Not a fan of their tacos. My last deciding factor in not returning to this location: I had one piece of shrimp in the whole thing. As another Unilocaler said, mediocre at best. The nachos have more topping than chips. Which may be okay for some. But I don’t always like to eat my nachos with a fork. Just saying. However the salads here are always amazing! So I know I’ll be back for those. And those alone.

If I could I wouldn’t give them any stars. Well last night was my first experience with fuzzy tacos. Didn’t have a great experience at this location. Waited 45 mins for three tacos. I would maybe understand it if it was busy or rush hour there must’ve been like 6 tables with people and they had there food and there was one couple ahead of us. Well after waiting 40 mins I went to check the order and they told me that the food had been ready but forgot to buzz which is quite strange cause there was people coming in after us and getting there food. One employee came to notify us after we made t known we hadn’t gotten our food. She was not apologetic just blamed it on having people being trained in the back. Which if someone is being trained I would think there is a trainer back there. She asked if we still wanted our food that they would make it fresh. Offered us free chips and queso. After waiting about five more mins we got our food and headed home probably two blocks away. Food was very cold and soggy most likely the food that had been sitting out for the 40 mins. The only thing warm at least was the queso and chips. I highly doubt I will ever try this place again…

Service is quick and the food is always great! I usually get the chicken Baja tacos, no cilantro. Great pricing too!

i ordered 15 separate taco’s to go. i, personally, wanted 2 grilled fish tacos. when i arrived to pick up my order, there was no marking on any of the five varieties of tacos that i ordered… every taco had to be unwrapped and exposed to determine what it was… needless to say, i did not get any of the fish tacos i ordered… i absolutely will not be returning for any future business at this location… i thought previous reviews may be a fluke… heed all of the negative reviews for this location… they are for real… do not go to this location…

After my recent visit to this Fuzzy’s I now remember why it’s been about 4 years since I last stepped foot inside of one of this regional chain’s restaurants. The headlining tacos are actually kind of…“meh”. Not bad, but definitely not great. I’m of the belief that if you dare to call yourself a «taco shop», the tacos should be something exceptional. Fuzzy’s are mediocre at best. The shredded chicken is just… okay. The shrimp and fish? Just… okay. Nothing exceptional about the flavors or textures. And why the feta?! With so many REALLY good(and cheap!)taco stands available in DFW I’m really suprised that Fuzzy’s has such a following. This location seems to have a pretty high traffic bar area so perhaps that fueled the steady stream of patrons that were coming in on my recent visit. I have not tried the other items on the menu(salads and quesadillas) so maybe they are tastier than the tacos that I had, but I won’t be stopping by Fuzzy’s anytime soon to find out!

I love Fuzzy’s and have tried several of the locations, but the Cedarhill location does not live up to reputation of the others. This is my 2nd time to eat at this location in the last couple of weeks. I ordered the Baja tacos 2 shredded beef and 1 pork. They were ok. It was more lettuce than anything, hardly any feta or tomatoes, no shredded cheese and no garlic sauce(my favorite part). None of meat had any flavor. When I ordered a salad a few weeks ago I asked for the garlic sauce instead of the ranch. When I got my salad it was ranch. I went back and told them I ordered the garlic sauce. They told me I had the garlic sauce. I told them I couldn’t taste the garlic the guy shrugged like oh well. I told him never mind and that he was useless and walked off. I won’t be back. I will be giving all my future business to the Waxahachie location.

We came back only because Campuzano’s was closed. The cashier was as he said, «discombobulated» after he left me and then returned dropping pagers everywhere. Ugh. I ordered 2 top shelf margaritas $ 7.50 and some chips & salsa $ 1.99. The chips are doused in some spice. Fuzzy dust? They’re stale. Do they add a layer of fuzzy dust to mask the stale chip? We think a bag of tostito’s would be fresher. The salsa probably came from a can. Don’t think either is made here. I’d be surprised if they were. Pace tastes better. The margaritas took awhile to be served. The bartender was being a cashier since the cashier was cleaning tables. Margaritas were served in a stemless wine glass. Does not look like the picture. Bartender says it’s because it takes longer to bus the tables and get the regular margarita glasses back. The margarita itself is pretty good. It is the reason for the 2 stars. We might be back for drinks but when we have no other option.

