Place looked good. Food appeared fresh. I ordered a Greek wrap with hummus side. While it tasted good, the wrap was old and hard. It may have been in the case for awhile. I would ask them to make a fresh one.

Boo. A decent airport eatery(mostly prepared food in deli cases), but I was looking for somewhere a little more comfortable to chill during a long layover. Had 2 glasses of mediocre wine at the bar and the total came to $ 32 and change! Even at airport rates that’s a little steep, and there was no service to speak of. I should have gone for the margaritas at Tortas Frontera.

This is my new go to for breakfast at Ohare. Delicious frittata and lots of healthy options too.

Usually, you won’t find good food at the airport but recently I was at Chicago O’hare international airport and at terminal B, near B6 I found this restaurant. I ordered their roasted vegetable pizza. Food was great, service was excellent, I was really happy.

Best Frittata I have ever had. Served with a few grapes and some parmesan dusted pita bread squares. Very good.

I ordered a wrap and the guy just shoved it into a box. I paid and proceeded to the bar. The wrap was mainly sliced deli turkey and lots of mayo. As I sat down, I was ignored by the bar tender, and had to ask for service. I then overheard another customer order her wrap, and they made it from scratch, with no mayo and added other veggies. Just go the distance and head to Rick Bayless’ place and get decent food. This place is not worth the $ 17 I spent on a wrap and water, and the $ 15 bad Pinot Grigio. Also, I swear men head here to hit on women who come here for wine. Totally creepy dudes seem to be lurking all around.

I wanted to get something for the flight. I’d eaten a very small breakfast, and knew that I was getting hungry. I really didn’t want to end up with a headache, so I popped over — across from my gate in O’Hare and picked up a sandwich for myself and the husbeast. I wasn’t expecting $ 23.00 for 2 sandwiches. SHEESH. yep, that’s on me, I’ll ask next time, but clearly these should be marked. The free banana was a nice touch. The food was Ok. I ate half because they were pretty dry. The husband, hungrier than I, ate his with gusto, but admitted he didn’t really taste it.

Spent $ 33.00 on 2 wraps, a small salad, and dessert. Both wraps were extremely dry and the vegetables were cut extremely large and unprofessional. The greek wrap was literally dry spinach, one chunk of cucumber the size of a lipstick container, wilted red pepper, dry tomato, and oversized dry tortilla that had been folded over twice. The veggie salad was completely dry(do they know what dressing or sauce is??). The fruit tart crust was hard and tasted like cardboard. I would not recommend this to anyone, even if you are running late for a flight. This place makes plane food seem like a 5 star restaurant(it’s cheaper too!!).

Overall, this place isn’t bad for a airport outlet restaurant. It’s located by the concourse B in O’Hare. I honestly chose it because I had to sprint from concourse E to B in 20 minutes AND grab some lunch. It was next to my gate and thus convenient. Every single food item here is inflated beyond what one would expect from an airport. My entire bill was close to $ 15 for just a sandwich(no drink or anything else). Each sandwich includes a side, which is some sort of small container of rice or couscous. It was not given to me with my order so I had to ask. Make sure you get your side! The sandwich was pretty tasty, and I couldn’t really find any flaws. It had enough veggies, cheese, and meat on it. It was served at a good temperature and was overall enjoyable but not amazing. The service was surprisingly fast and efficient for a store that wasn’t setup like a McDonald’s or other fast food joint. I was presently surprised that I was taken care of so quickly. I made it back to my gate with plenty of time to spare! If you feel like getting hustled out of money at an airport, at least you’ll get a decent meal here.

Had the portobello griller at la tapenade café near gate b5 and it had excellent flavor but wish both sides of bread were crisp, as one side was soggy.

Worst wrap I have ever had! It was dry and bland. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Buyer beware! I will take responsibility for not asking the price… rookie maneuver. But when I see a breakfast ciabatta the size of scone, I don’t expect $ 9 from that. I get it, «airport inflation», plus there is no pricing on the menu above, so I’ll ask next time… If there is a next time… because the ciabatta was sausage, after I ordered bacon, and it was tough, like it had been microwaved(it wasn’t, but it had been sitting in some sort of warmer). After this displeasure, I walked the other side of the terminal, where I wish I tried the tortas at Frontera. I give 2 stars because I only had one thing on the menu and it looked like there might have been some better options. I’ll ask for prices next time and opt for something freshly prepared.

Not worth the money. Bought an Insalata Caprese. The lettuce was old with many brown spots. This made me cautious to eat the olives. Had two bites and no flavor. Was charged $ 16 and could not get a cold drink. The place where they hold the sodas does not hold cold in.

Super quick service. 5 stars as far as airport food and service go. Delish piping hot seared salmon flatbread pizza. Quite possibly the best thing I have ever eaten at an airport before. Huge glass of white wine. Granted I am here on the Tuesday night after MLK Jr weekend so it’s pretty dead. But still, I barely finished saying my order and it was in front of me. I think the bartender reads minds. I’m ok with that. They need to put one of these places in every airport stat. I’m googling now to see where else they are located.

This place is awful. Terminal 1 doesn’t offer many desirable options, so this is one of the lesser evils. The bartender needs to find a new profession, because he clearly isn’t cut-out for the restaurant industry.

This café is located inside the Chicago airport near gate B4. Prices were high, but that is expected for airport establishments. We had Salmon flatbread and Chicken sandwich. The Salmon flatbread was good and had a generous portion of Salmon in it.

Overpriced sandwich, but seemingly best option near my terminal. Disappointed that the brie and turkey sandwich had a minuscule amount of brie(see photo). Also, it’s incredibly dry, despite it saying on the label it has mayo. Be sure to grab extra from the cashier– I wish I had.

Enjoyed some flatbread pizza with surprisingly good cheese. had a chat with some friendly and unusually fun employees. I am recommending this place for good service, availability of alcohol(can’t beat getting a glass of wine or a drink while sitting with your 4 year old who is devouring flatbread pizza) and convenience. Airport prices, but, you come to expect that. B+ in my book.

Great staff! Good healthy food, my favorite is the salmon flatbread with capers, tomato and lemon dill and also try the chocolate mousse for dessert. Love the menu

Pretty darn good for semi-fast-food. I wasn’t let down after eating at La Tapenade while flying through O’Hare a couple weeks ago. Most of La Tapenade’s sandwiches – or at least the panini – are pre-made and then allowed to rest on the grill until ordered. Sandwiches run roughly $ 10 to $ 15 a piece. The Tuscany Tomato Focaccia Sandwich was remarkably satisfying. Tasty bread, lots of flavor, moist, a relatively hefty amount of protein. The Potobello Panini was decent. Good ingredients but not devoid of that I’ve-been-sitting-on-the-grill-for-a-while old taste. My only major La Tapenade criticism involves the sides – and how dare they call them sides?! The tiny«sides» my boyfriend and I chose to go with our sandwiches were pasta salad and white beans. My first choice side of hummus, which La Tapenade was out of, probably wouldn’t have looked so ridiculous in the itty bitty plastic sample cup that apparently all sides come in, but the beans and especially the bowtie pasta salad looked absurd crammed into the tiny cups. Finding a seat here can be a chore, but it is, after all, O’Hare. I’ve always thought of O’Hare as one of the better major US airports as far as airport dining options are concerned, and an early dinner at La Tapenade didn’t disappoint me.
