The server is really rude. I speak three times waht I want, and she can’t get it. If you can’t get it, that was fine, but don’t laugh at me like I speak alien language. Laughing at customers? Seriously?

Okay, it’s not the swankiest place and in a strip mall, but this location lives up to its name because it was a full house on a Sunday. We were fortunate to get a table at 11:30AM, as the crowds were forming. They ended up erecting a table for us in the middle of the room, just to get people seated. We started off with a Chinese tamale covered with a tea leaf and a sticky rice concoction with pork, mushrooms, and other vegetables and meats that’s very savory and probably not too gook for you, but hey, live it up once in awhile! W also tried the shumai, chicken feet beef and shrimp noodles, and other types of dim sum. The best part was for the 4 of us, it came out to $ 30.00! Quite a savings, considering a family of four spends that much at McDonalds for dinner, so it was quite reasonable. The only words of encouragement I can provide is to get there around 11:30, when all types of food is starting to be carted and you are sure you’re not getting yesterday’s leftovers. Also, it’s good to drop someone off to get a number because parking is limited in this strip mall. Be sure to get a full selection of dim sum, as this place is really great for taste and reasonable cost.

I’ve been here a few times previously since it’s around my hood, but never really thought too much about it. Maybe it’s because it’s located in the food court in the President Plaza in Arcadia, and the parking situation always stinks there. Or maybe I always thought my other neighborhood convenience place Sam Woo is better? Well, think no more for me. I will rank Full House BBQ just as good as their competitor. The only problem is parking is tough in the afternoon on weekends, and it’s a further walk… yes I’m lazy! Full House, the take out side(not the restaurant next door) serves delicious food. I like their Hainan Chicken with rice, BBQ Pork with rice, and their roasted pork. Their roasted duck is also decent, but I’m not too much of a duck guy. Everything is flavorful as it’s cooked to perfection. Don’t mind the ugly banners and the generic menu they have on display. Also, don’t mind their greasy glass display case of the roast ducks and pigs. The food is good! The proportions served is not too overwhelming, but enough to satisfy your taste buds along with your stomach. And it’s all reasonably priced between 5.95 to 7.95 per order! I was quite surprised the Chinese lady at the counter was nice. I was kind of expecting her to be rude and mean to me. Why? Because it’s very typical. Sorry… it takes a Chinese boy like me to know a Chinese lady’s personality. Thank goodness I was wrong. She was happy to take my order even before she was done with the person ahead of me. Yes, I looked over my shoulder to make sure nobody was behind me. Lol. Okay, the bottom line is I like coming here now because the food is good and not too expensive. It’s worth my struggle to find parking and the further walk compared to easy access Sam Woo. Yes, they should make their take out location more presentable to the customers, and they should also clean their food display cases. Because of that, three stars. But can easily be upgraded to four. I’m a fan!

Purchased togo for the BBQ pork and a whole soy sauce chicken. The taste of the BBQ pork is so so and not much flavor to it. The whole soy sauce chicken appears to be not fresh and some parts of the chicken breast did not taste like meat, sort of like powder when you chew it. I dumped my $ 30 worth of to go food in the trash after a couple of bites. Lesson learned, will only purchase BBQ pork or chicken at Monterey Park.

Located in an inconspicuous food court next to Ranch 99, this is the«to-go» option to the full service restaurant next door. I am a big fan of Chinese roast duck and BBQ pork so, super excited to try out the combo here. For $ 6.75 it came with egg drop soup, rice and steamed vegetables — for the price it’s a lot of food! First the good — I was pleased with the duck and the BBQ pork was pretty good, too. Next time I’d just order those two things to go. I really wanted to like my meal, especially for affordability, but sadly I was totally disappointed in the steamed rice(simple right?). I think they served leftover or old steamed rice that had been warming for long time. Fresh rice is just a basic expectation and sadly it dampened the overall experience. Also the egg drop soup was bland and flavorless and so were the veggies. Next time I’d probably try one of the other places nearby. Also note, there’s a place next door that serves Chinese stinky tofu. A lady next to us ordered and it boy the tofu earns its name. I’m authentically Chinese and I could barely stand it! An accurate description would be a mixture of bad breath, feet and horse fart. If you’re squeamish and sensitive to smells, I’d take my food to go!

Located in the food court next door. Offers bbq duck, bbq pork and other delicacies. No customers when we were the if seemed that peeps were ordering from the actual restaurant instead.

Got $ 5? Tired of in-n-out? Hungry? Come here then. $ 5-$ 7 gets you a rice box with chicken or BBQ pork. It will fill you up. Rice is clumpy so that’s a downer. But this is a cheap economical eat. The hanian chicken isn’t the best, but its deboned and a leg quarter that is still okay-good. Soup is included.

The food is never consistent. The char siu sauce tastes likes soy sauce thickened with ?_(&()???, and the duck is bland. Someone please open another bbq place in Arcadia.

Other than running out of everything early each day… this is a great little Chinese Barbecue(Char Su) take out stand in the middle of a small Asian food court. I had one thing… the half roasted duck to go. It was flavorfull, tender, and slightly fatty. Perfect. They also have steamed chicken, BBQ pork, pig ear, offal, sausage… and more. If it is Cantonese style meat that hangs in a window… Full House is likely to have it.

I come here for cha siu(BBQ pork) by the pound. It’s not great, but it’s the closest place where you can get it. They also have a BBQ pork rice plate which is convenient, but note that there is not enough meat so I usually get a second item somewhere else in the food court.

In the past 15 years, I had always bought my to-go BBQ duck here. The quality is OK, comparable to most other BBQ ducks in the SHV. The eat-in version can taste much better, but only rarely. I have eaten at that restaurant several times, but there was only once that the BBQ duck was much more tasty. I don’t know why. Probably that only one time was when the boss’s friend canceled his dish and that dish happened to land on our table.

Hainan Chicken @ $ 4.95 is my favorite! This is an extension of the Full House Seafood Restaurant where I have dined many times. It offers a complete menu of dishes and dinners for to-go or dining in the Food Court of the President’s Shopping Center in Arcadia CA.

Unilocal should create a special rating for the worst place to eat — this one would be the worst one in Arcadia. Its sickening. The food court is smelly, and unclean. The food(we ordered their special — duck) was rotten. If you smelled the neck of the duck, you would know that the smell was of a rotten bird. The rest of the food we ordered was disguising. Its sickening to go and eat at such places.

Likes: duck noodle soup — inexpensive simple broth with fat yellow noodles and they gave a whole duck leg… Dislikes: …but the duck leg had a lot of bone, not that much meat

Horrible service and dirty food court. Went to get to go food and the cashier was talking to his friends in Chinese the entire time. When I told him my order, he packed it up and gave it to his friend. He then turns to me and says,” sold out!”. Really?! Obviously the owners were not there.

Cheap option for buying food to go. I ordered a cha siu wonton noodle soup but got a wonton that was still cold in the middle(probably was taken out of the freezer) :(

Full House is one of the two restaurants in Arcadia that serves dim sum. What may come as a surprise is that Full House also sells to-go dim sum starting at 10:30AM in the adjacent food court. The selection is smaller than the restaurant’s but it will sell the basic dumplings — siu mai, har gow, turnip cakes, chicken feet, bbq pork buns. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why they can’t sell earlier than 10:30AM because the restaurant is certainly up and running much earlier. This is also my family’s go-to spot for Chinese BBQ. We usually get duck or BBQ pork and reserve the roast pork for places in Alhambra that can achieve a much crispier skin.
