Ol Stevsy here is now on a diet. This place passes the gluten free test, the fries are great and cooked separate from anything else. The GF burger bun is just an extra buck, quite reasonable, and it actually tastes good!

Unbeknownst to me when I wrote my previous review, Mighty Fine will cook your fries well done… just ask for crispy or extra crispy…

Not in love. Do like that they don’t fuss when you add or remove items from the standard topping list. I tend to think the ½ lb is too big, ¼ lb is too small, so there is that dilemma. I don’t love crinkle cut fries, so I opt for the chocolate shake, which is great. Food is tasty and fresh, but the décor creeps me out. Its like paying to go to a picnic with their long communal table cloth covered tables with hard folding chairs and décor is basically bringing their supplies out into the dining room. Just a wall of mustard and pickles. Weird.

I and my husband love everything about this place –food, staff, ambience, even the hand washing system! The staff is very friendly and nice. They explain you everything patiently, since we eat only halal meat and they get their meat from creek stone, they take extra care to make sure there is No Bacon Contact or NBC. Their burgers are amazing and well cooked, a very close cousin of elevation burger. I find it hard deciding between the two. Their French fries are amazing again like elevation burger! However mighty fine has better milk shakes, they are amazing! We love going to this place although it’s 10 miles from us

Surprise surprise. Got a nice double burger and chili cheese fries. Fries were not special, but the burger, was so simple and delicious. Loved the fixings. Will be back, though for this price, I’d need to justify against a combo at P. Terry’s. Very clean. Will come back for the shakes.

This is a solid burger place. The burgers are made to order and made of fresh ground beef on site(you can see real fresh meat through the glass window in the prep area!!). Here is a tip, you can have a burger bowl if you are on low carb diet or order the off menu Beast(1 lb burger). Their shakes are good, customer service excellent, i don’t care too much for their Fries or onion rings too greasy and not crispy enough for my taste. In summary, good fast and fresh burger served to you with a good attitude.

Can it be true? Has a burger place finally knocked Dan’s and Five Guys from their perch atop the ‘damn good backyard hamburger’ pyramid of taste? Let me explain: Might Fine Burgers Fries and Shakes(MFBFAS from hereon) reminds me that there are really two ‘tiers’ when it comes to burgers. One is the ‘gourmet burger’ tier, one that is defined by exotic meats(elk, boar, cougar, California condor) and exotic add-ons(brioche buns, arugula, snake venom, unicorn tears). The other is the ‘damn good backyard burger’, which is a simpler thing that seeks to impress with little more than a properly done patty, a plain bun, and more ‘common joe’ toppings. A place like Hopdoddy’s is an example of the former. MFBFAS should be the avatar of the latter. What I term as juicy, other less-enlightened people would call ‘greasy as hell’. Ah, but it’s so good. The service is friendly, the dining area pleasant, and the crinkle-cut fries are delish. Some tips are in order: a) For the adventurous(or plain gluttonous), order the ‘Beast’ which is two ½ pound patties. That’s right, 1 pound of grind-it-there fresh beef on the bun! Bonus points if your name is ‘Belle’. b) Get the lemonade. It’s the same price as a soda, plus if you’re a Philistine and don’t like the lemonade, you can always empty it out and go up to the soda machine to get the swill of your choice for free! c) Do try out the ‘hand Jacuzzi’ before you go; preferably before you eat. Your hands will feel tingly afterwards. Very cool bonus. This place pegs the ‘CTJ Scale’ at 5 stars, as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing on after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK being seen eating here by Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus’ Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn’t have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn’t have my penultimate supper here, either.

Sitting in my hotel room, out of town and suuuuper hungry, I decided that I wanted a burger. The usual places came to mind: McDonald’s… Burger King… Ughhhhh– thinking about those places bored me to tears! It’s too cold to get out there for a burger that’s unsatisfying, and in an hour after pretending to enjoy it, be hungry again… The agony, right? So, instead of leaving the comforts of my room and braving the 57 degree weather aimlessly(I’m a native Houstonian, 57 degrees is freezing!), I decided to look up a «good burger place» and found Mighty Fine. Upon walking into the establishment, I knew I would be in for something«good.» The place was brightly lit, charmingly decorated and was pretty big inside. When I walked up to the counter I was kindly greeted right away, and I informed the young lady that it was my first time checking them out. She asked me if I wanted to see the different sized burger patties that they had… I wouldn’t have thought the question strange if she wasn’t so adamant about me seeing the burger patties; so, I giggled a bit and said… «Suuure.» She then yelled something to the cooks in the back, they yelled back in unison, and a guy flashed me his patties with a cartoon-esque grin. Needless to say, I found it pretty funny and super entertaining. I decided to order a ½lb cheese burger with everything on it, onion rings, a [diet] Dr. Pepper… oh, and a chocolate shake, just to see if they would do anything else cool… They didn’t, but all of the food that I ordered quickly made up for that disappointment! Sooo, I give Mighty Fine my stamp of approval and I encourage you all to check them out as well! The place, customer service, and food were fantastic and it’s well worth getting out there for… In any weather!

The burger wasn’t good at all. It was dry and there was nothing special about it. I also ordered the special salted Carmel shake which was delicious! But don’t come for the burgers they’re not good.

Their onion rings are really good. And I love their hand washing machines. The burgers are ok but nothing to write home about.

One of my neighborhood burger places. Nothing really that special to recommend about the place other than it is fast and has very decent prices. The burgers and fries are okay, just not anything that special about the taste or where I will go for that sit down meal with buddies or co-workers. It is a convenient location for a meal if you are shopping at Arbor Walk or the surrounding area like the Domain or Arboretum.

