Had a delicious and healthy sandwich and a terrific latte. Good strong brew. The service was first rate: efficient and out-going and friendly and not hovering. I believe my waitron was a young women named Talia. This place is worth a detour should you be heading for the ferry, or just coming on island, via bridge or ferry.

Went back twice. Amazing every time! Ambience is perfect, staff is friendly and fast. Everything is first rate. Have the gyro. Lemon bar is like two of any other lemon bar I’ve ever had.

coffee is wonderful– staff is wonderful. the only thing i wish is that they would change the pastries in their bakery more often! everything is so «yum!», but it would be great to see some new additions for the summer(maybe some new croissant flavors?) love having this spot in town, and will continue to get my morning coffee there.

Great place for a latte, baked goods, soup and sandwiches or a beer. Staff are all friendly and truly enjoy their work. The Marketplace is perfect for meeting a group of friends for coffee or lunch with comfortable seating and free WiFi. During warmer weather outdoor seating is available.

Stay away… food is horrible… greasy sandwich, watery tasteless soup and prices are out of whack. I live just down the street so trust me on this… go to the Treehouse, go to Hammy’s…what the heck go to Walt’s and get some gas station quality stuff from steam trays and heat lamps… just don’t go here, we need for this place to close down soon! Support Pleasant Beach village… adopt a cat, get some frozen yoghurt, use the clean public restrooms and for sure stop by the wine bar!

I love this place, and always make a point to visit when I’m in town. The breakfast sandwiches are yummy and the coffee is great too. It always seems pretty quiet but the folks working here are great.

I would assume that the proprietors intend for The Marketplace to serve as a communal social and dining space for visitors and residents alike with a large seating area with several kiosks(one for coffee, one for sandwiches, etc) around the periphery of the space. Despite its size, there is a cozy feel to the place. According to one of the employees, the kiosks used to be separate vendors, but in the past year the same company has been running all of them. When we came in on a sunny Saturday afternoon for a cup of coffee we were pretty much the only ones in there(I imagine they do a bit more business during the summer). The girl helping us was super friendly, even checking to make sure there was enough mint in my coffee and offering to add more if I wanted. The coffee was good, better than a cup I had up in Poulsbo later that day… If I lived here, I could see myself coming here a lot.

Four of us had lunch of salads and sandwiches. Not one of us thought enough to say it was good or to come back. It’s clean, nice, pleasant.
