but whatever. Finally got his attention and asked for four waters before we left. «10 bucks.» «Ten bucks for waters?» «Fckin water ain’t free here homeboy! Next!!!» I guess I wouldn’t have been as ticked off if I just didn’t see him give free water to the girls next to me.

Great place to watch sports however, I’m sitting in the bar as I write this review and I will never be back due to the horrible service from Matt our bartender. You are in the service industry. Don’t stand behind the bar like you are above everyone and get annoyed when we ask you for something. Matt was disgusted with us when we ask for anything and even more disgusted when his fellow bartenders where around him, acting as though he were better than them. Too many places in this area to be treated like this when I go out. Have been here many times and this is my last.

My first bar in Dallas. Seems like a typical fratty bar. Lots of people. Lots of really really drunk people. Expect people to bump into you at least a few times during the night.

I have somewhat limited experience with Henderson Tap House, but unfortunately, what I have observed is enough to dissuade me from making a repeat visit. One Sunday after brunch, I wanted a glass of wine so I went to Veritas Wine Bar on Henderson. Unfortunately, they were not open yet, so I decided to drop in next door at Henderson Tap House. I will admit that they offer a different vibe than what I was originally wanting, but I vowed to keep an open mind and give them a chance. Unfortunately, the service at Henderson Tap House rendered the positive aspect of the location moot. The bar is spacious with a goof variety of seating. There are numerous televisions so you can catch the game if that’s your thing. Sadly, the bartenders and wait staff were less than helpful. My waitress seemed confused when I ordered an Old Fashioned, and brought me something different. I’m not sure where the communication broke down, so I went to the bar directly for my next effort. Again, they seemed irritated that I ordered something other than beer. They were also unable to keep a unified tab with my table order(though this is forgivable). I tried to order some apps but the bar was out of hummus. Then, my waitress simply disappeared. I learned later that she went off shift and no one replaced her. I was left to wander up to the bar yet again for more drinks. Overall, this place just didn’t have its act together for the number of customers in the building. It’s not my scene, but Henderson Tap House failed to meet even my lowered expectations.

When my friend relayed «Henderson Taphouse» was next on our multi Saturday night bar hop I faintly remembered being curious about its incarnation a few months ago. All excitement quickly diminished upon entry despite its large, and full, generic bar room. «It’s like a boring frat party.» I succinctly articulated to my friend upon exiting. «At least there’s black people here.» A little diversity was perhaps the only thing going for this utterly vanilla establishment. Think Applebee’s without the bad food, just a bit more stylish and without parents, or anyone over 30.

This place is great! I went for the first time for the Cowboys VS Bears watch party and it was such great ambience, good crowd, plenty of places to sit and lots of TVs all around to look at. What was also very nice is that the seating inside and outside was joint. You had the breeze from the outside patio coming in, heaters outside might I add and the noise from inside, cheers of course for the Cowboys coming outside. Just a good vibe! What really helped was our waitress. I forgot her name, but the place was packed and she still managed to take care of our table, plus others, with a smile on her face, a great attitude and in great timing. She always checked on us and made sure that everyone was good. I loved that! I had checked out what others had ordered from here, on Unilocal of course, and I went with the Southwest Shrimp Salad, which was REALLY good. HUGE pieces of shrimp, seasoned perfectly and for dessert, I had the Milk & Cookies. The cookie was warm, but it wasn’t the best cookie I’ve had. Tasted kinda old, but once I dunked it in the milk, it tasted a lot better. I tasted one of their Lemon Pepper wings, really liked those. HUGE drumettes, GREAT flavor. Overall, this is the perfect place for a good Sunday Funday, a Saturday or weekday evening get together, just overall fun place!

This is a great place to watch any sports as this place has several tvs. Their outdoor patio is pretty big, and I love patios especially when the weather is nice. Parking is valet, so bring some cash with you. This place received 3 stars because of service. Our waitress gave us our first drink, and then we didn’t see her for almost 20 minutes. We wanted to try the lobster and artichoke dip, but they ran out of it. We ended up ordering the pretzel. Pretzel was pretty good, and it comes with 2 dips, cheese and a mustard sauce. Someone at our table ordered the pepperoni and sausage pizza, it was really good. The restaurant has plenty of room and couches to lounge in. I will definitely come back.