Stopped in Mighty Fine today to order a couple burgers & fries to go. I did not check my bag before leaving, which is totally my fault, so I did not realize until I got home that I had the wrong order. We contemplated eating what I brought home because Mighty is several miles from my house, but the order wasn’t even close to ours so I called Mighty to explain the mistake. I spoke with Josh who immediately apologized & offered to reimburse me and offered to put in another order if we wanted to come back so it would be ready when we arrived. Josh caught us at the door when we arrived with our food, confirmed he credited my card and even gave me a gift certificate for our trouble. It was above and beyond what I expected! We decided to eat there this time, and decided to grab a couple small shakes to drink and when I went to pay Josh insisted on covering those as well. Glad we came back cause as usual the burgers were great. Sorry this review is more about Josh than the food, but it’s not every day someone goes out of their way like that to make a customer happy — I’ve certainly had lesser service at fancier restaurants. So thank you once again Josh for taking care of us, you’re the bomb!

It’s a simple and consistently good meal. I always know what I’m going to get, and if you are in a rush it is a quick in and out(just be mindful if it’s around lunch there can be a line). With all the Austin locations, there is usually one close by, and if not– you can always Favor it!

Wife wanted to try this place since they serve halal burgers. She liked it so much we came here twice. I wasn’t feeling burgers so tried some cheese fries and they were pretty good. Really liked the onion rings too. Pretty solid place especially for Muslims looking for a good burger.

Great tasting burger! Honestly, my favorite fast-food burger I’ve had here in Austin so far, above P Terry’s and Whataburger. More expensive than either, though, so I’d prefer Whataburger as a cheaper option. I also tried an onion ring, and it was just perfect. Wish there was more variety and sauces to choose from, though.

Mighty Fine burgers is equivalent to Five Guys, Smashburger, Fatburger, Burger Monger, etc. The list could go on… Nothing really sets these restaurants apart in my opinion. I had a plain burger and fries. No frills. It was tasty but nothing spectacular. The fries were piping hot. I do remember that and that’s always a plus. The burger was generously portioned and seasoned well. The one thing that struck me was the picnic style seating. There are long tables where everyone sits together. It’s fine if the restaurant isn’t crowded but if it is then you could find yourself sitting shoulder to shoulder with strangers. That could be weird… luckily it wasn’t too crowded the day I went. The other thing I loved was the hand washing station. What a novel idea! Kudos to the individual who designed it!

I’m a relatively new Austin burger enthusiast. In my pursuits, I have to admit, Mighty Fine– and I found this incredibly surprising– was _just okay_. I also confess that I thought maybe staking out this shack, I might find the super-awesome director Robert Rodriguez(I’ve heard he hangs out here), but that, too, was a disappointment. =( As for the burger, I found it a bland, both over AND under cooked(a feat, I tell you) mess on a bun! The burger, itself, was a lopsided disc, thin in one place, fat in the other. I think that constituted, or at least helped, the strangeness of the temperature. There was little to no seasoning, and, unfortunately, the ketchup/mustard/pickle just didn’t hold up to the half bloody, half juicy bun! Like I said, a mess. =X The rest of the meal was just as mediocre. Fries without salt, soda… you know, soda-y. All in all, if it wasn’t for RR(my super favorite awesomest director of all time), I probably wouldn’t go back. That’s not to say that I don’t owe them one more shot(I think I do, if one listens to the hype), but for now, I’ll continue on my Great Burger Sojourn.

I like Mighty Fine burgers. I like this location because they are fast, have great service and have consistent quality as well. The burgers aren’t the best you have had but they are one of the best you have had a fast food joint. They are always consistently cooked and sized. I never gotten any overcooked or under cooked for that matter. The burger has good flavor has well. The fries are decent, fried with the skin on. The fries are the weakest part of the meal. Their shakes are very delicious an I love the strawberry lemonade. The service is always great and my order usually takes about 5 minutes or less to get to me during lunch time. I highly recommend this location. They also have gluten free options as well, FYI.

Tonight, I was in the mood for a burger, fries and shake and found Mighty Fine on Unilocal.First, I do not eat burgers and shakes that often, but when I do, I like a thick shake, hot and crispy fries, and a flavorful burger. Unfortunately, Mighty Fine did not do the trick. The burger was cooked fine, but lacked flavor and seasoning. The shake was runny, almost as though it was mostly milk, and very little ice cream. The most disappointing were the fries — burnt and cold, as pictured. I’d suggest trying somewhere else.

Mighty Fine, how do you do it! Fantastic burgers, friendly staff, and fun environment for the whole family makes me want to come back for more. The burgers here taste like what a burger should really taste like. They don’t try to put in any fancy sauces to lure customers in. They keep it simple by sticking with the basic ingredients like beef, lettuce, pickles, onions, etc. Whats better is that they use 100% fresh ground beef that is ground on-site and hand-formed right in front of you. You can watch them make it behind a glass wall! The meats don’t have any chemicals such as antibiotics or preservatives either(as quoted from the website). It is also sustainable and sourced from certified small ranchers. How awesome is that. The hand washing machine is pretty cool too. If you use it, make sure you run through the entire cycle and not pull your hand out too early. You need to rinse off the soap during the last few seconds. The men’s restroom is pretty interesting too. One-way mirror allows you to see the outside while in the restroom. My favorite type of burger is ½ pounder w/cheese, all vegs, red/yellow/white, and then grill the onions. It hits the spot every single time. Delicious! Sometimes I feel like one is not enough, but I usually get it with fries and a small shake(orange dreamsicle or chocolate+strawberry is the best) which fills me up. Price is a bit higher than your usual burger joint but it’s worth it! Good quality, friendly service, and fun/nice atmosphere is almost guaranteed.
