Not sure why I have not reviewed this Burgerville, as I have eaten there for many years, not so much in the last 10 or so, but on occasion I still stop by. When I worked, and I forgot my lunch I would make the trek over there to grab a burger, and it was always decent, they are consistent. I do enjoy the Fish and Chips which I have noticed is now 10 bucks for 3 pieces. That is a little much for a fast food place, although they say it is Halibut. Today, we were in a hurry and stopped by to grab some lunch. I specifically asked for no tomato on my burger and of course I got it anyway, a nice couple slices of mealy tomatoes. I am not sure why, I just don’t like tomatoes anymore. My Mother In Law taught us to ask for extra crispy fries and I always forget, but today hubby remembered and damn they were hot and crispy as hell! That is the way to get good fries here, ask for them to be crispy! The main issue is the location, it is right on a very busy corner, and there is one way in and one way out, it kind of sucks. There is always a line at the drive thru all the way out to the street. If you are in the area and need a quick fix go for it, although Mai Phở is right across the street if you have a little more time, go there instead!

Tonight I decided to try the much-touted Alaskan Halibut. VERYDISAPPOINTING! The product is nothing more than oversize fish sticks. It may be Alaskan halibut, but it is made from chopped bits and formed. It is NOT solid pieces of halibut which, for $ 10, I expected. I could have gone to Skippers or Long John Silvers if I wanted chopped, formed fish. LAME!

Burgerville’s Rosemary fries are excellent.

As far as fast food restaurants go I’m thoroughly impressed with Burgerville. Their burgers were large and incredibly cheap. The fries tasted very fresh, and weren’t loaded with oil. Everything was clean and orderly and simple. But best of all, the food felt like such a huge improvement in quality over McDonalds or Burger King; I wasn’t hesitant to order again. Incredible value for cost.

Burgerville is always a good choice. The spread that they use on their burgers is amazing. Take your family there and enjoy their food.

Burgerville never disappoints! Got the Walls Walls onion rings… I forgot how delicous and perfect they are. Cooked perfectly to leave the outer breading crisp and salty, and the inner onion soft, tender, and succulent. I also got their special, the Walls Walls onion burger… messy but absolutely delicious!

Who’d have thunk that Burgerville could do justice to a pulled pork sandwich? Not I said the spider. Look they make some quality fast casual burgers and fries and of course if you’ve been here you know all about the shakes. But pulled pork? With a cherry slaw? And fried asparagus on the menu as well? What gives? I didn’t have any asparagus but the pulled pork surprised me. I’m usually a heavy on the spices that make you sweat when I eat something of this nature, but this was sweet and just a bit tangy and I had no problems with that whatsoever. It was good. The slaw was crunchy and the meat was not stringy or lacking in any way. I had some fries and a fresh chocolate strawberry shake to go with it and Burgerville’s shakes are always on point. I guess if you’ve been here you know the deal, if you haven’t, don’t judge a fast casual restaurant by the poor reputation of other fast food places. Burgerville is definitely different. Enjoy.

LOVE Burgerville, their gluten free buns, and especially their customer service. We ordered dinner tonight, got it home and the buns on our burger were mixed up, each had half a wheat bun and half a gluten free bun, not a great combo. I took the burgers back, the manager refunded our money, ensured our new burgers were made perfectly and threw in some more fries. Such good customer service and excellent food!

Not a fan. The place is poorly ran. I watched some guy who works there yell and swear at a homeless guy as he was already heading out the door. Then the owner tell that employee good job for standing up for yourself. I am all for standing up for yourself. BUT in a place of business you must remain professional. I didn’t come in to hear that mess. I just wanted a mediocre burger… Which I got.

I love this place! We come here on a regular basis, once a week or so. The food is fresh, delicious, and affordable. My favorite is the Tillamook bacon cheeseburger… SO YUmMY! And the chocolate monkey milkshake is AMAZing! You really can’t go wrong here. The staff is friendly, and attentive. They take cash of any denomonation. Anytime of day. It’s always clean inside, and the bathrooms kept tidy. Awesome job guys!

Always a pleasant experience with the many Burgervilles we’ve sampled. I’m just not a burger fan – the salads are good. Mostly we hit the drive through when my children are starving after school and sports and our 45 minute commute seems too long to wait for dinner at home. It’s convenient and not awful.

I’m sad that Burgerville® employees are required to stay until 11PM, even though it seems like the place is dead for hours. And then I imagine how awful it must feel on a night when people actually do come in at 10:50PM ordering more food to give them acid reflux and indigestion. We came on a day when the Sundays spelled like the desert were only one dollar. I regretted eating so much food at 8:45, which is about 15 minutes before bedtime.

In my amble opinion, Bergerville beats any other local fast food. The waitstaff here is composed of long-term employees and very friendly. My favorite meal is the hamburger basket and then I order an additional small hamburger.

I’m so torn on this review, let me try to explain. For one the workers are super nice, even offering up treats for my dog in the car, I love that! Also I have been saying for years that someone should do fast food but with better sourced ingredients like local natural beef and such so I love this concept of Burgerville being a PNW sourced fast food spot. They have regular burgers, chicken burgers, vege burgers(the vege is actually my favorite item so far), salads and of course fries(reg and sweet potato) and shakes. But sadly the beef burgers just don’t come out tasty. They seem like burger king quality even with the good ingredients. The beef seems pre-cooked and possibly frozen first, it comes out on a less than stellar bun too, seems flat. Now if they could have In N Out quality this place would be the best!

Love their seasonal foods. Blackberry shakes are my fav! Walla Walla sweet onion rings are the best. I love BV’s dedication to local community, local issues, posters of our neighbors, and support of church and team events. Kudos to you. I hope the airport is a great success. Thanks to Mike and Kathy for reminding me that their ice cream is just the best!

Fast table service and fresh food. I’m not personally a big fan of Burgerville, but I didn’t let that hinder my rating any. This place is as good as any Burgerville quality-wise, cleanliness-wise, and service-wise. It was pretty busy, but the line wasn’t bad at all and the food still came out fresh and fast. If you’re in the mood for Burgerville, this place won’t disappoint.

Overpriced and blah… the meat tastes like it’s previously frozen. Onion rings were loaded with oil and the fries are not freshly cut :( I want my in-n-out burger :(

To be fair, this is really a review of just one item on the menu. I moved away from Oregon 5 years ago, and have always raved that ‘for the best chicken strips ever, you really need to go to Oregon and try Burgerville’. You can’t imagine my dismay when, on a recent visit to Portland, I stopped in for my favorite treat. Just looking down at my tray, I knew something had changed. One bite, and I was done. If you have a winning recipe, DON’T CHANGE. Remember the ‘New Coke’ fiasco, when Coke tried to taste more like Pepsi? The new chicken finger recipe is that kind of disappointing. At least the bite of my husband’s Tillamook cheeseburger was still as delicious as I remember.

This is not one of the better Burgervilles. Maybe they have a burned-out crew, maybe they have a problem with the clientele, maybe the management doesn’t care? Customer service was all right, which is not saying much. But my experience and the experiences of my friends is that the food will simply not be what you expect of Burgerville. Recommend going somewhere else, there are plenty of burger and food options in easy reach.
