Mina is amazing. I always go to her for my hair color and cut and the thing I love most is that she actually cares about the health and the look of your hair. So sweet and down to earth! The salon is beautiful beyond belief and everyone that works there is gorgeous. Lol

My stylist didn’t show up for the appointment and no one was around to figure out an alternative since it was a Sunday. This is despite receiving a confirmation via text message the previous day and I have now wasted an hour of a very busy day including travel time.

After reading all the reviews, I decided to book an appointment with Alex and I must say I am so glad I did. I absolutely 100% love love my hair! I knew it was going to be pricy to correct all the at-​home color jobs (and it was), but it was so worth it. His assistant Jill is a licensed stylist too and she is awesome and smart (don’t let her RBF fool/​bother you– she’s a sweet girl). Alex gave her specific instructions on what to mix and she showed as much confidence as he did which was reassuring. Great team work! She is so lucky to have Alex as her mentor.

This was my first visit to Muse. When I called for an appointment, only 2 stylists had openings for the day/​time I needed, and after talking about what I wanted, they recommended Alex. I had my appointment this morning, and I’m thrilled with my cut and color. Alex spent a lot of time talking to me about what I like/don’t like with what I had, and made some great recommendations for subtle changes that would create a big difference. The color is gorgeous, exactly the shade of red with highlights I wanted. He freshened up my cut for an easy-​to-​work with style that I can wear straight or curly. The salon is fun and funky, and the staff were very friendly. Excited to have found a great new stylist and salon.

Had an appointment with Mina for a cut and color and she went above and beyond my expectations! I told her I wanted ash brown balayage with more layers and just a trim of my length and she did just that. This was my first time getting any kind of color so I was worried about the color not coming out with my dark hair, but Mina knew exactly how to work with my asian hair. She was professional and easy to talk to and really understood what I was asking. Not only did she do such a great job on my cut and color, but she also gave me great tips in after care to maintain the color.
From the moment I walked in I received excellent customer service. The salon is modern, clean, and has their own lot for parking. I also loved that Mina’s station was located next to the windows for that natural light. I would definitely recommend Mina at Muse and I will definitely be coming back!

Anna is the best! The salon is nice but you have to have a great hair stylist. She does amazing things with color especially blondes which is important in Dallas! Definitely worth the drive. She is booked because she is so good but worth the wait. Hair cuts are always what I ask for. Highly recommend!

Alex Monge at muse the salon is the best colorist in town. I have hard to manage hair when it comes to color but Alex always gets it right he gets 1000 stars in my book!!! He is amazing!

I got a Men’s Haircut with Savy.
The salon was nice. The staff there is very friendly and it’s easy to set up appointments.
Savy does a great job, I’ve been going to him for several years now. He is professional and fun to talk to. He switched over to Muse a few months ago and it’s definitely an improvement. Muse has a better location and setup, and is also much easier to park at.

I’ve followed Mina around to different salons for years now, and of her locations I have liked Muse the best. She has always provided the best services and now she is at a location that matches that. Muse is a very laid back, inviting business that provides all the unnecessary, necessities for a proper cut and style: free wifi, lay down sinks for shampoo, and even free wine/​beer should it tickle your fancy. Clean and well-​lit stations so your hair always looks on point after getting your hair did. It’s also in a great location to get a bite to eat at next door Gemma or Lower Greenville.
Mina always gives me exactly what I want; whether that may be an old reliable hair cut, or a trendy do that kids are into nowadays. Show her some pictures of what you like or explain it to her, and she’ll meet your needs. She also has done color and styles for my female friends, without any complaints. For dudes, she even used clippers now if you want a good fade. Most upscale places will only use sheers which has never quite cut it for me, IMO… pun definitely intended.
Go see Mina. She won’t disappoint. If she’s particularly pleased with you cut/​style, you might even have a chance to make it onto her Instagram and be IG famous.

Been going to Savy Ty before he even came to Muse. His cuts, style, demeanor and service is top notch. The salon is terrific and I always enjoy being welcomed with a cold beer. Five stars for Savy Ty and Muse Salon.