I absolutely love Fuzzy’s but the Cedar Hill, Texas location has disappointed me for the last time. I waited 30 minutes exactly for my to go order that I placed during the lunch hours. While I waited, I sat at the almost empty bar. The only other person sitting there was an employee. This employee asked the only other cashier working to make her a margarita. At first the cashier grabbed a small glass and the employee stopped her and said«no I want the big one that’s frozen» I first assumed this lady wasn’t on the clock but then I watched her get up and take orders to assist the other cashier and call out order numbers from the kitchen. Every once in awhile she would come back for a sip of her margarita. I thought she was just a regular employee but then I noticed she was not in uniform(she had on long summer dress and flip flops). That’s when I thought maybe she could’ve been the owner. If she is the owner, this place no longer has my business. Instead of her drinking while on the clock, she should’ve been helping out in the kitchen to hurry to fulfill my ticket. I also witnessed her get up from the bar to conduct a short interview with a potential employee that was returning an application.

The food was fine and typical of other Fuzzy’s restaurants, but this particular location has a serious management problem. Several orders that should have been 10 minutes to prepare took 30 minutes. I’ve never waited that last my at any other Fuzzy’s, regardless of location. A prior visit had register staff also pulling beer and doing a poor job of it. That visit had an unreasonably long wait for food as well. I would pass until there’s a streamlining of operations and efficiency.

Just recently I was introduced to Fuzzy’s and I must say, I am a fan! This location food wise is pretty good. Food has always been hot and fresh and the kitchen staff always super friendly. I can’t say as much for the people running the register. My favorite items are the beef nachos. The plate is always FULL of nachos with never the dry chip to be found. In fact I usually get a side of chips n salsa just so I can have some dry chips to scoop up the nacho goodness. The shrimp tempura tacos are pretty damn good. Not a big seafood taco fan, but these are very worth at least once in your lifetime. Ask for extra«fuzzy dust» with your dish, so you can sprinkle that goodness on everything. And the different flavors of sweet tea are ONPOINT! I make sure to bring my souvenir cup each trip so I can get a big olé drink for $ 1 and take a tea refill home with me.

The best Fuzzy’s location near here. When it’s busy the kitchen can run a little slow, but that’s to be expected. Favorite are the tempura fish on soft corn tortilla. Food is never cold and the bar is always on top of things. Can’t ask for a whole lot more. Though, the girl at the register today was very cheery. Not sure I’d be cheery either though if a bunch of people got to eat good food in front of me all day and I got nothing.

Will NEVER go back! I ordered the fish sandwich that comes with potatoes on the side. The sandwich was mostly bread and the potatoes were cold! What a waste of my time and money. Lesson learned.

In comparison to some other locations I have visited, I really like the Cedar Hill location. I love the sporty atmosphere, it’s clean, and has friendly employees. I come here quite often for lunch and I kind of go back and forth between the grilled shrimp nachos and the grilled shrimp enchilada dinner. The shrimp tacos and the shrimp burrito are pretty good as well.

I’ve been here twice and … yes … I may go again for the food… service is terribly stupid. I walked up to the counter, someone took my order, I paid and that was that. So What’s The Problem? Right? Girl at the register said she«Hit the wrong key, but don’t worry, everything is OK». … waiting… waiting … waiting… Bartender doesn’t know I ordered beer. … waiting… waiting … waiting… Blah blah blah with the manager and my wife and I finally get our beers… I mean, «Me and my woman». … waiting… waiting … waiting… I’m veeeeeery patient person so 3 large beers later(60 minutes) I finally stagger to the kitchen window… «Hey! where’s my order! Here’s my ticket! WHEREBEMYFOODAT?» The cooks were standing around. No orders. They looked shocked. «We don’t have a ticket» he said. I showed him my ticket and they sprang into action. Apparently«wrong key» really is a big deal. Wash and repeat on my second visit to Fuzzy’s Taco but now I know the process. 1) Order your food. «I hit the wrong key. again» WHOCARES! 2) Walk over to the bar and start banging your fist«WHERE’S MYBEER!!!» 3) Walk over to the kitchen window«WHERE’S MYFOOD!!!» 4) Here’s the best part, NOBODYGETS A TIP!

