Food is not very good and a bit pricy The phở is disappointed with very little meat I was still hungry after eating there The decorations very cheesy It was not a pleasant eating experience

I really enjoyed the crab rangoons and the spring rolls from the Vietnamese restaurant. Also the bahn mi is delicious I just wish they put more meat in the sandwiches. I haven’t tried the phở yet but I’m looking forward to doing so.

The food is skimpy compared to other Vietnamese places. The location needs a bit of improving as it is in a tight convenience store parking lot.

Kind of like a fast food phở place. You go up to the counter to order and pay then. They give you a cup to fill your own water/soda, take a seat, and they bring you the food. Pretty limited items on menu, not a full viet phở place but they specialize more on their phở and rice plates. I ordered the crab puffs which were ok. Coulda been deep fried for just a little longer, and ratio of crab to cream cheese was a bit off. Saw just saw chunks of imitation crab, it was mainly cream cheese filling. Ordered the Mai special phở. It was kind of just warm and not hot. But the soup was a bit on the bland side. Service was great tho. Waitress was very friendly. And I actually enjoyed the décor. It was a bit tacky for a phở place but it was different and I enjoyed it!

Love their noodle salads and salad rolls. It’s nice to have a decent phở place so close to home! And the owner(I think she is the owner) is very nice and provides great service. We will be back!

My new favorite phở spot! Impeccably clean, friendly happy staff, cute décor, excellent phở. I’ll definitely be going back.

Cold to the point of discomfort. It was also New Year’s Day, and 25 deg F out, so it’s probably not a problem year round. The obnoxious low class Jesus music was kind of comical, but a little strange. It’s decorated in an island style thatch décor, reminiscent of set props for Gilligans Island. The people who work there are really nice and helpful. My wife left her purse there and they grabbed it and held it until she could get back and get it. I tried the Mai Phở special, the egg rolls, and the spring rolls. The Phở really doesn’t have a ton of taste. I dosed it quite liberally with sriracha, jalapeños, sprouts, and basil(I had to ask for more jalapeños) and it still didn’t taste like the Vietnamese Phở that I’ve come to know and love over many different years and restaurants. I loved the taro bubble tea. They don’t use the tapioca balls. Instead they use these little balls that are like salmon eggs in texture, but filled with lychee juice. They are quite good. I’d go back for bubble tea but not phở.

Was home sick and my brother brought some Phô over for dinner. We both had the vegan Phô, and he also had the salad wraps. I’ve had Phô in a few different restaurants in Beaverton but have not had one as delicious as this! Lots of fresh, perfectly cooked veggies, great flavor in the broth and I loved the fried tofu! One portion was enough to eat for two meals. I will absolutely be back!

We had a wonderful meal at Mai Phở. We started with a fresh, shrimp salad roll which was delicious! I always go for my usual entrée-lemongrass chicken noodle salad. It’s such a light, yet flavorful dish that satisfies me every time. My husband loves the speciality phở and the lemongrass pork bahn mi. Not only is the food fresh, flavorful and DELICIOUS but Mai is friendly and loves to chat with her customers. She remembers her customers and takes the time to visit and make personal connections. We will always visit Mai and enjoy her tasty eats!

**BELOWAVERAGEPHOINBEAVERTON** If you have given this place 4+ stars, good for you. But not good for me. PARKING ======== Small parking lot, don’t blink twice, you might miss the driveway. AMBIANCE ========= What is this. Straw huts, blue walls, etc. I CAN’T. Total eyesore everywhere. RATING: 2⁄5 FOOD ====== DEEPFRIEDCRABPUFFS(6EACH) — $ 4.50 Came with sweet chili sauce. This was OK, but tasted like something from Costco. I wouldn’t say that was real crab meat in those puffs. RATING: 3⁄5 PHOTAI — $ 8 Gets you overly-anise flavored beef broth and firm noodles. Nothing fresh about this. Missing culantro, oh hell no. No Vietnamese person would approve of missing culantro. Definite no-no’s all-around. RATING: 2⁄5 Service was friendly, but I didn’t come here for the service. NOTRECOMMEND.

This place is decent. The food was pretty good but there are better phở values out there if you search. The ambience is diladated old world dinner décor. The ladies who worked there were nice.

Very good food. Three of us had veg phở, pork noodle salad, special phở, and veg salad rolls. That was a good amount of food, and that was the order of preference, too, after a fair bit of tasting each other’s dishes. That veg broth is pretty outstanding. The peanut sauce that came with the salad rolls would have benefitted from some hot spice, and the tofu in the phở could stand to be marinated in something flavorful before frying, but if that’s the worst I can say, then it was a darn good meal. Definitely will return.

I went to this place based on reviews but was very disappointed. Banh mi was just not very good. Bread was good but toppings were mediocre and mayo was eh. Crab wontons were good but the service was very slow, it appeared they were understaffed.

I absolutely love this place. The lemongrass chicken noodle salad or lemongrass chicken over rice is a part of my weekly routine. Add a fried egg if you’re feeling it, because it is tasty. crab puffs are also tops! The service here is also great.

My wife and I ate lunch here, she has the ginger chicken plate and I had the beef phở. We were both pleasantly surprised with the meal and appreciate the reviews of our fellow Unilocalers. Her ginger chicken had an excellent flavor as it lives up to its name and description. My beef phở was phenomenal I added nothing to the broth seasoning wise, it came out of the kitchen perfect. Fresh ingredients were the key! Service was excellent and friendly we will definitely be returning!