Love getting my hair done here. I use Leslie to color my hair — she uses both highlights and lowlights. She’s fantastic! Dana cuts my hair just the way I like it. Both have great personalities and are always on time. I highly recommend them.

I’ve had the good fortune of having some of the best hair stylists growing up around the movie industry in Los Angeles. When I moved to Dallas, a year ago– one of the worst things is trying to find a new stylist. Think I read reviews off of Unilocal,actually– so I want to add my voice to choir.
Stop looking for another salon. This is the best. Never have I had a better haircut than I received from Garrett. He’s is personable, listens, great eye, artistic, and is as great as they come. I’ve moved an hour away from Dallas, but I will be driving in to his salon.
I would also like to recommend Carlos. He did my color, and cut my son’s hair and is also fantastic. I verge on neurotic about my hair color. It’s a red that another colorist created for me in California– I brought the formula in to Carlos, and he was so gracious about that. My son who is 18– just loved his haircut.
The salon is beautiful, and has just been remodeled– it’s definitely the only salon you need to visit in Dallas. A++++

Javier Garza cuts my hair! He is so so good! He always gives me exactly the cut I ask for. I would recommend him to anyone! He’s real sweet and makes you feel comfortable and welcome:) great salon too! Very cool atmosphere!

The Salon itself, Muse, is new to me so this is a review about the amazing talent inside, Alex Monge!
Alex has been my colorist, stylist and now extension expert for six years! He’s incredible with hair. Making sure the cut fits your face shape, the color compliments your skin tone while being perfectly blended, all while fitting it to your personal style… all things you need in a great stylist.
He takes what you like and makes it fit you individually. He’s also open and honest if you bring him a look that might not be the most flattering on you, but also gives suggestions to get you what you want (something I MORE than appreciate).
If you’re looking for a stylist or just want to try someone new, Alex should be every woman’s (or man’s) new best friend!
The salon itself is modern, chic and friendly. I don’t know about you, but I’m over the stuffy salon scene that can be found in Dallas.

Alex has been coloring my hair for over five years and he is so fantastic! I’m always really happy with my color and I look forward to talking with him during my appointment. (He’s a lot of fun and really creates a genuine relationship with you.)

My girl JJ Goldman is an awesome stylist with a keen sense for personalized cut and color. But don’t be shy if you are a guy — she’s great with men’s cuts. My husband (conservative, Texan 50+ year old lawyer) comes to see her once a month. As does OJ DeSouza, so she does hip cool guys and old dads with equal style.
I’ve been a client of JJ’s for years, and even when she was out on maternity leave, she made sure both myself and my husband were paired with (different) stylists to fit our individual needs. With JJ’s guidance and regular cuts, my hair has never been longer or healthier!
And this salon… can you say AH-​MAY-​ZING??? What a beautiful place to get your beauty on! The new renovations have created a fun atmosphere with textures and whimsy to make everyone who walks in smile. Who doesn’t like disco balls and chandeliers? Staff is always happy, helpful and friendly. I always feel right at home with a warm welcome.
They always stock Oribe (my favorite!) and have a million choices of the Oribe
New product lines like Smith & Cult (award winning nail polishes) entice with candy colored choices for nails in generous sized bottles (I’m leaving with at least one today). I’m also a HUGE new fan of the Smith & Cult lipgloss (leaving with 2 today) that comes in subtle sexy colors with exceptional texture and longevity. Not too shiny, not too gummy… this gloss is Goldilocks «just right»!
Everyone is good so you can’t go wrong if you book an appointment here! JJ is my girl, but Cali is my go-​to guy when she’s not available!

I live a few blocks away from the salon and had a great experience. Omar cut my hair and charges a very fair price for the job he does. His wife is super awesome also, she works there and they are both great people that are easy to get along with. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

What a wonderful salon in the heart of Dallas. Everyone is extremely professional, courteous and very welcoming. Rachael Kitchen has been my stylist since November 2014 and she is amazing! She truly has an amazing talent. Every time I leave the salon, I come out feeling extremely satisfied.