First, I’m really happy to have a Fuzzys in Cedar Hill! We went in for breakfast, ordered Migas and a burrito. Cashier was very friendly but a tad bit slow. The migas were good, the burrito was prepared incorrectly. Overall I’d give it 4 stars because I fuzzys.

Bad service, long waits, and sub par food… If you’re into that, come here! If you want good fuzzys tacos go to one of the other locations. And! The margaritas are also smaller for the same price as the other locations!!!

The location is new only been here a few months. My son and I have the chicken nachos and chicken salad. The young lady that took our order was VERY pleasant. Our food came out quickly but it was not crowded either. Very cozy family atmosphere, will return. I am a stickler on restrooms, and it was clean.

Other Fuzzy’s are great. However this one is poorly managed and ghetto ass people work here(seems to be an overwhelming issue in cedar hill) Too lazy to even take an order for our office over the phone. worthless.

Yummy!!! Great food for a great price! I love the concept, it’s like fast food but you could extend your stay and be comfortable as well. You order and pay at a register and then get your seat. You have to go up and get your food, silverware, etc. I don’t mind this in this restaurant because the price reflects the fact that there is no service. The food is good too! I had two tacos and some nachos(the queso kind). The queso was a little bland so I won’t order that again but the tacos were amazing. I had a shredded pork taco and a tempura fish taco. I also had a drink from the bar, it was so yummy too and reasonably priced and actually had liquor in it. Excellent service… the lady at the register answered my menu questions and explained how the process of getting your food works very well. The manager was visible, working and stocking the condiment counter, and checking on the guest. There was a lady cleaning up tables and she was ‘johnny on the spot’ as soon as a table of people left. I will definitely be back!!!

Let me start off by saying that I LOVE Fuzzy’s. My college years were spent going to the Fuzzy’s location by TCU. I love their nachos, tacos, and margaritas. This location is the antithesis of what a Fuzzy’s experience should be. A friend and I discovered our mutual love for Fuzzy’s, so we decided to go on a Friday night. We walked in and noticed a line had formed at the cash register. While waiting in line, we decided to go over the menu and make our food decisions before getting to the cashier to order. Unfortunately, some of the customers in line ahead of us did not make that decision. They were full of questions and very indecisive. This would have been less problematic if there had been two cashiers but there was only one. So instead of being able to move through the line at a decent pace, we stood in line for a good 10 minutes while these ladies asked about nearly item on the menu. At this point I was getting hangry(the point where hunger and anger intersect). We finally ordered and were waiting on our drinks at the bar. Apparently the«bartender» never received notice that she was supposed to make two margaritas so she prepared beers for other customers and some mix of alcohol and juice but never got around to making our drinks until it was brought to her attention. Once it was, we received our small margaritas. At this location, they do not serve margaritas in the big schooners like they do at other locations. When we asked for a big margarita, we were told that they only come in the small glasses. For $ 5, we should be getting a decent sized margarita. That was a deal breaker for me because the Fuzzy’s in Fort Worth sells margaritas in the big beer glasses for $ 3.75 unless the prices have gone up and they’re much tastier. Once our food came out, we sat down to eat. The nachos were ok and the taco wasn’t too bad either. Overall, this Fuzzy’s location has a lot of kinks to work out. They’ve been open 3 weeks and are still incredibly inefficient. I’ve worked in a brand new restaurant before and by the 3 week mark we had worked out a lot of the issues that I saw last night. They should’ve had 2 registers going since it was a Friday night. Will I return to this Fuzzy’s? Maybe if they get their act together. Otherwise I will go to another location with better tasting food and better service. This location brings shame to the Fuzzy’s brand.
