Three words: wicked fast delivery. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve placed my order online, and in less than 10 minutes, I had my sandwich. Are they the greatest sandwiches in Boulder? No. But they have the fastest free bike delivery in town, and for that I am eternally grateful.

I’ve never really been a Jimmy John’s fan. Mostly because I prefer toasted sandwiches with toppings a little more fun than just the standard lettuce and tomato. Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat with some friends. It’s conveniently located on the Hill, close to campus and other surrounding restaurants. Awesome customer service and really friendly staff. It was definitely the fastest I’ve ever had a sandwich prepared! Would recommend nearby Cheba Hut over Jimmy John’s in the future but it’s nice to know the franchise stays true to its slogan.

I can appreciate a good hero, hoagie, or submarine just about anywhere, but to my surprise I found an amazingly fresh and tasty sandwich at my neighborhood jimmy Johns. I had never been to jimmy Johns before a week ago and I basically expected your typical fast food sub shop affair, but with the convience of fast delivery. To my surprise I found a clean restaurant with happy employees and a place that was actually a joy to be in(unlike cheeba hut among others). When i ordered my sandwich I was pleased to find amazingly ripe tomatoes, crunchy green lettuce, succulent cucumbers and tasty sprouts. Even chains like subway don’t get the fresh ingredients that I expect and it was nice to see the attention to detail at jimmy Johns. The veggies were fresh, bread was just crunchy and soft enough to work with the coldcuts, and the meat was pretty standard deli meat. The thing that will make me keep coming back to jimmy Johns isn’t necessarily there fast service or cheap prices, but it’s the fresh ingredients and awesome tasting subs that nail it for me. I can now say after being a first timer here a week ago that I love jimmy Johns.

I’m pretty shocked at some of the reviews on here regarding Jimmy Johns. You have to be aware that they are a sandwich shop and that is what they do — make sandwiches. Every time I have been into the store they have my sandwich ready before I have even paid for it. When ordering delivery,(we’ve timed it a few times) it has taken anywhere from 9 – 12 minutes. The people that work there are super friendly and fun to make conversation with. They are also open until around 3 am which is awesome in a college town. I would say this is a great sandwich shop. My favorites are the Italian Nightclub and the Hunter’s Club(add extra mayo, you won’t be sorry)

I end up going here a lot because it’s fast, but the sandwiches are always so disappointing. THREETIMES I’ve paid extra for them to add cheese to my sandwich and my sandwich had NOCHEESE when I bit into it. So disappointing. I think they’re so concerned with being QUICK that they don’t bother to pay attention to quality. Saying«HELLO» when I enter the store doesn’t make up for the fact that you don’t care about your food.

sandwiches are uninspired at best. Delivery is fast however, and they are open late.

I used to order Jimmy John’s for the sandwiches. And then I started ordering because they were fast. The sandwiches aren’t as good as they were a couple of years ago. The tuna sandwich in particular is basically a feast of yellow onions with a bit of tuna in between. I removed all the onions from my 8″ sandwich today and the pile of onions was equal to the size of the sandwich that was left! Has the economy forced JJ’s to save on tuna by buying up onions to bulk up their tuna sandwich? Not sure. Anyway, the speed with which they deliver is still unprecedented. Too bad the sandwiches aren’t that great.

Mold in the ice. Make sure you check your ice before you take a drink! i told the person i belived to be in charge and he said it happens all the time. My bread was hard i went to the same person and he squeezed it said it wasnt that hard and handed it back to me. i get people have bad days but seriously?

These guys are great for what they do and I love supporting any business that has bicycling delivery. However, my food has often been sub-par, and the wait for delivery had often exceeded their estimates, but it always arrives. Also, I have called late a few time when they are scheduled to be open, and the phone just rings and rings and rings, then I called again and the same thing happened. I love the italian with jalepeno chips. If they stepped the quality of their ingredients up a notch and trained their employees better, I’d give them 4 maybe 5 stars.

I have to say I’m shocked by the negative reviews on here. I’ve never had a sandwich take longer than 1 – 2 minutes in person, and 15 for delivery. It’s not like they’re artisan sandwiches, but everything on the menu is going to be a good price and tasty. I know their menu inside and out, and it really is my favorite sandwich in Boulder. The whole staff is very friendly and efficient and getting your sandwich to you quickly. Love, love, love.

Took 45 minutes for my sandwich. Not worth it.

