Atrocious. I got sick. Ordered a tuna sandwich which I ate on my flight. 10 hours later I got incredibly sick in my hotel room. Just awful what it did to me. Please eat someplace else.

Don’t waste your money, rude, misleading examples of sandwiches in front of you, when my Italian is made it has 3 slices of pepperoni, 2 slices ham, 2 slices of salami, THISISPATHETIC for $ 7.49 Never again !!

Horrible food and unfriendly service. Stay away. Even the coffee is bad! I would give it a negative review star if I could.

Pretty good for airport food. A little overpriced — but you’re not going to find anything better around here honestly, they always charge extra in airports. As far as the food goes — got a turkey sandwich for under $ 9. Medium sized, it didn’t fill me up but it definitely satisfied my hunger for a little bit. The bread was fresh. The vegetables tasted great — my only complaint would be the sandwich had a ridiculous amount of onions on it. I like onions, but too many & now my breath smells awkwardly bad. Whatever though. I thought the place was okay. Friendly staff. Looked clean.

Avoid this place… Rancid in every aspect from the inconsiderate abrasive staff to the bland food and tiny overpriced sandwiches. The soup I ordered was not to temp and worthy of a 1930’s soup kitchen on the flavor front. The cashier tried to overcharge me from what was posted on the board because«maybe the boss didn’t change the price on the board yet»! Is that even legal? Bleh!

This place needs to work on their customer service skills. I don’t care if you work in an airport or not, you shouldn’t treat customers like this no matter what. If you don’t like dealing with some of the more grouchy people, then go work SOMEWHERE else. I was only at the window long enough to order a couple of muffins — I was friendly and I clearly felt like I was intruding on their personal time by even coming up and placing an order. And she had no sooner shoved the muffins in a bag and pushed them at me and she was like«NEXT!» She didn’t even give me enough time to shove my change back in my wallet or grab my bag. I felt thoroughly rushed and it wasn’t like there was a line behind me. I think there was one other person waiting behind me and that was it. And there wasn’t like there was a line in front of me either. I walked right up and was served within seconds. It was beyond rude. The muffins were ok, but not great. We ordered two banana chocolate chip muffins. But based on how they treat their customers, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you can eat somewhere else. I would give it one star, but the muffins weren’t bad, just the customer service.

Apparently the mustard sandwich here is to die for, but it was around 8am, so I opted for a raspberry smoothie. At five bucks, it wasn’t half bad. Aside from the frozen yogurt, everything else was dropped in from a can. It’s airport food; expectations were low. If you’re looking for an okay breakfast smoothie, you might as well pick one up at Zoot Café.

We have been traveling for 10 hours and our son was hungry so, being vegetarian, we had limited choices. We saw Zoot Café and walked up to look at the menu. My husband was happy when he saw they had a Portobello Sandwich. Two women were opening boxes right in front(behind counter) and I said ‘Hello!?‘ twice with no response. Finally I asked, ‘are you even interested in serving customers?’ And without any eye contact or friendly mannerisms whatsoever, the woman, «ANGELA» stated to me, like a robot, ‘we open in five minutes.‘ Once my stomach finished turning from the blatantly rude customer service, I stated I was going to call the management to let t y em know how potential customers were being treated. Angela’s response was a roll of her eyes and a ‘sure, sure, whatever. We open in five minutes.“ Unapologetic, unappetizing, and extremely UNPLEASANT. Angela, you have hideous cs.

Had a $ 10 mustard sandwich on wheat for the first time, it was really mustardy. If you like mustard get the mustard sandwich you will love it!(Especially cause of all the mustard) I think there was ham in it too, not sure. cause my brain was so focused on all dat musty! Don’t ask for EXTRA mustard though, it’s just right at its 98% sandwich occupancy.

Ok everyone that has reviewed this place your not gonna find the highest quality sandwich in Ohare and the friendliest employees because they have to deal with arrogant ass travelers everyday. If you want a good quality sandwich then take your ass on the blue line and take a bus somewhere. As far as Zoots is concerned they do make a pretty good sandwich for Ohare’s standards. I like their turkey sandwich. And their chicken breast sandwich is really good too.

Could barely be bothered to stop their conversation in another language to take my order… and then super annoyed when i had to stop them from making the wrong sandwich.. never thought to check Unilocal in an airport… but would have paid off here.

Can’t comment on the food, but they have La Intelligentsia coffee, which is better than Starbucks. Relatively cheap, as the 20oz is around $ 2.50.

I ordered a tuna salad sandwich. I thought it was tuna on a bed of lettuce, but she was holding two types of bread. Then I realized, it’s tuna salad SANDWICH. Even better! I went to look for a place to sit down, and by the time I set my luggage & bag down, they were done. There must be a whole can of tuna in my sandwich! It was full packed of chopped up red onions, olives, etc. and it was delicious! I made the right choice!

I don’t ever expect much from airport food but Café Zoot was middle of the road at best. Staff is inattentive and unfriendly. No organization on where to order. The chicken quesadilla is ok but the chicken is a bit dry.

After dropping $ 2.79 on an iced tea, which had gone sour, the employee argued with me and said they«just made it this morning»… at 5pm. «Tastes fine to me,» he said. When I explained to him that tea has to be refrigerated or it goes bad in a few hours, he replied, «Put some sugar in it.» Ok pal. Enjoy your one star. Should have been a little more accommodating… and honest.

I wanted something quick that would travel well before my 6pm flight since I wouldn’t be eating until about an hour into it. I got a turkey sandwich that surprisingly exceeded my expectations for airport food. The set up was like potbelly’s where your sandwich goes through an oven and then you pick your toppings. They even had hot peppers as an option. Score! The sandwich was still good even though I ate it so long after it was made. Bread was not soggy and it had the perfect amount of filling. The staff was super friendly too!

Unfriendly, bordering on obstinate«customer service». Happy they have Intelligentsia, but it’s too hot to hold even with two cups, a cup holder, and a spot o’ cream. FYI, Blue Bottle, Four Barrel, and Ritual all know coffee should never be brewed or served at this high of a temperature. And, no, I’m not asking for«cold coffee». There *IS* a middle ground.

Wanted to grab a quick sandwich for a long flight. There was a lot of bread, not much meat and the lettuce looked like it had been pressed with a hot iron the night before. Go someplace else if you have the time.

Majorly watered-down coffee. The«shot» of espresso didn’t help either. I should’ve opted for water… Never again.

Not bad, not bad! It is, after all, airport food. Stopped here early yesterday morning while in O’Hare because I was way too hungry to wait a few hours until we touched down in Pittsburgh to eat. Boyfriend and I shared the following items: * Blueberry Scone: It wasn’t great but would have been much better had it been served warm. * Cheese Danish: Tasty and satisfying. * Sausage, Egg, & Cheese Croissant: Deliciously greasy. I don’t indulge in croissants often, and this splurge was well worth it. Less than $ 15 total for the above food plus an iced mocha for my guy. Decent. I’ll keep Café Zoot in mind for future airport breakfasts.
