Terrible, worst FedEx location I’ve ever been to. They told me they wouldn’t insure my overnight package for the amount I wanted ($ 1500) and that I would need to split it into two shipments. Crooks! I walked two blocks to the post office square location and had no issues. Do not go here.

Very poor customer service. After my significant other called and arranged it so I could pick up a package on her behalf, she was specifically told a note would be left with my name on it and that all I needed was the door tag #.
It wasn’t exactly convenient for me to swing by either, but when I did the guy working the counter this afternoon proclaimed — with a smugly superior attitude that you could tell he delighted in — that I could not pick it up because my license didn’t have the same address. I explained that we do live together, and I could prove it by going outside and getting my vehicle registration, which is much more current than my ID, but my new friend insisted that under no circumstances whatsoever could he turn over the package, and he also refused to speak with the addressee when I got her on the phone.
I am very very skeptical that the case was as closed as he said it was as a matter of company policy.
Even if it was, a) that was inexcusable for the business to give us the mis-​information that lead to the waste of time trip to begin with, and b) the dismissive manner of the specific employee I dealt with (in which he used superficially polite language as a thinly veiled way to cover up his obvious pleasure in shoving it in the customer’s face) was the kind of service you’re more accustomed to from stereotypical government clerks who love to reject requests. However, in a competitive customer service driven industry like this one, you’d think they’d do a better job weeding out that sort.

This is an absolutely top-​notch and professional location, located on Congress just two blocks from South Station. I uploaded a poster I needed in Boston from my office in Atlanta and received a phone call within minutes from someone at this location to tell my there was a formatting issue. I resent the file and he called back to say it was received. I thought that was amazingly courteous, but when I actually got to Boston a week later and picked up the poster, it was better than I could have expected and the guys who work there were so friendly. I wish the FedEx locations near my house in Georgia were this good.

Let me paint you a picture: 5pm on a Tuesday, I find out I need to ship something overnight. Like, right now. I hustle to the FedEx Print and Ship on Congress (a short walk from my office!), plop down what I need to mail and say «Umm I need this to be in New York tomorrow… can you help me? Do you do that here?» (because this is how ridiculous I am).
The people working there were so helpful. Not only were they like, yeah, we can so do this, they basically held my hand, corrected the state on my slip (which I had botched, natch) and looked up my company to charge the account directly.
Anything that takes 5 minutes and keeps me from dropping $$ out of pocket, warrants 5 stars in my book!

This Kinko’s (fine, FedEx Kinko’s, or FedEx Office, or whatever it is) is amazing. The guys who work here are so great — after a couple of jobs with them, we’re all buddies now, and they do great work for me really quickly. As far as these things go, I think the prices are fair, they always show me proofs and make whatever and however many changes I need, and are speedy speedy. If you have work or personal projects, they’re great for either!