I rarely do delivery and I rarely do fast food, but if I’m ordering for one and it’s horrible weather outside, it’s going to be Jimmy John’s. That actually sounds kind of mean considering they deliver via bike messenger. Tonight it snowed 4 inches in about an hour and it’s wicked slippery outside. But, somehow my sandwich made it to me in under 30 minutes and I didn’t even see the guy fall. Impressive. Extra tip! It’s been said enough, but it warrants repeating: the bread is worth the order. Even if you think the ingredients are bland, it doesn’t matter. Not to me. It’s that good and never fails to tame my growling stomach.

Hideous in all respects!!! Having never tried Jimmy John’s before I gave it a try and ordered some sandwiches for delivery. An hour later the delivery fellow calls and tells me he’s having difficulty finding the place. I told him I had just moved into a new place and that maybe I had given him the wrong address. The«person» started laughing and laughing at me, saying, «Yeah, sure.» When I went outside to find this moron the mocking laughter continued. Now I can only think this fool was extremely high, but wow did this event ruin my whole evening! The sandwiches were mealy and bland. Do not bother with this ridiculousness.

Please open in LA! I called the«Jimmy» hotline about franchising opportunities and was told they aren’t ready for Cali yet. But Clovis gets one? WTF Jimmy! You ever been to clovis ca? It sucks and might be the best thing that ever happened to that city. Yes I’ve been to that JJs 3 times! I stop at the JJs in boulder every time I’m here for work. The sandwiches are just as advertises freaky fast and damn tasty. Forget subway. I ended up talking w a guy that works there that saw my ATM card and knew I was from Michigan for 30 or so. Don’t knock JJs til you try one! Get the Vito, Turkey Tom; beach club or the lulu

This may be my favorite sandwich chain shop now. Sandwiches are cheap, prepared quickly and taste good. My only criticism of this location would be it’s size. Very little seating inside so most of their business must be delivery. Their sandwiches aren’t huge and that’s actually a plus for me. I hate trying to eat overflowing sandwiches leaking lettuce and mayo everywhere. Also they were playing R.L. Burnside in the background which I just think is really cool. The one in my neighborhood was playing Styx the other day. So an extra half star for musical taste. Figures it’d be the one in Boulder.

This is the most INFURIATING restaurant I have ever attempted to order from. Not only did I spend 10 minutes talking to an air-head little girl on the phone who did not know the menu and could not comprehend that I didn’t want sauce on a sandwich but I specifically asked if they would deliver to my location.(28th and Iris) She told me no problem. While waiting for my tasty sandwiches to arrive I got a call from someone else at Jimmy J’s telling me they had taken a look at a map a they were refusing to deliver to my address! They explained that their cutoff was Iris. I literally live 25 feet from Iris. I told him I had asked said air-head specifically, if my address would be a problem. He said she was new, had no idea what she was doing and was not from around here. You know how it is when you get your heart set on something(In this case a piled high roast beef sandwich with no sauce!) only to have your epicurial hopes dashed! We are now settled on Sesame beef from Golden Sun. At least they can be counted on. This sandwich shop needs to get their buns in a row before they lose all their potential customers!

Yeah, okay, Jimmy John’s delivers your sandwiches via bike messenger, all the bike messengers are supposedly hot, it’s totally hip to be a Jimmy John’s bike messenger, fine. I get it. But are Jimmy John’s sandwiches actually any good?(What a question!) No. No, they are not. They are not disgusting, and they won’t make you sick. There’s nothing offensive in them. And the bread is actually pretty good. But the ingredients are boring. The most exciting sandwich has a pitiful smear of guacamole that you might be able to see with a magnifying glass. The bread to filling ratio’s probably 6:1 at least. And there aren’t any flavor combinations that you can’t get somewhere else(or make at home in 5 minutes, for that matter). I don’t understand how this place gets business when it’s sandwiched(har!) right between Salvaggio’s and Half Fast, both far, far superior.

I love Jimmy John’s for deli sandwiches. The California Beach Club is loaded with avocado-deeeelicious. Fresh bread cooked in store. Great service. Sandwiches run about $ 6. A thousand times better than Heidi’s on the Pearl Street Mall. Located on the hill, so parking isn’t always easy. They also have a good location in Fort Collins that is somewhat fancier than Boulder. I also heard on the radio that this place had some issues with customers getting sick(just the boulder location). It was closed for a few days. I don’t know if they found the cause of the samonella.

The second you walk into this place the aroma of the fresh baked breads ALONE will have you drooling. They have a nice variety of sandwiches which I like, it’s also very convenient for CU-Boulder students. If you like Silvermine Subs, you will like this place also.