I frequent this spot often when I’m feeling the need for phở. The staff is always friendly, the food is great and certainly reasonably priced. They’ve got options for everyone including vegetarian and vegan options as well. I typically order the Rare Beef phở, only $ 8.00 and always tastes great. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a relaxing lunch spot.

Fast, friendly, easy, delicious phở. Service was great. The waitress was friendly and seemed to know some of the«regulars,» which creates a comfortable local vibe. The rare beef is worth stopping by for and the broth is strong and tasty. They also offer vegan broth which I think really sets this place apart. It feels like a Hawaiian plate lunch place that got painted like a Mexican restaurant. Primary colors everywhere, grass roof umbrellas with paper lanterns and paintings of Palm trees and Chinese fans on the walls. And, of course, reggae coming through the somewhat impressive sound system. The culturally confusing is maybe not for some but I liked it. This place is straight up convenient. It’s right down the road from where I work on creekside which is somewhat of a «restaurant desert,» in that there’s nothing but chains and mediocre strip mall teriyaki restaurants around. All in all, I’ll most definitely be back.

The phở was fantastic! This was my inaugural sampling of phở: and the verdict is, to steal a phrase from Hook, bangarang. The broth clearly makes the dish. I was so preoccupied spooning as much into my mouth as possible that I forgot all about the rice noodles and vegetables that accompanied my enormous serving. For $ 8.00 you get a meal there and enough leftovers to have a second meal at home. If you’re smart enough to walk into a Vietnamese restaurant, you certainly don’t require my first-time observations, but just in case: order the phở. I also got the crab puffs and shrimp spring rolls. The crab puffs were good but nothing great. As far as the spring rolls go, I wouldn’t order them again; long on cheap vegetable fillers and short on shrimp.

I looked up «vegetarian Phở» on Unilocal because that’s what I was craving on that cold, rainy, Oregon day. I came upon this restaurant and decided to try it out. I showed up and the place was pretty empty. I wasn’t impressed with the décor which reminded me of a Taco Del Mar. I ordered the vegetarian phở with vegan broth and OMG it changed my life! You think vegan broth would be bland or not very tasty, WRONG! Tons of flavor and totally affordable for a bowl the size of my head. At $ 8 I had a ton of leftovers. Heathy Delicious Affordable

When we found this gem, we knew we’d be regulars. When I became a vegetarian, I kind of knew eating Phở would happen no longer. Most Phở places offer a tofu option, but it comes with beef broth, which defeats the purpose. Mai Phở has a vegan broth option which is to die for. The tofu is firm, the veggies cooked to just the right temperature and it always comes out fast! The woman who owns Mai Phở is incredibly nice. She may be one of my favorite reasons for returning.

So far so good! Service is a little slow but worth the wait. Plus they are super friendly. Cleaner than most other phở joints we’ve been to, and very reasonable prices. I ordered the rare phở and added veggies. The broth was delish! Loved it with the added(standard) veggies: broccoli cauliflower carrot cabbage. Hubs got the lemongrass pork. Pretty good! Love how it’s sliced instead of a big slab that you have to cut up. Did I mention the phở broth was heaven??? Definitely coming back!!!

I was craving PHO when visiting my friend in Oregon. It was cold and rainy and the soup just sounded delish. believe it or not, there is a huge Vietnamese base in Oregon. so their phở has to be legit. I was not mistaken. Upon entering, its not crowded during the lunch time(one pt Oregon). The décor is some hawaiian themed, coconut and palm tree thing. The lady at the front was nice, cause we werent sure if we were to order at the front or have a seat. we must of looked liked newbies cause she sat us and told us what was their specials. We ordered the crab Rangoons. omg I could of had a plate of those myself. And I got the traditional rare beef phở. The soup was on point, didn’t feel like the chemical of MSG going down my throat. The size is smaller that the ones here in the Bay, but they rival in taste. Some other guy next to use had some lemongrass chicken and it smelled soooo good. I would of ordered me some, but i was full. was hoping the guy would leave some on his plate so I could go steal some… JK!!! I would not do that… errr. anyways he ate every last morsel of goodness… should i lick the plate? haha jkjkj again. Anyways it was a great find and a great lunch date! will be back again some day!

I have been spying the reviews and biding my time until they had been open for awhile and worked any kinks out. Today we stopped by for lunch and all I can say is WOW. The best damn Phở I have ever had. I tried the Crab Puffs as recommended and they were excellent, my husband is not a fan normally but these were delicious, and they had actual crab in them, YUM! He ate three! I ordered the Ground Pork and Shrimp Phở and the combination was delicious. The broth is rich and flavorful and bright. I have never seen this at any other Phở Restaurant. Hubby ordered the Mai Phở Special with a bunch of stuff in it, stuff I don’t eat. He loved it and thought it was very delicious. I was dying to try the Pork and Vegetable Egg Rolls but I was so full already, the wonderful owner let me sample one and just like everything else on the menu it was outstanding and the filling was fresh and crunchy. I can’t wait to get a full order next time. The owner is a sweet lady and we had a chance to chat, she was involved in a fire at her old food cart and that is one of the reasons she chose to open a brick and mortar Restaurant, she is still recovering. We were a bit worried about the parking situation but when you actually pull into the lot there are plenty of parking spots. I cannot wait to go back. She uses organic meats and veggies and even has a Vegan broth for you crazy ass Vegans!
