Went here for lunch. Terrible food. No flavor, bland. The best thing we had was the water and the fried wontons. Servers very unfriendly never refilled our drinks. Will not be returning.

Go here for take out all the time, Very delicious bone-in house special chicken! Actually went and sat down for dinner tonight and our server was awesome. We ordered something new and she answered all the questions we had, even came over to make sure we enjoyed it.

I really hope the reason why I got old, tough breaded chicken on a Saturday night is because this is their last night in business, and they’re skipping town. It was pretty much inedible. I wish I could give a negative star rating. Don’t waste your money! When the best Chinese food in Beaverton is Panda Express, there’s a problem.

Food was OK. Not as greasy as many Chinese food restaurants. Sautéed green beans were quite tasty. Service was horribly inattentive. We even had to request dinner-sized plates. Did they not notice when they brought out entrees that we only had appetizer plates?!? Won’t be returning.

Terrible service. Rude service. Worse food. The waiter brought us «egg flower soup» without knowing if we were getting a lunch special. When we didn’t order lunch specials we were yelled at for having soup… That we didn’t order or enjoy. We had two bites of the disgusting lunch, paid and didn’t take the good home. Worst place ever.

Get the House Special Chicken Wings. It’s not on the menu but they’re amazing. I recommend getting it spicy. They are crispy yet juicy, tossed in a sweet garlic sauce that coats the wings in a perfect glaze. — You don’t come here for the atmosphere — Quick service and very affordable

We came here expecting the 4 star reviews we found here on Unilocal!… I ordered the egg flower soup, expecting a creamy egg noodle concoction and bits of mystery meat — what I’m used to getting at any Chinese restaurant. This is not what I received. Different but good… Full of vegetables and even had fresh spinach… however the baby corn threw me off. My boyfriend ordered a C-13 szechuan chicken. What they brought us was szechuan shrimp. All the while we were being watched by the male owner, who seemed displeased by our arrival. We looked at our food, then looked at each other; a silent agreement to never return. We ate. Good… Not what we wanted, but good. Based on the language barrier and underlying feeling that we were not wanted, we won’t be coming back.

I’ve ate here a couple of times & haven’t ever been the biggest fan. Usually came with family members that liked this restaurant. I’ve tried a few things here, such as; orange chicken, fried rice and beef and broccoli. They were all mediocre! Won’t be back!

So, the mostly mediocre but adequate Bethany Chinese place that used to bring my kid’s beloved broccoli chicken to our door for 8 years, has shut their doors for good. This really put me in a bind. Taste of Sichuan? Their service or lack thereof just irritates me too much. Happy Panda? Its just ok and their menu is limited. China Bay? Also deceased. China Rim? Our experiences with their broccoli were meh. That place by nike? She hated that one. Since we were out and about delivering stuff to my folks I called in takeout to Lin’s China Jade. Broccoli chicken is acceptable(no onions) but has dreaded water chestnuts and the broccoli is somewhat saturated in a brothy white sauce(mushy). Steamed rice also perfect and acceptable. She ate the chicken, broccoli, and carrots leaving behind a half carton of bamboo shoots and water chestnuts. I couldn’t find their menu easily on line so I looked at other Unilocal reviews and winged it. Bbq pork chow mein tastes good, has interesting veggies(snow peas, broccoli, baby corn– hated by me but prized by Princess) but it doesnt taste fresh. I suspect the contents were recycled from leftovers. The snow peas were not bright green and were a tad limp. Acceptable at home but not out. The house special chicken is bomb. The nice lady asked me «spicy?» Say yes to spicy! Yummy battered chicken drumettes. Sticky sweet salty spicy. Good. Warning: this is not first or even second date chicken. It might be eat in the dark with a long term partner chicken. It is messy to eat and loaded with garlic. I still have garlic fingers. Got Szechuan eggplant which I have had before. It comes like perfect crescent shaped eggplant tempura in a box with the lid cut open. Sauce is separate. I had several sauceless wedges on the drive home. This disgusted my tween but oh well. Yum. About $ 37 for four dishes and rice. Lots of leftovers. Not bad. But. Still need chicken and broccoli in brown sauce with tender chicken. and crispish broccoli WITHOUT water chestnuts. Princess is inconsolable. And yes Ive tried making it but my efforts were rewarded thusly. «Just not the same, Mom». Sigh.
